Apparently it's intended for a future update, but was accidentally added in today's update, from what I've heard.

By lumbridge. I don't know if this is associated with the recent quest or if it's been posted yet, but apparently two penguins hiding under a sheep costume are lumbridge's newest residents. You can also talk to Fred the Farmer about it.

I can see it now. As the chicken stuck in a fishbowl appears, it drops to the ground, and rolls/floats away. :P Too bad you can't alch (or can you? I forgot) in the area where you're not walking on the ground surface. I'd love to see all the randoms with their own versions of swimming.

Not that there needs to be any solution to this, but a few years ago I came up with the idea that you can just trade your hat's tradability away for a lot of cash. The advantage would be that you still have the hat, the disadvantage would be that you're losing on eventual potential profit later on. This would help remove party hats(tradability) from the game (everyone thinks it's so important that this happens?), it would also lead to more inflation and make the tradable ones a lot more in price, but hey, it still has its pros. To the original idea though, it just isn't necessary. While it would help inflation, there's no need to mess up the healthy market going on like that. That would ruin the merchanting aspect of the game for so many players.

Change is bad right? The problem is that I, along with many of my friends, would LOVE to be on a tip.it world and see some of you guys ingame, unfortunately the lag on that server is insane (due to the distance from my house to the server). Seems a little unfair that because of this decision many people get the bad end of the stick. Because of ANY decision on ANY world people will get the short end of the stick. There's not one universal world that is lag free for everyone. World 9 was picked and compromised on because it was the best for the majority of players. Any world that it would be changed to would have the same problems for any certain group of people.

I agree with Merc. It's just not good. The strong images and the music go along well together, but other than that, the text the person made up is just stupid. Nothing goes together, and segways are just terrible. There doesn't seem to be any real point to it either, other than it just being a bunch of quotes and images pertaining to life in general. I saw this before and thought it was dumb. This time I stopped after the space thing because I just got annoyed with it. It says: "Space. It's a funny thing." "It's dark, it's cold, it's lonely." And? "But we all want out there. We all want to see it for ourselves." Sure, but those don't relate really. "We need to see to believe." Um...I can see space already... who says anyone doesn't believe in space? Or is this guy talking about somethign entirely different? "...all bring amazment to the eyes." Nice spelling. "But one question remains." One remains? No questions were asked in the first place. "Are we alone?" What's that have to do with anything??? It then went on to segway into scenes of destruction, and I just got irritated by it and closed it. Generally music and vivid images can make things seem a lot better and more powerful than they really are. This was just a bunch of randomness all pulled together and was pretty bad IMO.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but I said this on another forum about your idea: It's only worth it for like sharks. With anythign else, it's just not efficient enough. Time equals money, and even if you're burning 5-10% less, you're taking like 20-30% a longer time because of all of that walking instead of having a fire only 2-3 squares away. Time equals money, adn even if you're burning more the faster way, its still more efficient for the time you spend playing.

Should be great for easily getting there quickly to dharok though.

It seems that most people here are only looking at it from one perspective. That being that it isn't lawsuitable and it shouldn't have been taken down. That really isn't the issue, whether it was kept or not. The issue is that the article relied on only two minute details of banning errors to generalize in making jagex look like some terrible tyrant corporation. Forget about the whole lawsuit thing. The issue is that the article was heavily biased, and didn't give jagex's side a fair enough showing. When a writer doesn't give both sides of a case, it's persuasion. This article shouldn't have been made for the sole purpose of persuading people to be anti-jagex.

I usually always have boots of lightness and an ectophial on me.

Specifically the shade place would be good for trying to get the hit, since people usually train there anyways.

My thoughts too. :P Posts by merc in runescape sections here just look weird to me. :lol: I'd like to know why someone was quoted saying this though: I think the sights and interactions were overexxagerated compared to the real experience, but it was still a nice read, especially for those who don't have any idea what those types of games are about.

Online it seems most people use that dry bones guy, but only because he's the best at doing those stringed repeated powerslides called snaking. It's really annoying since it becomes a race over who can snake the best (pushing left-right-left-right-left-right) really fast, and most people who use dry bones use him because he's the best for doing that. So if you technically want the best, go with him. That's if you're able to snake. And if you don't want to have fun. But other than that, I'd go with any of the faster racers. Weight isn't factored online, but I think acceleration is. So I'd go with any fast racers like yoshi or toad or bones.
