Miss Teacher a B... a Boy
They made fun of every person who use rehabs as a back up. And the recent controversies about female teachers having sex with their students. I think the one before that was much better though. The explanation Cartman gave was just gold. Not to mention Bush's

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
You know what I just noticed? PC owns. Other than Halo 3 (which will come to PC, but probably not til 2009-2010), we pretty much have all the best Xbox360 "exclusives" (Alan Wake, Bioshock, Gears of War, Splinter Cell 5), a few PS3 "exclusives" (UT2k7 etc.) and we get all the best multi-platform games (Assassin's Creed, Oblivion, GTA4 (will come to PC)). And all our own exclusives (sucks that we lost Half-Life 2, sucks hard). But we still have pretty much all the RTS's, we have the best FPS's, and we get the all the best games from other platforms, aswell as heaps more versatility in our machine. Yeah that's so true. So I don't have to buy an X360 to play Assassin's Creed

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
Yeah, I read that. And according to Joystiq: X360 - 48 Exclusives (48% First Party) PS3 - 35 Exclusives (51% First Party) Wii - 40 Exclusives (35% First Party) I thought Wii is the one supposedly to depend on first parties? :) Oh, and I edited in everyone who voted so far.

Marriage and Kids?
Whoops, sorry. I != American. If we take it even further, I != Western. I've lived here for about four years and I don't consider myself 'westernized' because I'm proud of my heritage. English is my fourth language and I still hold my initial citizenship. And to tell you the truth, I can't be any happier that I am not born in a Western country. The lack of culture of the people I have met is disturbing to me. If we go even further, you disturb me. You assume that I want to get married to 'sing praises to the lord.' Did you even read the story I posted in the beginning of this thread? My parents got married initially to a judge - twice, not a church. They went through that twice before they even went for the church. Me? I want to go through marriage to show how much I love the woman I'm with. I want to go through the vows, not the songs, to show my true feelings. Besides, why would I want to go through a wedding to just sing praises to the Lord? I already do that during Sundays

Marriage and Kids?
Sorry Bubsa for missing this. The bachelor life for me is 'sad' because it's lonely. Everytime someone tells me a story of how s/he wants to be a millionaire and so forth and that they don't have time to have a family, I get turned off. I don't think I can appreciate what I have in life unless I can share it with somebody I love.

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
@Adam: I think it's more efficient this way. At least we can see who voted for what. For people who have a lot of spare time in their hands, there's an author that applies disruptive technology with the Wii; especially in this article. I think it's very interesting.

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
Yes... AAA games are coming out for PS2. Not to mention new versions of the console. So why exactly would people want to buy a $500-600 PS2? You're overhyping the launch for PS3 a bit. Here's a break down: Resistance: Fall of Man - Yep, I'll give you this one. Tony Hawk's Project 8 - Not an exclusive. Rainbow 6: Vegas - Not an exclusive. Call of Duty 3 - Not an exclusive. Need for Speed Carbon - Not an exclusive. Ridge Racer 7 - Take this too. F.E.A.R. - Not an exclusive. Not to mention there's a free version of this available. Oblivion - Not an exclusive. Madden 07 - Not an exclusive. So FoM and Riidge Racer?

Spoilers!
Books, movies, shows, etc. Can a spoiler spoil the whole thing for you? Personally, no. I can even remember the times where I read a Hardy Boys story and read the last few pages to find out the crook while I'm in the beginning because I just don't want to bother. I read the whole thing of course, but I just get tempted to find out asap. Even when the 'Snape Kills Dumbledore 606' meme occured, it didn't bother me at all. I knew about it, but it didn't spoil the whole thing for me. I consider the book as one of the most enjoyable of the series. Like most, I have an exemption. For the movies I watch with a good friend of mine, I avoid spoilers like a plague. I don't want to ruin the movie because I want to share the movie from the beginning to the end. I want to be able to genuinely laugh and wow as scenes unfold. But for everything else, go ahead, tell me about it :)

Marriage and Kids?
Consider this as a step up from the teenage angst that clouded these forums recently. I'll share a personal story with you guys :) My parents got married 3 times. No, they never got divorced once. How and why? Well, it started when they were still in university. They were in a relationship long enough to want to get married. The problem was that their parents would probably dissuade them from doing so. So what they did was get married through a judge without letting my grandparents know. Several months after, they graduated from university. They introduced each other to their parents. My grandparents were happy and were expecting them to get married, not knowing they already have. So to make the folks happy, they made another quick ceremony through another judge. Or something like that, my memory gets a bit blurred around this part. Even though my parents got married twice already, they weren't satisfied because not one was considered 'enough' to be an actual wedding. So when they had time, they planned another wedding. But this time, it was in a church and more friends and relatives were able to come. Point? Nothing really. It's just on topic. Now my question is, do you think you're going to get married? If so, when and are you going to have kids? If not, why? My personal opinion on marriage has always been a 'must.' I can remember the times when I was younger that I naively thought that everyone has to get married to have kids. Even though that's not the case, the mentality of being a husband to be a father has never left me. 'What I want?' Three kids and a beautiful wife. I don't want to be too old when my children gets into their teenage years so I want to have one when I'm around 27. If I'm lucky, the girl I'm currently with can accept me as her husband. But these things are a part of a link. I need to have a decent career before anything else. One thing that my dad has always reminded me is that 'school first.' He said that I want my family to be financially stable. How about you?

