I think the new spell list will come from the moon-clan people north of fremmenik. They've been mentioned many times to have their own type of magic.

Not to discourage you, by the way, but whatever the red party hat's price is now multiply by 4 or 5 to know what you'll need to have in half a year. Rares in general have had a growth rate of about 10x per year since rs2 came out.

There's plenty of evidence - you just have to find it if you don't believe it yourself on the internet. Fossils don't actually hold a good case for evolution. The reason is because evolution occurs with punctuated equilibrium, meaning that huge evolutionary bursts happen at once from some pressure to evolve and do it relatively quickly (now it still is over many, many years, key word being relatively), with huge gaps of time inbetween. That's why fossils don't exactly prove evolution. As I said, I don't remember specific examples of evolution so you have to look some up yourself, but isn't it kind of hard to see a fault in it? All species have mutations. When a species rarely gets a good mutation that gives it an advantage, it has a higher likelyhood of living over the other animals in its species. It passes this mutation down to its children, which in turn keep passing it down, and gradually the adaptation spreads dominantly and evolution occurs - it's happening now, and since we see adaptations all around us, it's kind of hard to argue it.

Ralvn, he wasn't whining. He gave a bunch of logical points to why you should stop doing something so unbeneficial. Really though, if it doesn't help yourself, and winning doesn't matter in this game, why waste the time of so many people by doing that? It's not like it's a big guilty pleasure to pixelate-burn their stuff wasting their time?

Does anyone know if level 2 clues can be sold to the pirate seller in exchange for 8? If that works, seems like it would be a great way to get pieces of eight.

I've heard of it taking 6-8 hours on a few people. Personally I've been here around 2.5 hours myself - it takes a really long time.

A few things. I'd like to know which set of clothing to go for from the pirate place to match with a few things without buying them (shading reasons, it's hard to tell from a sprite). So if anyone has any, could you post em? Also if anyone has pictures from the sewing guy's items of the pirate hook attached to a crab gauntlet, I'd like to see that if possible.

The only advice I have for you that hasn't been said is to make sure you get enough protein. In my day I drink a boost nutritional drink which is 15 grams and a protein drink in milk which is 48. Besides meat you can also get a decent amount from peanut butter and milk and some cheeses. I'd shoot for 70-100 grams of protein a day. It's not completely necessary, but it helps a lot.

I think you need somewhat of an imagination for reading to be enjoyable. If you're painting vivid enough pictures while you read of what's going on, books are like mental movies, and shouldn't be boring that way. Assuming you're reading something you enjoy in the first place.

I hate it when people say zombies aren't alive. Well they're 'the walking dead" aren't they? Not that something that doesn't exist could be alive anyway. Jeeze, tell your friend not to take it personally and not to expect so much from a game. There's no reason to get so upset. With parties at houses unless there's the right chemistry between a bunch of friends that know each other together, it falls apart. People are tired of the same gimmicky features like dungeons and dueling. You have to either be a great host or the people there have to be friends to keep an event going. Again, there's no need for your friend to get all emotional over that, and try explaining that to her.

In some boards like the market boards and forum games boards your posts don't add to your post count since you're not really making a real post in them. As to not being able to find a post by your friend, how are you searching, and are you sure you're doing it right?

Including breakfast a good 40 minutes (I'm not a morning person :P). When I wake up I'm pretty much a living zombie - it takes so long for me to pick out what to wear, and half the time I just purposely fall back into bed for awhile. After I have my energy/vitamin drink thing and start driving I finally get alert. That's just during school days though. Now after a good 10 hours sleep every night I wake up fine. :P

Mine would have to be in February of '04 when I got home late on my birthday to find out I won a green party hat from a raffle from a retiring scapeboard member, who, by the way, I'd love to remember the name of, so if anyone can remember that massive raffle, lemme know. :P

It's been suggested and declined tons of times. There are times where video game interest peaks like during E3 but normally there aren't enough topics in off-topic to really warrant getting a new board, and it would probably be pretty inactive IMO.

Well if you bought the party hat before you bought the skill in 99, you could wait with the party hat 2-3 months, then sell it and buy two skills to 99. :P

It kinda depends on the person and their level of 'addiction' whether a game's good or not for em. I wouldn't generalize mmorpg's as a whole as being bad, although on the majority they're more negative than positive time-wise for the average person. By the way, is anyone else like me? I hardly exercise, maybe a few hours a week but only for muscle gaining and some tennis here and there, but the majority of my time I'm pretty sedentary. The thing is, I'm really, really thin for my height. 5 foot 10 and about 110 lb's. It just doesn't make any sense that I put on no weight, eat a ton of junkfood, and barely move at all. Probably my metabolism I guess (sorry for my little tangent :P ).

Naturally for some reason a large majority of runescapers are huge skeptics/conspiracy theorists for some reason, so you see all over the place people claiming the ring of life doesn't work for, since in their experiences they're not getting rare drops. It's an illogical conclusion - just because your luck is increased doesn't mean you're guaranteed to have luck in the first place. If you have a 6 sided dice and you need to roll a 1 and replace it with a 5 sided dice and need to roll a 1 to win, you're still not guaranteed anything, and if you don't get a 1, you still had a higher chance. You just didn't get lucky.

It's probably a mixture. People buy it as a status symbol because it shows wealth. I'm sure for the same price nobody at all would buy an untradable hat, so you know everyone who buys them does it either for the future payoff or as a status symbol because they have enough money to. People do buy party hats because they look good - otherwise rares like half wines and pumpkins would cost more than party hats, which in itself answers your question. Otherwise they'd cost a lot closer in price.
