  1. I find it strange that the number of 99 dung'ers hasn't overtaken runecrafting by now (although it is pretty close). But I think the biggest reason more people are getting 200m dg is because they get to 120 then realise they are already half way and they have the tougher half done. 1-99 dg is harder than 100+ worse teams and only 2 binds ;S so its accually kinda difficult for 99 and maybe thats just cuz i did it b4 occ but 13-104m exp has motivation of level ups and ranks on hs compared to 13-200m just being a bit meaningless b4 then
  2. agreed- thiers still pro nonkeyers still around as well and a pro nonkeyer can learn to key easily. I predict in summer it will liven up as well.
  3. thats what my friend said bout 200m cooking.....just cooking when wanting to afk and taking as long as it takes instead of grinding it. But more people have motivation for dg and spending hrs on it compared to the people causally getting cooking to 200m
  4. um im pretty sure that this will happen within like 6 months...with cooking thiers a small dif between people with 100m and people with 200m exp but theiers over 500 people with 100m dg that could easily get it to 200 in a month or 2 if they felt like it + lots of people do dgs on occasion will eventually get 200m.
  5. yea some people change names to redicoulos things... anyway yea rs is alot of hrs for all 99s or a 200m and then after its just about going for 200ms or just doing whatever u feel like in game... when i hit 1b exp it will not be that special and when i make it to 2b it will prob have hit at least 50 players + so yea competition not so much anymore but i play for my friends and still enjoy to get exp against people around the 875-930m exp mark.

With mining it saves 5.5 hours on mining and takes 4 or so hours to fill. (Mining is a bit different to agility and firemaking because urn xp is not doubled) Maybe if could store alot more than that it would be used or if everyone had good ba connections and was good at ba sc u can get many many pts and then use them all at once(tho its not worth it for training only cashsaving.) with ba u have to keep alternating ba skill ba skill ba skill so harder to keep focused on goal cant play ba for a month and have double exp the next.... urns for mining is sorta useless but if mining/superheating its not that worth it and if mining/afk then it mens mining is afk so its better definately to use on the first 2. Idk for longterm training i think the lil amount of exp stored is why its annoying to use to keep interuppting goal to play ba
  9. blah ba sucks i used ba for mining 96-98 tho it was kewl wouldnt use it for agil/fm to 200m tho if bored an play ba yea its not a waste of time no. kinda same with sc could just use those hammers on smith /con/craft it would save some gp but wouldnt do it to 200m...like for 99s
  10. Don't really know much about dungeoneering so correct me if I'm wrong, but with a really good team it would be 2-3 dungeons per hour which would be (at 1m per dungeon) 2-3m per hour. When you said "1 to 2m per dungeon" I assume this is split between the players (i.e. 250k ea) as 1m each would just be insanely gracious". What is the xp/hr for dungoneering? 250k xp/hr? If so then thats 2-3m spent per 250k xp which means 200m would cost 1.5-2.2B. At 2m per dungeon that'd be 3-4.5B. Even at 200k (and not 250k) it would be 1.9-2.8B to 200m at 1m per dungeon. 1m per dungeon isn't too bad of a price for a 200m. I guess dungeoneering really is a skill (and no longer minigame) as it can be buyable :P And lets not forget your team mates would make 100s of m for getting 200m. I'd really like to see you do this Yeah of course thought about that but I think I might prepare for new skills instead, 200M in all skills is a never ending goal unless they decide to stop making new skills and never know when runescape is going to end. Also thought about getting 200M in all skills in rsc but still long road to go. I hope that was sarcasm because getting 200m in all skills is hard enough, but doing it twice over is just crazy. Doing it on classic is even crazier. If anyone could do it, it would be you, but the supply just isnt there. You'd have to be completely self sufficient meaning skills like prayer, herblaw and crafting would take literally ages. yea that would make it about 5-15gp/exp depending on his system which is pretty fair considering the speed of the skill not extreme like herb/con but not so slow either...His teamates wouldnt really get payed much over 200m or may already have 200m but it would be a good incentive also prob a good incentive for them to dg faster if its payment per dg. ALso just cuz its a buyable doesnt mean its now a skill...it was always a skill just a varied skill and its more of a skill than farm or summon that are more like a daily activity (farm) and summon is (finding drops from cb and making pouches) dg can be traind just like all the others even tho it has a minigame feel slayer thats a skill and all it is is getting task from a master and doing them... btw paper how many overloads do u have for combat? :P and suomi all 200ms in classic - I cant even kill a goblin thier amg! EDit:i dont personally do penguiins but many people do its a good thing to consider but kinda like considering lamps from random events it would generally avg out. but effigies just beat penguins in terms of thier effect on the game.. or i guess it would be like calculating bork once a day for summoning its alot and adds up to alot but most of the charms will still be on slayer/whatever monsters after slayer.