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
I know, but Microsoft has been pushing the pedal harder recently. With Lost Oddysey and Blue Dragon coming out and all to attract the Japanese market (RPGs). Not to mention some of the lost exclusives from Sony (GTA + Assassin's Creed). Not to mention that the PS3 will be competing against PS2 in a way as well. IIRC, silver PS2s are coming out. Oh, and I will buy Xbox 360 just to play Assassin's Creed if possible. I need to buy my own HDTV first though :(

Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
Keywords: Nintendo Sony Microsoft Console Games Gaming Bet PS3 is releasing one month from now and the Wii two days after (November 17 and November 19). People tend to change camps when the going gets tough. So let's have this simple poll to keep track of people's initial choices; as I'm sure a year from now, there will be discussions and arguments about whichever is winning/losing. To participate, just copy + paste the 'Option' you agree with the most. [--------------------] Option A 1. Xbox 360 2. Playstation 3 3. Wii -How2PK Option B 1. Xbox 360 2. Wii 3. Playstation 3 I don't want Sony out of the console market, but I don't think that they have a chance of getting the top rank. Microsoft has been impressive with the Xbox 360, especially with the Xbox Live (unfortunate in Japan though). However, Wii is the most promising because of many reasons including its price and new controls. Forget what I said about there ^ I changed my mind. I don't think PS3 will get beaten by X360 this round, but I do think that Wii will still come up on top. Put in which option letter you chose to make it easier for me to put you under that category ^^ __________________________________ Xbox 360 Advantages Proven Online Capability (Xbox Live) HD-DVD Add-on ($200) Backward compatibility with 267 Xbox games (requires hard drive) Two Options (Premium / Core) Xbox Live Arcade DVD Playback HDTV Capable 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio Microsoft XNA Disadvantages Online Capability Fee ($ 50) Core System titled as the 'Tard Pack' Wi-Fi adapter costs $100 __________________________________ Playstation 3 Advantages Integrated BluRay player Backward compatibility with all PS1 & PS2 games Two Choices Free Online connectivity HDTV capable 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio USB mass storage Online Browsing Capability Integrated Wi-Fi capability Bluetooth Yellow Dog Linux Disadvantages Lack of Rumble Most expensive next-gen console __________________________________ Wii Advantages Wii Channels Backward compatible with all GameCube software and most peripherals Nintendo DS connectivity Free Online connectivity WiiConnect24 Cheapest next-gen console Built-in speaker on controller 512MB built-in flash memory USB mass storage Opera Browser Virtual Console Online Browsing Capability Integrated Wi-Fi capability Bluetooth Disadvantages Only EDTV-compatible (No HDTV) Lack of Ethernet Port Only Dolby Pro Logic II Audio

Activists and Fur Farms
Gosh, finally, a thread I can stomach. I understand what the activists stand for, but they could've at least thought things through. What did they do? Instead of the compny killing those minks, the minks will just end up dying themselves. Then what? The company will just order in a bunch of them again. It doesn't do anything but disrupt the economy that provides jobs for the people there.

Apinagez NO LONGER answers your questions
Dot. And if you can rank the pointlessness of this thread from 1-10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 the only definite correct answer, what would it be?

I posted that at DW in June. I get reminded of Animal Farm everytime someone mentions N. Korea. What a [cabbage] hole.

Meal Ideas
You can always be a comedian and get some pizza to pull this act: "Hey, did you make this?" "No." "So you got it delivered?" "No, it's not delivery, it's delicio." I've been saving it for personal use, but I'll share to help someone get some cookie points. Ladies absolutely love big, lame, corny jokes. :P It's in their DNA.

Meal Ideas
I approve of misplacedme's suggestion because I've been eating it since the dawn of time. Personally though, I like chicken adobo better than beef just for the taste of the skin, not to mention the pork version of it. Oh, and like most Filipino cuisine, it's not as good if you don't eat it with rice. Meals tend to be a bit too strong without it. edit: I don't approve of evaporating all the sauce though.
