Okay, I despise PETA as the next guy, but this little tidbit isn't actually that horrible. Have you guys been in your local animal shelters? I used to work near one and it's overwhelmed by the amount of animals they receive. A lot more pets are abandoned than being adopted. It's sad, but the animals are worse off than if they're left in the streets. There's just not enough money being passed around for animals to make enough space. It's all about having purebred pets... Blame the breeding mills, morons who don't think about the financial burden of having pets, not getting their pets spayed/neutered, etc.

There is nothing wrong with the LoZ games. they are always well made, and have always been fun. Indeed, I enjoyed OoT, Minish Cap and Link to the Past. But I couldn't finish Phantom Hourglass and TP didn't even interest me. The "puzzles" might be considered clever if I was ten again. Since this is going to the DS, I'm sure I'll end up trying it out. But I'm expecting it to be another PH where the touchscreen is the main "upgrade" Dizzle is right, Nintendo is the only company allowed to rehash the same thing over and over again w/o receiving any criticism. Sure you'll argue that they *try* to make it different, but it's basically the same go through mazey-buildings and save Zelda. I'd prefer if Nintendo introduces new IP than keep milking their cashcow(s).

I think that the gameplay should fit the storyline. COD is about normal soldiers being heroes. So using a health bar would be useful. Halo is a sci-fi, hence the regen would be excusable. Besides, the gameplay between the two are hugely different. In COD, it's impossible to take on 3 players at the same time unless they're mentally disabled. In Halo 3, you can take down a whole team if you know what you're doing. Uhhh no. Maybe if the team is absolute [cabbage], but from my days of playing MLG customs most if you ran into 2 guys and you didn't have some sort of huge advantage over them (like a power weapon) you would be screwed. They have double/triple the firepower you do. omg omg MLG customs you must be so hardcore

Would health bars be any better for a game like CoD? IMO, yeah. Take a look at Battlefield 2.

COD really shouldn't be using regeneration. It's ridiculous how they try to be "realistic" and yet you're like some Spartan that could regen life by crouching in a corner.

I don't know about rogues, I tried *really* hard to like the class but I just couldn't. I even rerolled twice (Blood Elf first, then Undead) to see if it was just a racial thing. But no dice. I even browsed the forums to see what discussions there are on the survivability of the class. I play an hour or two a day on average and I can't spend half of that running back to my body. Now I'm back to hunter. It was either that or pally, but it looks like you can't spit without hitting a paladin in the server. Besides, it is so fun having a pet.

this is basically the same as streaming HD video through your ISP, so I wouldn't doubt that you'll need fast DL speeds to make it happen.

the cause of the RRoD is because there's something inside the 360 that doesn't connect properly. the towel trick melts the inside (kinda) and forces the circuits to connect properly. that's as far as i understand. i think that if (and only if) you know what you're doing, you really should force an RRoD. it's disgusting that MS refuses to fix something that they know exists for free.
