  2. It takes 2-3 hours to fill a horn in a good team, I think the problem is finding people who want to fill their horn every day. I guess it's for people who don't enjoy running around in circles all day and enjoy speeding the process up, personally I find BA much more enjoyable than agility anyway. prob only worth it if u were in a ba clan or something. I think the forced roles thing/lack of connections or timezones makes ba harder than dg in terms of finding quality players to play with most people can do decent attacking/collecting but its hard to be a defender/healer and the ba horn only stores 1.3m exp so it would be way too much break betwee using/having to find people and playing. if the horn stored 10m exp for example it would be easier to train longterm and fill it up alot when on good team and empty when noones on. I think people will NOT use ba for the majority of agility
  3. considering how they still emphasize 99s and they also made maxed/completionist capes i doubt 120 all would happen but i think it would have a somewhat positive/someone negative influence on 200m all skills positive = tangible benifits for skills , new/faster methods of training, more motivation to get 200m since 120 is 104m and 99 is 13m so the training without any ingame benifit is less negatve = some people will quit simply because training skills they dislike , grindfest, people that play for ranks will be outclassed , 200ms will become a waste until the new maxed is achieved. one thing to think about is an account with 99 all and 120 dg that has 420m exp would have the same ingame benifits as an account with 5b exp :P If they made it all 120 2.6b would be required for all the ingame stuff.....I wanna see a timecalc to all 120s outa interest lol.anyway because 420m = 5b exp in terms of game unlocks and rewards people can quit when they are ready to quit and its better for them and the game as a whole if they made 2.6b = 5b then many many many people would grind skills they hated instead of getting 200m in skills and ignoring skills they hated. would make the game less enjoyable for alot of people and make it harder to quit for alot of people too. People like kingduffy play the game for enjoyment are gunna last longer than people grinding 1 skill and then going to the next.
  4. yea its fun to play that way as well especcially if u look at the time required to accually complete the game completing the skills that you enjoy will only leave with skills that are less enjoyed and completeing the skills that are less enjoyed = never have to do them again but sorta alot of time spent grinding on one thing if u dont like it - varied approach to all skills is pretty smart. Keep playing for fun like that tho =) and gl on all 120s.
  5. yea welcome back paper ;) play the game for fun and take it one day at a time like suomi said and yea nothings for certain thier may be drastic changes in rs or rl to make anyone quit so just play the game and enjoy own progress is the best way to go.
  6. Really? I mean yea it's very obvious Suomi has huge potential to be #1, but telmomarques would be up there too. I was thinking he would get all 200m before jdela. Jd all the way if they update agil/rc or fishing - he has a balanced real life and sticks to the same skills he wants to train telmo could be first depends if he quits or not :P suomi = probably going to be first seeing as its his goal and he is sooo far ahead of everyone in slow skills... xx person we never ever heard of b4 not on this list = definately have a chance at catching up if they are dedicated - look at suomis pace through slayer in a few months other people could probably have simular paces and catch up to the lower top 15 ect ..

