I thought I was alone in being annoyed by the whole "must be karma!" idealogy everyone has nowadays. While I don't know anyone irl obsessed with the idea of karma, on the internet (especially these forums) people just mention it too much.

That's a quick fix, there isn't a need to give someone a job of putting in a few hundred censored words. Jagex did promise new versions of the game for different languages so I think it's safe to assume they're hiring for a German version.

I haven't changed that much since I started in Scapeboard. I think I became a lot more objective with posting and can type paragraphs off the fly about random things now, which I doubt I could have done back then. Probably helped with general internet etiquette too. Off the top of my head posters I miss seeing are probably swtkittn, sonsie, and... a bunch of vague names and memories I can't pull back into my head right now. :s

Also, I just gotta say, man does it feel great to see Nintendo hopefully reimerging as a force to be reckoned with and finally recognized again by people. I hope this momentum keeps up.

This won't give you any information to 'what essence are out there.' I don't know exactly what goal you're aiming to find out, but this forum is such a small minute percentage of rs players out there any numbers you get will have no relevance or significance to anything.

It just got locked temporarily for some security reason.

I'd still log on for TET events but nowadays I only log on for those and to do the weekly update, so I'd be pretty much done with the game (although right now I'm at a 0-3 hour per week playing time anyway).

Well back in my merchanting period a friend told me that on tip it to click the forums to go to scapeboard to buy/sell things on. From there on I was hooked. I just loved the huge flow of information and ideas from person to person.

Sounds like a great idea, I'd love to suggest it at my school if I knew of anything like it in the US.

Wow, what an overly pessimistic way to look at things... With every passion people have, if they suddenly lose it it's depressing. A minute percentage of a percentage choose to take their lives, which has no link specifically to the number of rs players rising. You need to change the way you look at things.

I think the price tag might cut away a lot of casual gamers, at least a ton of my friends who all own ps2's won't likely buy this I already know. I think it depends on how useful the extra space is - if it's really needed/useful or not (if I were to actually buy one).

Often procrastination is linked with perfectionists, although most don't realize that's why they procrastinate. Perfectionists like myself can't stand doing work unless they do it at the highest level of efficiency and perfection. Since most of the time with homework that's not really possible (since you're basically teaching yourself by doing it), by forcing the homework into a 'race against time' mode you're back into your perfectionist mode, and no matter what you do you're unable to do it perfectly since there isn't time, and subconsciously a ton of perfectionists stupidly set themselves up for that night after night. Of course distractions are a major role in it, but subconsciously it's about what I explained. No, I didn't make that up. I read it somewhere and it fits me pretty well.

For whom said that numbers are on your keyboard to be used, your right, but i still dont like them in names. Well my numbers mean something, but I can see why they're obviously annoying. I made AJL221893 for mostly everything I used since I first started using the internet (except with forums relatively recently) and realized a name like AJL221893 is just flat out annoying and hard to recognize/remember. Oh well. At least it keeps people from remembering my name and adding me asking questions and stuff. :P

I'm looking forward mostly to the upcoming Revolution (er..wii) announcements. Supposively there is a great secret about the rev that'll be revealled still, and I can't wait to see games being played in action. Besides everythign Nintendo, I'm kind of interested in what Sony has and about Spore, although we already know a lot about that game.

I think that width could be increased a decent amount as long as it doesn't stretch anything. Height should stay where it is though, because that makes threads taller then necessary and a lot more scrolling through threads because of tall sigs. I don't think there would be any problem in increasing the width though.

I find it amazing that there are not more people like Myself, Trixstar Bubsa and Frizoid coming out and not lowering ourselfs to giving sympathy a RULE BREAKER. If Trixstar came on tommorow and said 'Yeah sorry all, it was me and 2 mates playing my account, but its ok, I was only doing it for myself, no-one got hurt by it so thats ok right?' She would be a rule breaker and no better than ANYONE else who breaks the rules. I am a nice guy, and i rekon that there are a lot of nice people who run auto programs, or buy ingame cash, or sell ingame cash. But that does not push aside that he stole money from a company that provides fun for millions of people. So yesterday he was a great person and now his entire existence can be summed up in two words: Rule breaker? Yes he broke a rule, but that in no way is a characteristic or trait that can fit with a person in this case. For example, someone can do a stupid thing, but that doesn't make them a stupid person. You guys are so bent on principal you're blinded by the fact that he broke the rule and that's all you see. It's not about giving sympathy or anything, it's just him letting everyone know what happeend and people acknowledging it. He isn't asking for sympathy. (And by the way, Trixstar is a guy)
