  1. I just want to know, how much relationships have you had and how long have they lasted? You were just craving for advices a month ago and now you're Dr. Love?
  2. I saw Prestige just now. I don't know if its the not-so-good mood that I had, or it's because I had too high expectations. But the movie was pretty normal to me. It didn't really live up to the hype that I've read and heard about.

I've been trying to use homerow, but my I get bored easy so I switch back to the barbaric sort of typing. Oh, and there was a program called All the Right Type at school that I used.
  4. Good story. I even remember it from grade nine when I read it for school. I don't know much about England though, sorry :(

Werd. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them, I just don't have any favourite.
  6. Jim Carrey isn't going to be in this movie. Neither will Jennifer Aniston.

The median age of death is about 82 years, and according to the statistics people get married at approximately 26-27 years old. But surely some people die before that, some may die a day after the wedding, on a general scale the data is quite trustworthy as it samples all age groups. Link? I know only the females are set at above 80. Can't reach that gold anniversary if their spouse is dead can they...

Does that include people who died before their 50th anniversary?
  9. Did anyone see the new South Park episode? It featured the Wii :D Cartman: "It's like waiting for Christmas...times a thousand."

What makes you think it's only a man and a woman? I'm talking about true love, not lust. What, so true love can't be a man and a man or a woman and a woman? Please, there must be a mistake in communication, because I didn't think you were against us in the homosexuality debate. That, and I'm hoping not to start another homosexuality debate. Whoa man, no, I am not against homosexuals. There's already this thread talking about that. Let's not drag it here.

  13. And in addition to why people is expecting so much of the Wii is because one main reason - the DS. People thrashed it before it came out. The touchpad is a gimmik, blah blah blah. PSP will own it cause of the video capabilities and 1337-455 graphics. What happened? DS has about twice of the PSP sold. And PSP is mainly for homebrew, so Sony can't even break even with the software.

True love? It's something a man and a woman feel when they take their admiration with each other to another level. But then there's the sort of love you feel for your friends and your family.
  15. Lol, you don't have to jump around and move like an idiot to play. Besides, even with a conventional controller the most casual-gamers (Nintendo's target market) still jump around when playing with video games. That's why Nintendo made it like that in the first place. Case in point: http://us.wii.com/soft_loz_tp.jsp Any of those videos.

  17. I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who posted here for taking the time to do so. And I want to say sorry for bothering as well. It turned out it was their end who were having problems as when I turned on my comp after school, It's not as fast as before, but much much better than the 36kbps I was getting.
  18. Happy birthday man!
  19. The first few times that I called, they said that they are receving slow connection from mine. They said 'they'll fix it' and the last time I called, the guy said that it was my end that has problems. And even so, they *should* have sent a technician by now. My ISP is Sympatico. And yeah, I already tested that Cameron, still didn't work.

I didn't bother getting a costume (though I did want a sombrero and a poncho) since I have too much work to actually go out on a school night. Not to mention that most of my friends aren't going. Halloween is awesome anyway. Just browse through the kitty-costumes in the halls! So, who's going for a candy harvest tonight?
  21. I have DSL. I don't have a router. I only have one computer connected. I did the bandwidth test in speakeasy.net/speedtest and when it does go through (sometimes, it just stays on the loading part), I got 36 kbps down and 400 kbps up. I already contacted them at least 5 times like I said, but they said they don't have a problem on their end. I also have to connect and disconnect constantly the ethernet cable before I can get the connection. I also ran Spybot and Ad-Aware already, and got nothing.
  22. Alright, after some more looking into, these two are the easier set to compare. http://www.indians.org/welker/howrabbi.htm "How Rabbit Brought Fire to the People" (Creek) http://www.indians.org/welker/firstfir.htm "First Fire" (Cherokee) The story of the first fire for each tribe. I'm still searching for some some more options, maybe a creation story from the Aztecs and some other civilization.
  23. If you have the whole MS Office, use MS Publisher instead.
  24. My normal speed is about 1.5mbps. Now, I'm down to 36 kbps. I contacted the ISP at least 5 times about this, and they can't come up with anything. They said it's fine on their end, so I guess it's my computer's fault. But the thing is, when my connection got crappy 2 weeks ago, the night before, it was working perfectly. Before we switch ISPs, I Just want to make sure there's nothing on my comp. that is slowing down the Internet. 25. You know, there's a fine line between being strictly helpful to just being downright abusive. My parents are fair most of the times. It's a friend that has stricter parents. Her mom is alright, but her dad treats her like a kid when she's already 16. Yesterday, he just told her that she's going to some excursion with her brother today. He didn't even bother asking first, just flat out told her that she's going. Fortunately, her mom and her aunt said she shouldn't go because of some of the things that happen in there. I still haven't heard from her since last night, hopefully, she gets to stay home and not forced to go.