  8. really depends if someone was a completionist player in the first place...not me for sure lol when the requirements wer being made for the origional they all had resonable time requirements besides 120 dg and livid farm but 120 dgis fair because we were asking for a cape that required 120 dg as well but the maxed cape is only all 99s livid i think is fair because it came out and everyone had te same amount of time to get it for all spells. Alot of maxed players dont do quest and it hinders the ability to get a completionist cape. But people also wanted thier random completionist things like all champions or something to be recognized - before the highscores got competetive that was one goal after maxing for people or the 4k chompies things like the statue and stuff were included in the second cape too....people are mad that it requires 5k castlewars games as that takes 86 days played of castlewars only basically.....Personally i dont care about the trimmed completionist cape at all just when one maxer that focuses primarily on exp checks the cape its liek "omfg all things all things" and others have alot of it done but have played longer/care bout completing minigames also. I think they made it so the first one was completing the basics of the game quest/task/diaries/magic/prayers and promised not to get minigames involved cept for the magic and they kept thier promise and u can still show off with a completionist cape if thats ur intention. Also maxed cape is pretty much fire/sw cape combo as well I just look at it as trimmed is a waste of time cuz 86 days played can give soo much overall exp or money :P
  9. top 15 active changes all the time top 15 everyone doesnt usually have new people entering cuz it takes so long to gather all the exp even with alot of money :P
  10. If you run out of Slayer points you're forced to do non-cannon tasks? yea points are the reason that u cant be permanantly at bloodveld/ black demon task :P and its also fun collecting points :P
  11. about slayer - Its a big loss if you cancel all except for the best slayer exp/effigy task and dont bank ashes(it slows down killrate alot to bank em) big being 1-5b and even tho crawlers is better for slayer most do slayer cuz its more enjoyable..andvaried for a long skill.. I think most people will end up profiting/losing 10-300m on eitherside to 200m slayer depending on how many task they feel like doing =P doing a noncannon task = less time spent cannoning = less loss and i know alot of people do nechs, abbies, gargoyles, dusties, firegiants just for fun which saves cash even tho drops dont give profit lol :P noone will gain big on 200m slayer the 1-5b unless they dont use turmoil, dont cannon task that should be cannoned and thats a big timewaste.....tbh if going for 200m all skills ur gunna be cannoning....so better just accept slayer is low gain or a loss and do the task u like in the best way possible - CANNON steel titan ect :P
  12. effigies most likely had an influence like they did alot of players personally alot of players hate when exp is massively increased especcially for hard skills and its almost been a year since effigies came out so not as much outrage from people now but before when we found out "woah these things give 135k overall exp ea almost instantly" "woah u can get more than one in one day???" "woah u can get multiple ones in a task" "damn it saves 96 minutes of skilling" it made people that had initially high slayer/combats mad (i had just base 13.8m or maybe 15.8m slayer dont remember so didnt affect me that way ) what did make me see the effect of effigies was when i was doing slayer and was getting 100k-200k runecraft exp for doing nothing - now i grahak rced for 18.6m rcing and then didnt rc at all and now i have 26m+ rc exp ??? 8m rc exp outa thin air and the rest of my effigies ive used on slayer its helped allot and that can save 2-5 hrs of slaying a day basically....b4 effigies i think id probably be like 13-15m slayer exp less at least.....also alot of my skills have gone to 17m+ with 3m+ gained from investigating... however i enjoy the game and find effigies a fun aspect of the game to figure out...choosing which skill combos are best and they have also motivated me for slaying... About cavecrawlers - its basically paying 2m an hr for an effigy pre maxed cb its an excellent way to get exp/combat if you feel like paying attention to your game 90mins saved skilling - 60mins for efffigy = 30 mins time basically free but its worth it to do the buyables head on cuz using a lamp on a buyable would be 2m for the 48k exp or about 50gp/exp but for rc/agil it could be a considerable method.....slayer was proven faster at cavecrawlers in the longrun however i think if someone hates slayer that much they will also hate doing cavecrawlers that much too =P. but it is alot of paying attention if you accually wanna kill cave crawlers and thier is a big difference in your effigies /hr if you pay attentions or dont...(i only did 1hr thier and got 3 effigies from luckscape also did another hr with 0) anyway its not really something to do longterm thiers other things to camp like blackdemons, darkbeast, black dragons(can pick up bones to break even better than ashes at black demons which waste timE)those 3 can also give good effigies =P people always rage at updates that make skills faster/easier because of the work that was put in b4 such as like concentrated gold it changed mining in a hugge way from a clicky grindy skill to an afking ish skill but also faster than normal granite :o but see concentrated gold was praised by people that hadnt done mining yet (yay me) and was very annoying update for someone that did mining the hard way at granites.... I know many people if they made agil 100k/hr and fun course wouldnt rage but people that already got so far probably would thats also why people turn to fast skills first as a change wont devalue the skills as much also content that doesnt give a faster exp rate is ignored usually.....or peopel are expected to quit thier old way of training when a new way comes along such as c2 fish (idk if its still better but i heard it is still better after the nerf ) people just deemed barb as inefficient IDK why i wrote so much im going to sleep lol
  13. he has slayer, hunter, thief, and rc if he decideds to non effigy it or finishing his combats while using effigy on rc =P over half the time spent on buyables is moneymaking otherwise buyable skills would have simular 200ms to cooking ;p
  14. Dedication perhaps, but certainly not hard work. People bot to kill the grind and it's just ludicrous how grindy RS really is. ^This. I wouldn't put the blame on the bots as much as most people do. The more braindead grinding there is in any game, the more botting it will cause. It's Jagex's choice to take so much risks. They're only harvesting something they planted themselves. livid farm >.> look at my stats ive done alot of grinding but that just drove me crazy why why why do that for the completionist cape <.< probably the stupidest content ever lol...

