I wouldn't use the word 'dump.' They still love each other, they just need to keep their distance til things get safer. I'm sure by the end of book 7 if it's a happy ending they'll be back together 'officially.'

Well there's no question that Dumbledore was pretty much at that state, but I think Snape and DD planned it to go that way. He could be 'clinically dead' but only for a certain point of time with a modified version of the spell Snape used. Maybe like someone said, the potion he drank in that one room was specifically put there to help him in some way deal with a pre-planned spell of Snape's. I know it sounds far-fetched, but JKR gave us a lot of room to come up with theories for it.

From reading other forums, I picked up some ideas. Mainly the possibility of Snape actually still being a double agent but still being on Dumbledore's side. Here's the proof of DD's death being a staged setup. DD went down too easy. Just because he had no wand didn't mean he couldn't have stood a chance. He's such a powerful wizard, and I don't think he'd go down that way. The whole thing could have been prearranged, with DD specifically asking for Snape. Him talking Malfoy out of it to delay time for Snape to 'kill him fakely'? Freezing Harry to stop him from intefering. That's a possibility because Harry would have wanted to defend DD, while DD's plan was to stage his death. DD has a patronus of a pheonix - which by chance gets reborn out of its ashes. DD knew that Draco had a mission (maybe knew it was to kill him even). Maybe he allowed Snape to stage it to save Draco and Snape's(through the vow) lives? Snape could have even used a trick wand type thing that the Weasely twins sell. Or perfected a way to cast that spell while disguising it, having it being nonlethal. Snape made his main concern from there being to run away; not to cause any harm to Harry (although he was emotional so I'm not sure). So even when Snape killed him, DD completely trusted him. Was he that clueless to just rely on a false hope that people deep down are good? Or is there more to it than we believe? DD is in a white tomb - not buried underground I don't think. Now we have to question why he would want to stage a death. It doesn't make much sense does it? Leaving Hogwarts in a mess like that. Possibly he saw the Horcrux's as a higher priority and needed to devote all of his time to finding them. I mean imagine book 7. It's supposed to be only a little bit longer than book 6, but SO MUCH has to be crammed into it. Harry Potter finding 4 horcruxes on his own? Wrapping up so many characters and storylines and what happens with everything? Leads me even to think that JKR would have a loophole in her saying something along the lines of "there will be 7 years of harry being in hogwarts I will write on" - when possibly book 7 won't be at the school (shut down a year or Harry not going), and a book 8 being released after, wrapping up the rest of things and ending the school year officially. Anyways, book 6 unsurprisingly left me with more questions than answers, and I can't wait to read the finale.

I'd probably change my rs name to adam007 (although some random guy registered it a few months ago, which I'm kicking myself for not making a tut island newb). AJL221893's pretty hard to remember, so yeah, I'd prefer something more recognisable.

You talked to some guy on Cinnabar island, then you go to the east coast of the island. You surf up and down the half land half water part, til you find Missingno. Just by seeing it, it put a symbol by the 6th item (I think) on your item list which gave you infinite of that item, messed up your hall of fame, and glitched up some other stuff. Why do I remember all of that? :shock:

Yeah, my memory always is so deteriorated of the stories before I read each one. All I remember of 5 is the ending. Usually while you read the newest book most of the stuff comes back to you. I just don't want to have to read 5 over again. That was one monster of a book.

one little mistake pisses you off that much? there are mistakes in every movie like that. and at the end they were ok because the machines just started to work on boston, they just got there. at least thats what it seemed like to me. They kept talking about how everything electric wasn't working. All of the cars, the lights, the news stations. It was a recurring theme and yet the storm failed to notice this camera that the movie then focused on. In such a high budget move I would expcet there to be a person who watches the movie before it's released and points out all the very noticalbe flaws. It's always possible that the guy came like from 10 miles away where the storm didn't effect things, drove into the city, and was able to film. The movie shouldn't make people to make their own connections like that, so yeah, I guess you could call it a mistake.

they put the things there before humans existed. Pet worm is asking how come they aliens didn't just take over Earth when they buried the machines when no one was around, why wait till humans appear to try to take it over? As someone else speculated, maybe they were fine in their homeplanet and didn't need the Earth till now. Or maybe because otherwise there would be no movie or book that people would want to read? :wink: In the intro though, the guy did say the aliens wanted to take it over because they became envious of the humans or something.

