Pokemon Kid
Looks like she's having a lot of poke-fun...in her own little poke-world. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Yay No School!
We got 2-3 inches in Michigan, and it's still coming down. Still school though.

Pigs genome project and genetic engineering
I'm not so sure I agree with you on the "The pigs obviously don't know or care." Just cause we can't understand the pigs, doesn't mean they don't know or care. A person would feel left out, embarrased, isolated, and like a freak. I know I can't literally prove that a green pig doesn't feel those feelings, I think that can be assumed. Being green doesn't effect the pig, and I doubt they feel like outcasts or anything. But then again, nobody can know either way, and that's a whole new can of worms over if animals can consciously think or not. And Apinagez, I agree with you. Society as a whole is heading in every direction to keeping people alive longer, and preventing even more deaths, curing diseases, etc. Eventually the world will be overpopulated, until almost inevitably the only sure-fire population control will occur. Some type of plague or widespread killing disease like the bubonic plague when Europe was overpopulated. At least we won't have to deal with anything like that in our lifetime.

Fun Thing to Do if You're Bored
That was fun for about a minute. :P It's hard to do anything really artistic, but fun I guess to just move it around and entranced in it.

Pigs genome project and genetic engineering
Why do you say that? Would you want green skin? Glowing in the dark like a freak? So are you saying genetic engineering as a whole is bad science? The pigs obviously don't know or care, and they're not going to be doing this to humans because of the risk and ethics (at least I wouldn't think so...but who knows?). I think in most areas you can push things too far, but just because some company decides to do that doesn't make the whole field of this a bad science.

hmmm....interesting
At least you caught how bad that type of cycle is and how damaging it is before it could have potentially happened in real life through gambling. It's a good lesson if nothing else. :)

What are you majoring in weezcake? I might be interested in going into genetic engineering/biotechnology. Still very undecided. :?

Pigs genome project and genetic engineering
It's not pointless Bubsa. Their genes glow green, which can be used to isolate and compare genes to regular genes in researching. But moreso, pigs have similar genetic makeup to humans, so that can be used to find, cure, and stop human diseases. Makes more sense spending money for that than on things like the US going to war and spending billions of dollars caused by a reason nobody seems to know yet..

The 10million dollars thing is separate from the Taiwanese researchers.

Pigs genome project and genetic engineering
I really love this stuff. Recently in Taiwan, scientists were able to extract from jelly-fish the protein that makes them glow flourescently, and put them into the nucleus of pig cells, where they would be born glowing green(like what was done to a rabbit awhile ago). Only a small amount of them were born, but those that were born were all green. Not just the outside appearance, but amazingly their organs are green too. Since their DNA is green, it will be easy to compare with other DNA to isolate and find problems and things. The article with a video and cool pictures is here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-p ... 605202.stm The other big thing is that researchers just got over 10million dollars towards getting the complete pig genome. This is used for more practical reasons, like engineering pigs to be more healthy for humans to eat, and a million other reasons like pointing out similarities in pigs and comparing them to humans to prevent disease. Article here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060114/ap_ ... NlYwM3NTM- So what do you guys think?

The YTMND war
Well you could google it, or go to wikipedia.org, or just go to the site itself. http://www.ytmnd.com It's basically a site where people post an image with music playing behind it to make funny things and follow fads and stuff. It's really hard to explain without seeing the site.

lumbridge caves???
I'm pretty sure that just happens when the light goes out. There might be bats or something that jagex wants to say to make it more rpgish, but there's not really anything literally chasing and attacking you. It's just set so you get hit 1's rapidly. I think.

Sandwitch Lady STOPS autoers
Seems like a continuous war. Soon enough the autoer people will just update their program so people can keep autoing, then jagex will come out with new random events, and the cycle keeps going on and on.

My BEST pixel so far.
I'd sketch a few people standing and in different poses to get a better feel for how someone really stands, that posture looks kind of fake to me. And like someone else said about the lighting, it doesn't look like he fits in at all with his background. It's dark everywhere else but he's all shiny and lit up. Might want to work on the shoes next time and how the scims are held, but other than that it looks pretty good. The background I especially like.

