Not really. I don't mind it when there isn't a big workload, since you have friends to talk to, but when things get hectic and every waking hour of the week (not weekends) starts revolving around school, it's way too stressful and I can't stand it at all. It was only like that a few weeks of junior year for me, but I couldn't stand it. I think I'll enjoy college though, even if there's a lot more work still, just because of all the fun to be had there.

I got it as a present ages ago on my old computer, but I remember my computer being too laggy to really handle it. It seemed like it woulda been fun to play though. :P

So what if they reach the price cap? I'm still perplexed that people see increased prices as a problem - when that's not the case. Your comment on blue phats being at 500million as being a waste - I have no idea how you can say that, since by owning a blue phat you're making millions a day by doing nothing - care to explain how that's in any way useless? Oh, and by the way, blue party hats should hit 2bil by January if current growth rates since rs2 came out continue.

Global warming's only risen temperatures a few degrees so far. It's hard to attribute kids not playing outside because it beign to 1-3 degrees hotter - as if that's the ultimate threshold we could take. A year ago 100k people played because it was one degree colder from less global warming? But with those 1-3 degree increases, man, it's just too much to take. 90 degrees we can take, but 92!? Out of the question.

And to prevent the one flaw of this, that being the level 3 pures, there could be an enchanted onyx necklace (not amulet) or something of that rarity/expense, so the legitimate low level pures won't have a problem. Or why not have the creature you summon have a level equivalent to random events? The level differs from a level 3 to a level 126 but still is strong enough to kill the person within enough rounds. That would kill a few birds with one stone. Make us walking random event creators.

Good ol rs1 viewpoint. :P I do like the thought behind it, and I at first thought it would be a good idea since it would only hurt level 3 autoers assuming you coudl only summon low level things in such places, but remember that there are all of those level 3 pure skillers that this would mess up. If there was a way to combat this, maybe have a very expensive summon-proof amulet that makes summoned monsters ignore you that every auto couldn't be equipped with, then it might work.

The only hint dropped that I noticed was about releasing a sequel to the initiate knights quests, with newer skirt armor, although I feel like I read that somewhere else already.

What I mean is, if I have a problem, I'll want to get over it, because I have so little time to actually be happy in my day that I won't spend it remembering my sad moments and crying. I didn't say girls have time, I even said I don't know where they find time to, supposedly, cry. Of course when a relative dies or something like that everyone will cry, boys, girls and transsexuals. There's no differenciation by gender for the ability to cry. I wasn't being sarcastic at all, my point is simple: People (men and women) don't cry (usually) because they are so busy that they don't have time to spend with themselves. But again, there are levels and levels of sadness. Everyone cries when a relative dies, but here I'm talking about crying over something as an unsuccessful job interview, or somebody being mean at you at school. I understand what you're saying but I still disagree - at least in my experiences when I need to cry it just happens and time isn't a factor in what my body does. If something hurts emotionally enough to make me cry I'm gonna cry regardless of whether I need to go to bed in 10 minutes because there aren't enough hours in the day. Maybe I don't know enough about it though - in the past few years I've only cried once because of relative's passing away.

I disagree, a very long time ago andrew posted on game news about a players death. not like i remember the name or anything but they did tell what had happened to him and his real life first name. possibly his rsn as well. but this was in the past before neopets etc took over. I know about that. That was the past though. Jagex was a different company back then.

If they did anything, it would be to remove him from the high scores - at least that's what they did with Anarith. I don't see Jagex honoring him or anything - it's not like them to.

Boys don't cry because they usually don't have time for it. I don't know where girls find days and days in their agenda to cry and be sad, honestly. I spend about 6 hours/day awake at home. In most of that time I have to study/do homework. In my spare time I want to be happy, or do something entertaining, not cry. Honestly that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, no offense. People cry for reasons normally. Not just because they have time for it. Even if that was so it wouldn't be the case. I don't know why you think in general guys don't have time but girls do - therefore they cry, like that's just a regular event like watchign tv, reading a book, crying, that you do when you have nothing else to do. I know some people just take 10 minutes or so to cry when a lot of things are going on, but not the way you're talking about. Unless you were being heavily sarcastic and I didn't notice.

You're doing it for a good cause, but this is a Don Quixote situation. The problem is on way too massive of a scale for your efforts to be worth doing. You'll still go ahead and spend a few hours reporting - maybe get closer to being a pmod along the way, but the visual-metaphor I'm getting is of someone with a fly-swatter running through a massive cloud of flies waving it around. Not much is getting done.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THEY ARE GOING TO CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO1 buys them for enjoyment anymore. People used to raise money just to afford a phat. Now its too much money to save up and people dont wanna waste time to do it. The dumb merchants have been buying and selling them back and forth to eachother for like a year now. Its gonna end soon enough. I dont care what that hilarious guy who thinks hes a god of merchanting says either. They crashed before they gonna crash again soon enough Party hats have been through a lot. I fail to see why you think this time that this particular price raise is doomsday for them to crash. Sure they jump up, and fall a tiny bit back, in a 5 steps forward 1 step back kind of thing because the merchanters get a little excited and overshoot prices, but a real crash? Not going to happen. Nobody buys them for enjoyment? Is that a problem? I find it hard to see how you can enjoy wearing a party hat as if it brings you pleasure or something. It looks nice, but enjoyment? It's a status shower and mainly it's great to have as an income maker. These 'dumb merchants' have been buying party hats and selling them for a lot longer than one year now - you don't need to say that as if comparing it to rats running in mazes or something. The only reason they would crash would be if jagex added something to majorly halt them (and judging my the massive money drain of construction not denting them that much, it would take a lot). So they're going to keep up their massive growth, people will continue complaining, and the world sees another day. :)

I'd first calm down. I know it must seem like a lot to you, but everyone in runescape goes through a similar thing. As to getting it back, maybe for now take a little break, then when you do want to try to get it back just do whatever you did to make money, and soon enough you'll have the whip back.

Trustworthiness could be one word for it, but if he keeps that up eventually he'll let someone try it on who won't give it back - I'd say naivety fits better. I kind of agree with Cdub on this one though. My closest friends have let me hold their phats for various reasons, and I don't find it necessary to tell the world in excitement. (Cdub, I bet this even furthers your case for this :P )

Yes, that's the kind found in a house at level 75 construction and requires the highest burners to be lit to get the full prayer percentage bonus. And yes, you can go to a friends house who has all that and use it, but he might want you to bring your own marrentils (2 per run) to keep the incense burning.

Since the suggestion to have a board solely for posting a thread per person about each of their houses didn't go through so well(yet?), and if everyone on general p2p made a thread about their own house for people to visit the board would get clogged, I figured why not start a thread for people to post their houses for people to visit if they want? For this to work, please try to stay on world 9 and in Rimmington. Otherwise it's up to the visitors to find out where you are. When you reply, state what level construction you are, along with a brief description of what makes your house unique and worth the visit of another player, maybe some pictures, just not too long.