Yea well this is why people get irritated when people bot skills....They show the same on the highscores but havent done it all themselves Thier is some content that gives a big ingame advantage like frost dragons and livid farm that i understand why it gets botted because its repetetive content thats sorta necessary for the game...BUt if someone bots a 99 or multiple 99s it really isnt fair at all and they shuld get the rollback /bans and frost dragon bots shoudl get a ban too ...but people decide if the time saved in rs is worth riskin thier account or think "o jagex didnt roll or ban all these people so it wont happen to me..." yea i understand thiers choice of nolifing rs versus being a noob account but enjoying real life too but the reason many loyal players quit especcially those that play completely legit is because of people that dont even care about the game polluting it with cheating and all.. but tbh the game isnt worth starting if you didnt start 2-3 years ago....if you wanna monsterhunt might as well play wow or something....Thats probably why someone feels the need to nolife and when they realize they cant they start botting Personally I never tried or considered botting...kinda dont mind grinding....but i understand when ur calculatin how long somthing will take it can bring a "damn 1 month at 4hrs a day 2 weeks at 8hrs a day >.> feeling"
  16. oh, but jdela isnt going for 200m all skills, and he has said this multiple times. pointless speculation. By the time a player is outa "fast skills" the other skills will either be updated or wont seem as slow. JD > dragonsceance if u want some pointless speculation :P but w/e its not a race
  17. In my sig This is true. For dungeoneering it is best to stop when you have enough tokens to max but not to spend the tokens yet. Because if you needed another chaotic you'd have to dg when already at 200m. Some skills will only be effected by capping them if you do quests afterwards and miss rewards. Skills that have ongoing xp gains like runecrafting (genie lamps) and agility (shortcuts) should be stopped before 200m but for the majority of the skills it doesn't matter (except with quests). yea its smart to at least save some i saved like 1.4m woulda been more but eh if u maxed rc just use the lamps on something else i think effigy combos are the main benifit of not capping a skill at 200m getting any of the combos b4 slayer is missing out on 10m+ free exp so only maybe ok for fast skills where that 10m exp is only like 30 hrs .... also getting combat skills 200m w/o slayer....

  19. nah trick, 1b xp can be gotten a lot of ways, as you can see via runescape hiscores, dragonseance does not have any 200m's, while MOST other people with 1b+ xp just have 200m cooking+fletching+a combat, obviously dragonseances slayer xp is more valuable than someone with the same amount of xp in a different skill, like cooking. yea i know about different exp breakdowns thats what i was saying...lots of people have 2b exp w/o touching any slow skills some have high slow skills and lower exp but are closer than u think and no maybe we cant compare these people to suomi but we can definately compare them to people on the bottom of the timecalc but still with higher exp..... edit:i dont really like dragonseance i was just saying timewise to all 200ms hes not as crap/noob as people are saying and if we gunna compare people to suomi then gf everyone in the top 15 cept maybe tezz/telmo.....

Just cuz someone says thier going for 200m all skills doesnt mean they are goin gfor it first... and i think dragonsceance and andrew calcs have a life but both have decent exp....tbh 1b exp is the 20% mark to 5b in theory and its still a large chunk of the way thier no matter how many have it lol.... think about all 99s lol lots of people started going for it right at 99 fletch and achieved it
  21. Personally because I thought I heard somewhere along the way that mini games would not be part of it. Other then that no I have no reason to be surprised. for the completion cape everyone wanted minigames and champ scrolls and statues not part of it just quest/task/magic/spells the majority of all 99/120 dg wanted that cape but it would be rediculous to require certain things like minigames as most were against it but then they also suggested a super completionist cape with eerything which is what the trimmed one is.

  23. most people that would go for the trim dont really care about skills but the livid farm for completionist cape might make some people slow down for a few days to a week if they want it.
