qbd 100% drop?
When did we get players who don't research things? wait since Player A could ask Player B about content? Didn't you read that the QBD doesn't get killed? You shouldn't be getting bones or hides.

qbd 100% drop?
Again. I never said nothing about "no longer being able to fight her." honestly I expect jagex to put her on a weekly timer with a statement being made along the lines of "the dragonkins enchantment obviously couldn't have lasted forever and certainly not for this majestic yet horrifying beast so for those adventures who dare to face her you'll find she'll tend to shake her grogginess every week/month and must be subdued again."

qbd 100% drop?
I never said 'death'. Maybe your just not taking time to read and piece together what I said. I pretty much summed up what happens when you fight bork only. Instead, in my minds eye mind you, the QBD would involve a longer cut scene showing her FALLING BACK TO SLEEP and then maybe the passage way to the coffers being uncovered.

qbd 100% drop?
Thinking logically I would honestly assume it would drop nothing and a cut scene would ensue where the camera would pan out at the queen black dragon lets out a tired bellow with withering flames and smoke coming from its mouth. She would then slightly stretch, lie her head down and go to sleep and the screen would fade to black. From there a message would pop up congratulating you and subduing the queen black dragon. After clicking through the message it would then mention something about finding another doorway that was previously blocked by her giant body which would lead to the coffers.

qbd 100% drop?
true, but that would mean there was a limit to how many times you could fight her, unless she has some sort of instant healing. i just find it hard to believe jagex would make it possible to chop her horns of. oh well, for all i know you might be correct Well I think once you have one horn, in this case a one-off trophy to recognize her defeat, you wouldn't need more than one. I mean it's not like you're going out to wrestle the proverbial alligator and pull it's tooth out. Continuing with the proverbial statment - Then by happenstance find him again as your traveling and tell yourself, "oh hell naw I'm going to restle that beast again and get me an alligator tooth necklace!" After defeating the QBD the first time I'm sure getting by with a horn and few scales for subduing her would be suitable. As for a bit of the stereotypical mammoth sized task of dragon-slaying which in this case is putting her to sleep we get to sneak into her coffers for some loot as a bonus for defeating her.

Did you see how many horns were on her head? I'm sure she wouldn't miss one let alone notice it missing... For a while at least.

qbd 100% drop?
that sounds interesting, but i dont think that will be the case, remember you wont be able to kill it so you probably wont be able to get any of her body parts. :P I disagree with that thought. I would like to imagine that after fighting a beast so grand and monstrous we would be able to cut off a horn as for a trophy to flaunt against the dragonkin. I would think that whatever we received fro the loot chest would be something generic or eventually obtainable from the ge. i still doubt you can get any of her horns tbh, but i guess only time will tell :P Heck I'm sure jagex might even make it where it drops hardened black dragon scales that would be crafted into you're black dragon hide sets to give it better stats. That would be nice.

Recharging Rapier
2m might seem more time efficient for most players, but when you get up there in prestige you can end up doing 2 occult or higher floors in roughly 40-50 minutes max (including time wasted finding a team) and probably hit 20k tokens.

Dragon horns maybe? Could be crafted into like a barbarian horn that when blown gives you the passive buff mentioned?

I am really hoping the QBD release doesn't require too many supplies or is that hard for the max gear/skills player. I keep thinking about this and the fact I just bought steads and rage fires which put my bank at a lowly 3.5m. I may have to dedicate myself to camping ganos or some other money making method in case I need to buy supplies. I remember doing nomad when he came out and the multitude of attempts I wasted supplies amounted to at least 7m in losses.

I've noticed there are some things that are much better appreciated ad played on adjustable/wide screen mode. Livid farm is one of those pieces of content as well as dungeoneering. I just can't stand doing something any more that involves a lot of panning around and would rather cut my losses doing so.

24k tokens until I can buy T10 Berserker. Next up in the chain of goals is Chaotic Maul. Kind of a pointless buy with Goliath Gloves, but it'll have its fun uses nonetheless. Maybe I should switch out cm with cs? Anyways its looking like I wont get the tokens tonight because I'm about to head off to work. I'll probably get it in the morning when I get home because that should be two high level warped floors if they go right. On another note I bought steadfast and ragefire boots sinking my cashstack down to a measily 1m with about 2.5m in the coffers. Oh and if I didn't say so earlier I broke my prom 2h for a primal battleaxe because I like the faster transitioning between maging and meleeing. I'm sure I can hear some of the efficiency [bleep] out there are crying blasphemy in the wind, but they'll find a way to survive in the cold bitter night. I took the time to evaluate my goals and switch Chaotic Maul with Chaotic Staff because I know the staff will see more use than the maul. Then I saw the FKS and thought it too would see more use so I switched them as well. Damn since Goliath Gloves Chaotic Maul got crapped on...

Buy steads on 2x loot weekend?
Got for 35.7m... Not so bad knowing it saved me about 8m.

Buy steads on 2x loot weekend?
I might have to go nab some. I really hate spending that much on such a frivolous item, but I've been wanting to get all the boots for a while.

Buy steads on 2x loot weekend?
Should I do it? I think I will. Any projections as to what the immediate buy cost might be right now?

18-5-2012 The Evolution of Combat: Beta Sign-Up
Why must you relate this to SOF? You shouldn't even be doing that because you are one sole voice against a change no one else has even experienced and seen put into effect. SOF was something we all got to see and experience because we got to see how it was gambling and offering free shots to win items players would otherwise be unable to obtain. I can't stand how people see an upcoming update and cry foul before the mechanics of the update are even experienced. You can run with the idea that jagex tends to over-hype and deliver watered down concepts, but don't relate it to such an atrocity as SOF. On another note it would be better off to see things from the p2p perspective first because there are so many more going into combat that I would assume they'll want to incorporate into their combat rework and balancing such as weapons, specials, special effects, foods, familiars, p2p pking, dueling, minigame compatibilities.

[15-May-2012] Stomp the Bosses!
I got none of them. Not very appealing in my opinion, but more variety to the cosplayers and what not so its good regardless.
