Slime volleyball's an amazingly fun game. When I first found it a few years ago, I was hooked.

And I want the pistons to potentially play the Pacers. Nothing like some good ol fashion rivalry. :P And to the guy who posted like two above, how do you possibly think Philly could beat the Pistons?

I wouldn't say Detroit waltzed in, or won it by fluke. People just aren't used to seeing a team without some all-star big name to talk about all day win. The Pistons 100% deserved it last year from how they played and beat the Lakers, and that was no fluke. A diehard LA fan and Detroit fan aren't going to agree much on basketball, I know that much. :P

As we know, smithing itself is a pretty obsolete skill. It's only raised now for skill totallers, because even once 99 smithing is obtained, it's still hard to make a decent profit. The problem is, smithing was made and designed a long time ago, and it hasn't been changed/updated in such a long time, not taking into effect other changes in runescape. Currently there are some big problems: Rune as a smithable item is so common now, and isn't worth much anymore. It takes so many hours to get a high level to smith rune, but only a few (relatively) to get the level to wear it. Anyways, I'll address what can be done. Simply add a new set of ore to mine (change addy lower to fit in the huge gap of 55-70), and lower rune's also. Have more ores for both of those rocks, and change some alch values. Have maybe two or more new sets of ore for new equipment to mine + smith. I know everyone gets tired of the "MAKE NEW SMITHABLE ARMOR" threads, so I won't really get into detail on the armor and weapons themself. Anyway, maybe one or two new smithable item sets will be added, with a higher defense requirement. People with way above 60 defense, or 70 (counting crystal..) really get shafted, because people with 10x the xp of a person with level 60 def have to wear the same dragon armor. Even if a new set of smithable armor wouldn't be practical to release, at least the requirement for all armors should be raised a lot higher, but I won't get into that. Additionally (from talking with Trixstar), excluding the new smithable sets of armor, there should be one more place to get an untradable set that only people with +90 defense or so can get to. Or possibly only by doing a specific hard quest, it doesn't matter. Once you do get the requirement, you have access to a store that sells untradable rare bars that'd be the highest of all the above mentioned bar types, that each sell for a few million (money drain, anyone?). Of course they'd sell, and it would at the same time require people themselves to raise their smithing levels quite a bit. Again, the armor would be untradable, so people couldn't just merchant it away like they do with dragon armor, and it could be a way for a really high level warrior to stand out against some level 60 defense person wearing the same thing. Anyway, in case my smithing items weren't clear enough, I'll put em into a table. Armor Type-/-Smithing Level requirement-/-Defense Level Requirement Bronze-/ 1-12 /- 1 Iron -/ 13-24 /- 10 Steel -/ 25-36 /- 20 Black -/ N/A /- 30 Mithril -/ 37-48 /- 40 Addy -/ 49-60 /- 50 Rune -/ 61-72 /- 60 Dragon -/ N/A /- 70 Crystal -/ N/A /- 75 New Armor #1 -/73-84 /- 80 Special Armor #2- / 85-99 /- 90 (or hard quest) Anyway, that's vaguley how things could be changed. Nowadays, a beginning player just flies through bronze to steel and above incredibly fast, so there should be a bigger gap between them to bring back an ounce of value to those armors. Anyways, to conclude, I'll list the things that this could possibly change. -Re-energizing of the obsoleteness of mining and smithing. -A money drain (purchase of 'special bars') -Bringing back value to specific armor -Setting apart armor worn from someone with 60 def to soemone with 90 def -Having an actual untradable rare set of armor to finally please the small percent of high levels who have been badly wanting something like it. Well there's my suggestion - comment as you wish.

With potions, sure. Members don't really use attack potions or anything, maybe make em tradable (not makable) to f2p. But blue dragonhide armor, definitely a no. They just got addy arrows, and with any higher of an attack bonus, they'll own the wild and the f2p triangle will get messed up.

You guys sure discount the Pistons easily, considering they won it last year and still have an amazing team. If they can take out Miami, they should be able to win it all again.

For gimp, try just googling it. I don't know the site. Photoshop isn't free, and if you want to just go out to a store and buy it, it'll set you back about $400+. :P So go with gimp.

Hmm, haven't been in much pain in a long time, but when I was a baby I dove headfirst out of my crib, breaking my collar bone. A year or two later I had to get stitches from hitting my head on a table from running around it and hitting it. :lol: I don't remember doing either of those of course, but I'm sure they hurt a ton. :)

Pros can find their house just by zooming. 8) I'm bad with directions, I was surprised I found my house so quickly from all the way zoomed out.

Eh, pretty much. Just adds some competition, and competition is always good. I haven't seen Mapquest's in awhile, does it have all the features that this one has? Nonetheless, one or the other is bound to one up the other one if they're identical to get that edge.

vgmusic.com also has a ton of midi's from almost every video game. Has some piano stuff too. I love those sites with new renditions of classic video game songs. :)

I know you guys have probably seen all those satellite image web sites with zoomed in pictures of your houses, but this was recently added to google today. http://maps.google.com/ Sure, it's nothing new, but now privacy concerns will rise, and that ability will be given to a ton more people. Anyways, the interface is pretty good, and it's a cool little tool to use. Just don't go and post a picture of your house. :)

I'm assuming you've read/watched The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom? -edit, someone got to it first. Anyway, a nicely written and if you really read it, it can allow you to really think about yourself, which is an important thing to do.

This "what's going on with off topic? It seems so boring lately!" type of post always comes up every month or so, always with the same type of responses. And as usual people blame it on people posting boring stuff. Maybe take it upon yourself to think of an interesting topic of discussion to post instead of talking about how dull discussion's got lately.

Add more depth in the hills, and more shadow. Very good for a second attempt at pixeling though.