  11. Yeah you wont see much xp gains for a few months. Just want to merch and be rich again because its fun :P I like having phats. I'll keep farming for xp but other then that I wont be doing any other skills for quite awhile. Just burned out. Make a another account and do 200m cons with demonic thrones =P I'd love to can I have 170 bil? Haha what about the 10B I still need? =P Glad to see you posting here again <3 Suomi where will you finish your cb 200ms after 200m slay? Good question, not sure yet actually. Probably cave crawlers, dark beasts, black demons or frost dragons but haven't decided yet. Just taking one day at a time. when u have 200m slayer u can kill what u want =) whats the best way to avoid all the annoying idiots/bots at black demons/frost?

  14. i know not doing abby/garg makes the cannonball use go way up thats more where the extra expense comes from not the loss of whip drops.. iceys are a task that give great slayer exp but have normal drops that pay for runes if u mage and cannonballs so another breakeven task. idk about sols maybe 2m every 3 icestryke task or w/e the only reason to cancel icestryke is if your not gunna have extra cb exp after 200m slayer and wont get 200m summon from 200m slayer choosing not to bank the dragon bones at iron/steel would make slay a big loss because thats where most of the money comes back from unless u bank the ashes at black demons which is a pain and does slow killrate down......
  15. Your forgetting combat brings in the cash aswell - Combat costs next to nothing really. I think he's talking about spending 7500 hours at cave crawlers. Which might be efficient but not very realistic imo. lol yea i think hardcore slayer loses some money but then u gotta add the value of the herb and range exp.... nothin at all close to 15b. especcially since simon is 200m range lol

  17. suomi is prob the only person where 2.5b will mean more than halfway lol...... but yea its amazing how far a player can get w/o having more than 99 in most slow skills. 6 players with not 200m or barely 200m exp on top 6 slow skills even with effigy. but gottta also say that not having slow skills could also mean low slayer which = possible exp in all slow skills players mainly have high wc cuz of ivy when needing a break alot definately choose ivy over a power training wc method. fish is a bit different rocktails are nice but barb is easier to get to but yea alot of people wont have every tic in mind when barb fishing either. But u cant calculate someones slacking so they use the max rate.... but personally langers chart is ftw!!! just seeing an hrs figure is so vague compared to the totals :) and basically the hours calc is a nonbuyables calc anyway =P
  18. 123 :) lol but i do think u shuld make another chart but add woodcutting to it it accually is pretty slow in terms of hours to go and yes for someone wondering about the effect of effigy they have a huge effect even if using on buyables the lamps if used on rc or slay cut the time down alot. i like langers chart better especcially if it counts woodcutting =p woodcutting monthly record is about 40m exp and the next 35-38 so thats pretty slow lol and well yea not countin money making does disadvantage the people with lots of buyables i think the time chart doesnt count fletch at all when alot of people used broads for 200m fletch so thierfore = time spend training fletching =p but u cant really put an hourly rate on moneymaking most money isnt really made per hr and that hr only spent making gp alot of money is made by luck or merchanting at the right time....and even if ur doing frost its not only money per hr but ur luck of effigy that can decrease ur time to go...
