Who loves orange soda? :P I loved that show. I couldn't stand how they'd mess everything up either, but it made the show funny in that way. Now there's Drake and Josh which seems to be the modern day version of that show imo. I get the names confused, but one of the two is on SNL right now.

I'm as opposite as you can get to that ideology. I want to live long and see all the technology that comes out - I hope in my lifetime there will be things leaps and bounds ahead of what we have now. @Merc, I think if we think that way for everything, we won't get anywhere really. In most situations there are tons of 'what-if's,' and dwelling over every possible whatif just halts progress. I think we could coexist with underground bacteria anyways. Sure after the first discovery they would be treated like little bacterigods, researching every little detail about them, but after we see everything it's not as if the bacteria on mars would be any more special than bacteria on earth.

Yeah, I've found myself levelling herblore lately because of all the herbs I've been getting from miscellania. One thing you forgot to mention that was made easier is collecting the fungi for super energy pots. You can get the fungi, tele to house, use the canafis teleport portal to get to that bank, then run back down to the fungi area and recollect.

Supposively we're supposed to use crush style attacks when fighting people in armor, and these guys are walking armor, so I was just wondering if in this case using a dragon battle axe which is really slow but on crush would be more efficient than using a drag scim or whip on a regular attack mode. I plan on killing a lot of these, otherwise I wouldn't be asking such a small question. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows if it makes enough of a difference or not.

It seems to me that technology doesn't grow that fast when there isn't a pressing need for it. I mean in the 50's to early 90's everyone imagined the year 2000+ so differently than it was, with flying cars and hoverboards. Where are our flying cars we've been promised so long ago?! :( So yeah, unless there's a pressing need, I don't see it happening that fast. The only concerned people working on it are the scientists, and they're not getting enough backing up from governments for such huge projects to work as fast as promised.

I noticed that awhile back. I have no idea why they would block that word - someone says because of the no personal details rule, but it only makes things harder for regular players. We can't say, "hold on, the phone's ringing" But now people are obviously safe from predators, they can't say phone to ask for a phone number! Great job jagex. I mean when someone says fone they won't know what they predator's talking about, and therefore stay safe. Genius.

I really miss the rsc style look wearing party hats with the chain armor and matching sleeves. There were a lot less options of things to wear but it was cool in its own way. Btw, nice pics shorty. :) I'd post mine but I don't feel like hosting em right now.

Well they haven't done it with whips contrary to ... your belief, and they won't do it with dragon items, or any important items like that. If they did, yes, they woudl change prices to an extent depending on the drop rate. I don't get where you're going with this though, is it just a random question?

Don't take things personally. If you're at all referring to me, I said what you did was nice and all, only that it had nothing to do with karma. Don't take that as picking on you. If you believe you're right in any way and I'm wrong, say it - don't whimper about being picked on, which you weren't. Your idea of karma was. You're new to forums apparently, but there's a thing called debate - you can't present a silly idea without it being challenged.

I can't wait for this karma fad to leave these forums... No, what you did was not karma. I'd love to say nothing's karma, but on these forums that'd practically be blasphemy. So you gave a poor guy stuff because he was down. And you both felt better for it. Why can't you just leave it at that? The world doesn't owe you anything for your deed, nor should it. You should do nice things and not expect karma to give you back anything in return. That's why it's a deed. You did it without expecting anything back.

With my experiences if you raise your child right you shouldn't need to spank him/her in the first place. I think if the child has done something extremely wrong he/she can be spanked so he/she knows how bad it was, but only in rare cases, and not as a general punishment.

I mean think about what we're told it's founded on. Whether or not it really was founded on principles of liberty and freedoms (you seem to think otherwise) doesn't matter. What matters is that today those are the things we should still believe and try to keep instilled in a country. Once you let go of a freedom it's so hard to get it back.

On the front page on p2p I only see two topics relating to barrows. It doesn't need it's whole board. Can't you make a thread about tactics and stuff? There are things like merchanting and rares that easily would warrant a new board over one section of the p2p game but things are still fine all put into gen-p2p.

To me it's more the principle. Think back on what this nation was founded on. Sure this seems like a small thing to you, but if the government can take a step in this direction so easily, imagine what they're capable of slowly doing as people at every step say that they're ok because it stops terrorists and they don't want any terrorists attacking them. This country's becoming ran and controlled by fear again. Irrational fears of terrorists. And the government easily uses this tool to advance and probably keep advancing in any direction they want.
