  1. Toy box contains all the holiday event stuff, what upcoming holiday has something to do with such items?
  2. The only problem is that a chaotic item is, in fact, an item an not an ability. If jagex made it so you could buy it for cash from the smuggler once you got 80 dungeoneering, there would be no problem. If you die with your chaotic item, you don't lose the ability to wield/wear it, do you? You just lose the item on its own. Edit: and no you don't lose the ability to mine rune, but you do lose your pickaxe, and if you want to mine rune again, you'll have to buy it back. For full price.
  3. So what? Is that why you want a cheaper prices? You don't get cheaper prices if you lose your divine ss. Why do you want it cheaper then? So what? Is that why you want a cheaper prices? You don't get cheaper prices if you lose your red h'ween mask. Why do you want it cheaper then? So what? You need to do something else besides your daily activities to get the currency? If you enjoy dungeoneering, you should not want lower prices because the tokens come while you're having fun. If you're just doing dungeoneering for the chaotic equipment, then you should be more careful where you take that weapon. Admit it: the only reason you want the price lower for the 2nd time you buy is because you don't like doing all that effort to get it again. And guess what? It is exactly the same with other expensive items, but maybe you like gathering gp more?
  4. Heh, so you want cheaper prices after losing it because you the only way you can get the currency is by training a skill?
  5. People have no reason to call anyone a safer now, this smells overpowered from miles away.
  6. And why would it be any different from losing an item worth 150m? If you lose an item worth that much (let's say a red h'ween mask) you lose the time and effort you put in getting that amount of money. If you lose a chaotic item, you lose the time and effort you put in getting that amount of tokens. Just because there are more ways to make gp doesn't make it less of a loss.
  7. That money has been earned by hours of working, not by just sitting around. Dungeoneering tokens is a currency just like coins, tokkul, trading sticks, fist of guthix tokens and others. Each of them requires time and effort to gather, and each has various rewards. I don't see why one of them should have this cheaper item on death system, while the others don't have it. It is just a different method of gaining that currency.
  8. Aren't sellable items earned items? Unless you sit at the party room and get 50m as a drop...
  9. Everything you listed comes from an activity, not a skill. Chaotic weapons are the best weapons in the game for almost every situation. The items you listed are not. Aside from the two highest tier CW armors (which are useful only in CW, mind you, and should not be used anywhere else, unlike chaotic), none of those items (or item sets) take longer than nine hours to get. It takes significantly longer to obtain a chaotic weapon. Even HALVING the price to RE-BUY (that is, you have to spend the initial 20-30 hours to get the weapon) put the weapons ahead of any of those items in time required to re-obtain. It's entirely fair. So the reward seller should be pitiful about you? The poor guy already has enough trouble smuggling those items out of Deamonheim. If you lose an item worth 50m (I assume people value their chaotic equipment at 50m), you die and lose it, do you think you deserve to get it off the GE for 25m? Nope, you'll just have to earn that 50m back, and that doesn't take longer than nine hours.
  10. And while we're at it, why won't we implent cheaper void, cw armour, fighter torsos, naval, etc. because you already bought it before? People should just learn that there are risks, and if they die and not get back in time there are consequences :/
  11. Not really, imps have been dropping fliers since rsc, before the champions challenge minigame even existed.
  12. Heh, I played a few games of FoG today, and it was horrible: every single opponent used only magic :???: It wasn't fun at all, just standing in the centre with prot magic prayer on. What if Jagex just changed the mechanics of FoG, so that only the winner would receive xp? Imo, that would make it feel more like a minigame and not a training ground for pures...
  13. 10hit KO from chickens? nty More like 100hit K0, if you somehow don't heal. Or do you own a lvl 1 constitution account?
  14. Because if you can TB + barrage + venge someone, they are going to die. Period. We can't switch between prayers/curses and the three spellbooks because it'd be horribly unbalanced. You give up certain advantages to have other advantages. How about switching spellbooks would remove all the effects the previous spellbook had? LIke remove the teleblock or vengeance, or the freeze from the ice barrage.
  15. I was talking about all-round usage, I cba to buy different melee weapons for different situations :)
  16. To be honest I don't really know either. But that's what makes the place shine - you can simply carry a rune scimitar with you and rack up the kills. These guys are very useful for their talisman drops. And a rune longsword looks better than a rune scimitar, in that outfit. The same can be said for just about every rune set. But why are the best looking weapons always inferior... ;_; I choose for a rune longsword, I don't really care about the speed, I like the accuracy and power :)
  17. You don't even need to wear armour to feel sorry for them :P
  18. I was just about to post that one, good memories :)
  19. 6 years after your main got hacked, and last logged in 6 years ago? C'mon, Runescape isn't 12 years old, and 9 hp accounts were made before 2004 I believe
  20. If anyone is willing to sell me any heraldic rune skirt for trade price, let me know :)
  21. The 4 types are actually killers, achievers, explorers and socializers, bet w/ever  (http://www.gamerdna.com/quizzes/bartle-test-of-gamer-psychology/take)
  22. ofc, its got good melee defence. I don't know about you, but i'd get 5 more def lvls and get some barrows armour
  23. Would you call 3rd age melee useful then?