- I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!
Offcourse you do :P I just had to give the typical generic response. So do you have a link to anywhere with all of your sigs and art you've done all in one place? I remember some stuff you've done, but I can't remember them too well.

Welcome back, I remember you. :P

The YTMND war
The whole scenario's pretty interesting, but I can't see anything happening out of this 'war.' I remember seeing that "lindsay lohan doesn't change facial expressions" thing on ebaums, then thinking that ytmnd would be mad about that. Sure enough, I went there and there were all of these new ytmnd's against it. I go to both sites, and don't really care what happens, because nothing really can happen out of it.

Smartme's back!
You can runecraft mixed runes, kind of complicated, but nobody really does it. Check tip it's rc guide on it. That or buy a mud staff, which gives both water and earth when you cast spells. But anyways, welcome back. I remember you pretty well. :)

MMMM.. PEACHES
Two natures for the whole inventory of bones.

What nobody noticed about the magic update
That doesn't have to do with any gp being created. I'm talking about the possibility of a cutdown on the major intake of gp brought into rs. Yeah, but that's minor. Out of the tons of alches done there, only people who can't afford natures take that route. It's ridiculously slow doing that, and a waste of time, I guess unless you're doign something else with the screen to the side and alch the whole inventory of one item when it turns green. But I doubt too many people do that. Still, that doesn't really have to do with what I'm talking about. with this happening more people would runecraft, in search of a larger profit. this would cause the essence to bounce back up to what they are now, lowering the profits. with lowered profits there would be less runecrafters, lowering the price of essence. it would be a neverending cycle :P It doesn't matter if essence doubles to 80 gp or even more. They're still making profit runecrafting. So anyways, if there is an effect, it won't be for awhile, and that's only if people keep using that place to alch at, which Shiva seems to think won't happen, and I'm still unsure of. I think that people are so distracted by the rewards they're actually thinking that they're getting something worthwhile out of all of the runes that they're wasting.

What nobody noticed about the magic update
I basically posted this in a few lines somewhere else, but I'll explain in detail here. Look past all of the rewards and fun (or lack of, depending on how you liked the update), and this is what jagex's plan was to reduce inflation. I find that it worked. Basically normally when players alch, they get aroudn 768 gp from each yew long. Not anything new. But now members are using up all of their natures they would normally use to high alch at the minigame place in hopes of getting these shiny new rewards. The thing is, compare the two. A nature can bring in 768gp to the economy, or we have the new minigame's impact. 2 gp. Yep. A player only brings in an average of 2 gp to the game now from each alch. People generally at the game will alch the 15's and 30 gp choices. Close enough to 20gp on average per nature. We keep 10% of what we make, so we get around 2-3gp per every nature. The rest goes to 'maintaining runescape stores' or whatever, aka - big money drain. Well there you go. Now that there's that option, the question remains of how many playeres will still continue to alch regularly compared to those that will waste their natures at the game. If there's significantly less natures used to alch yew longs, then there might be an economic impact to the whole game. Don't worry or anything, but it's still a potential impact. This has definitely been jagex's best move in reducing inflation in runescape.

SUPER Mage XP. Yes, SUPER.
Agreed, I would too. High alching is a few 10k's slower than the other methods per hour, but at least if you buy right you can keep 80-100% of what you spent compared to a 100% gp loss on the others. yup, thats the key to it, work smart not harder And this game pretty much tricks people into thinking these rewards are worth the loss of not alching anything. It pretty much gets people to alch at a much slower pace, while using up their own natures and getting back per nature instead of 768gp, 2gp on average (People tend to alch the 15's and 30's, about 20 on average gp, but you keep 10% so you keep 2 gp per alch). So basically it's jagex somewhat successful approach to eliminating a lot of inflation. And it works. And nobody noticed. ;)

What kind of personality do you have?
Hard to describe with me. I really do think I've got multiple personalities. At one end in big groups I hardly ever say anything, and feel really introverted. With one friend I'm pretty normal, talkative, etc. Any more people than that, if I don't know all the people very well, I lose most of my 'outgoingness.' Then at the other end, with my family at home I'm really outgoing and loud and stuff. I guess you could call that just regular being shy, lol. I wouldn't say so though. I just never have anything to say in those situations when a whole group is talking, I don't know why.