I took the aliens dying to human diseases to mean that they thought they were in control of everything, but playing god didn't work with them. Just as diseases kill us, it killed them. They weren't welcome and weren't meant to invade, so their nonimmunity to germs was their doom. Kind of brings up a "why didn't they wear space suits?!" type question, but I guess they had to have a weakness like every movie makes em, and that was it. And let me explain the red vines better. That was the aliens terrafarming on earth, trying to make it more like their place. The novel had it that way, because Wells wrote Mars or wherever they came from (can't remember) to be covered in red plant type things, so they tried to make it like their own planet. The blood from the humans was sprayed out and elements of it was used as a fertilizer for the vines. Now to my complaints. I didn't really mind the kid being alive, but what did bug me a little bit was how the family Ray met up with at the end seemed all fine and dandy as if they didn't just go through the same thing everyone else did. The whole city was in ruins, yet the mom and the grandparents walk out of the house as if they were just drinking afternoon tea or something. I guess I didn't like how there wasn't much of a plot, I would have preferred a more 3rd person view of the story, and it felt kind of empty to me, but overrall it was decent.

Congrats to San Antonio. They stepped it up and took the W in the last quarter. 'What-if's' still are echoing through my head though. :cry:

I was pretty upset at game 5's result, which made most people think the Pistons basically lost because of it. But now it's all evened up. They proved they can win in San Antonio, and really the best team will win tomorrow's game. Here's for an amazing game 7 (hasn't occured in 11 years :P).

They didn't start making new episodes I'm pretty sure until the DVD sales became so amazing. Fox decided to give McFarlane another chance, so he started new episodes after that point.

But repeatedly alching an item really has nothing to do with combat. When jagex first added that option, I doubt their intention was to have everyone level up using it. I completely agree with the post. Outside of the wilderness, magic isn't used at all because it's so expensive. Jagex seems to only look at mages as pkers, which I dislike. The only mage additions they've added in the past few months have been mainly to help mages pk easily. I want a spell that doesn't cost 500+gp per use that you can actually use to fight with. I think a good solution would be something like the ranger crystal bow. A crystal staff, which has to be charged, but actually hits decent and doesn't require runes. I doubt they could change anything enough to have people do regular magic attacks for xp, because it's so slow and if you want it to be fast it'll cost a lot of money. But a crystal staff that you pay for but doesn't require runes and hits pretty good would be nice.

First ones that came to mind were Smavey, The Sith, and Oergg.

In my opinion, Family Guy beats American Dad in every way. I don't really like any of the American Dad characters. They're all too one dimensional for me. Family Guy characters are a tad one dimensional too, but I like the dimension they each have - if that makes any sense. I just don't think the Dad in American Dad (forgot his name) is really that funny. Peter on the other hand I always find hilarious. That's just my opinion.

5/10 This is one of those posts that you'll one day find again in a year and laugh about it. And no offense to it. I mean it's decent, but it doesn't follow the style of how runescape items look, and it's pretty sloppy.

First of all, there really doesn't need to be a fix to rares themselves, as they aren't the cause of inflation. Second of all, people who have a party hat set (or any set of any type of rare) and wouldn't want to sell them would just make as many newb accounts as necessary to each hold a party hat on, to avoid having to trade them off.

I'm not 100% positive, but you might be able to do it with Pokemon Colloseum. Like Spooferfish said though, you could do it fine with a gameboy player. (http://www.gameboyplayer.com)