  19. i do ferocious ring everytime doubt npc contact is worth it... personally i dont do suqua low number assigned not that fun to me and im not on lunars they are rarely assigned anyway lately. nechs are hard to get to yea and common.. uh ....yea most people do do the task they like personally im not sure if i can give a clear list the only task that everyone should do it would prob be black demons, black dragons....basically it... its prob worth it to slay 2 months more doing task that are enjoyable but from personal exp i dont think one task list is necessarily good lol i mean thiers just so many task that i wouldnt put a clear "do always on" but arent worth a "cancel always" SIDENOTE : i felt like messing with summona but she was a [bleep] that gave kurask lol
  20. Dags are a good task, but they are at the lower end of the "good" tasks. So if you had extra points I would suggest cancelling them or Tdogs. But I would wait until you are closer to your slayer xp goal, before you start spending lots of points, just in case you hit a horrible streak. Abbys, Gargs, and Nechs are all pretty bad tasks, in terms to time to 200m all skills. For profit and charms, abbies and nechs are pretty good. Abbies are the most frequently assigned task and they aren't good enough to "do," so to save slayer points it is best to block them. I have a feeling that gargs and nechs should be blocked as well, but according to my frequency data, they aren't assigned as much as the other 6 blocked tasks. Once I get more frequency data I will make sure to update the optimal block list. As for doing gargs and nechs, you could do both every so often for points. They will decrease the optimal function though. Nechs hurt less than gargs, so if you are planning on doing them for points, do Nechs over gargs. As for ice wyrms I think the reason they are to be left out is because they are only good for effigies and slayer xp. They are assigned so frequently that you will end up doing something like 180k of them over 185m slayer xp. So if you are to block them, you will get much more of the frequently assigned tasks that you still "do" which are better tasks. So when they are blocked they end up increasing the amount of black drags and demons... etc. that you do, thus maximizing the time function. Of course I could have bad data, so I have them listed at 160 kills per hour, is that fact? Because if that is dramatically more then they may be a worth while task. Also remember this is not a guide, the optimal task list is just something that can be produced from this model. People should think of it more as a tool for them to decide what tasks they want to do. I know the excel sheet is very messy to look at, but that is still because it's a beta. There are still some things that I want to change/add, so once I do that I will make it more user friendly. So if you are not rich enough to pass up whip drops, or just plan don't want to. You can certainly do abbies, it is not like you would be playing the game wrong. lol. Here is the numbers if you were to Do abbies, block Nechs, and cancel Tdogs: [spoiler=The numbers]Total Slayer Xp Killed 185,000,000 Total Green Charms 167,058 Total Crimson Charms 204,744 Total Blue Charms 43,286 Hours to Run Charms 118.597 Total Summon Xp 148,800,236 Sum:Slayer Ratio 0.804325598 Total Effigies 1,754 Total Investigation xp 19,735,711 Total Lamp Xp 84,256,574 Slayer xp:Effigy Ratio 105456.04 Total Hours Slaying 3894.04 Average Xp/hour 47,508.52 Avxp/h w/ Eff on Slay 69,145.85 E(Slayer points) 3.327935223 Slayer Hs - Skilling Hs (858.49) So you can see that you are losing more than 400 hours over 185m slayer xp if you do abbies. This is because of how frequently they are assigned instead of doing 0 abbies, you will have to kill around 255k of them. That is 100k more than any other NPC. However with a drop rate of 1/512, that means you will get about 498 whips. At 1.2m each that is 597,600,000 gp. So since my model does not account for profit. Can you make 600m in 400 hours? 1.5m per hour? If not, then abbies are worth doing. That is one big reason, why my model is not a guide, but a tool. My "Optimal task list" may not be optimal for everyone, especially because it doesn't include a "fun factor." It is a video game do what you enjoy. There is no reason to listen to me. Abyssals are an additional 1m/hour if you bank the infernal ashes with a yak, which changes it to 1b in 400 hours, which is still only 2.5m/hour value of time but meh I like abyssals lol. I would keep abbies just incase i wanted to do them....but now that whips arent worth as much and i cbf banking ashes anymore.....id say they would prob be done 1/7th-1/10th of the time instead of always lol gargoyles are ok as well prob 1/5th-1/10th of the time doing.... icestryke are good enough to "do" remember u can still cancel them occasionally any task thats worthwhile shuldnt be on the "blocked" list those task have "relaxation value" if nolifing slayer for awhile blocking means ur never gunna do the task so its a bit dif. ps:max out ducky cmon lol
  21. icestrykes have good effigy rate but abby nech and garg dont abby and garg are pretty relaxing so i enjoy them as backup task but i did block nechs :P

Obviously these number are still off from the true means because I only have 345 unblocked tasks logged to get the frequencies of assignment, but as Elessar and other get more tasks logged the number should get more accurate. Anomilies in the task list that I notice: - Ice strikewryms, they seem to be a quite popular task, so it seems a little odd that it would be optimal to block them. Though they don't have great charm drop rates, they provide no prayer xp, they do have decent effigies, but since they are assigned so often it is better to block them. I would appreciate any and all constructive feedback. if u dont care for charms they are a good task lol if you plan on camping black demons later icestryke are fine. but if slaying for charms maybe not. people mainly do them because of the funfactor i think :P
  25. effigy every 1h = 135k/hr in mostly slow skills and if it really went as low as 2hrs per effigy then it would be 67.5k /hr in various slow skills. but yea not the biggest exp waste but somewhat. not ideal for every skill at all tho
