  1. Aparently... Fire fang hits through wondergaurd too... But on the talk of w/e (didn't read last few posts) Maraowak is a smelly pokemon thats dumb and is easily outdone by a Kangaskan. Not offensively, Marowak can use Thick Club (item) to boost its attack stat up to a base 160. The best Kangaskhan can do is Choice Band, which locks it into 1 move and is still lower (base 142 after Choice Band). But everything else is trash since Marowak has pathetic stats otherwise.
  2. Use the RuneWiki calculator to determine the cheapest potion.
  3. Well if it doubles your current attack and not the base attack I would say yes :twss: I'd still take a Spiritomb w/ Wonder Guard though, you'd only ever take damage from [bleep]es/stealth rock/recoil unless you're dumb enough to get it statused by baton pass or something. EDIT: Oh future sight and doom desire can hit, but who uses that :?
  4. Speaking of hacking and breeding, you should try to get a Sableye or Spiritomb with Wonder Guard, lol.
  5. The Fun Factor? :twss: But practically, if you can get one that easily I'd say no.
  6. There are a lot of wolves in the first level of the SoS. I think they drop wolf bones (but only normal bones in f2p). It's multi, so if you bring a cannon you should be able to (Idk if you're allowed, though). Speaking on cannoning, someone told me you can get quite a lot of wolf bones if you cannon the Ice Wolves.
  7. Yeah, ima follow the convention just set and quote the post
  8. I like having sweepers with decent def, anything 70 or above. Sometimes it might only have a 2HKO on a pokemon, so you need to have to take a hit. Plus any sweeper that needs to set up (Azelf, Lucario, etc.) should have decent defense or sleeper support. Can't put Shadow Ball in, it gives poorer type coverage than the other moves, so it ends up doing more harm than good. I might just end up using Tyranitar or something instead of Salamence, since it's the easiest solution. Rotom-C (Grass based): http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/rotom-c Rotom-F (Ice based): http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/rotom-f Rotom-H (Fire based): http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/rotom-h Rotom-S (Air based): http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/rotom-s Rotom-W (Water based): http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/rotom-w All of the transformations are better than the original form. You also get to learn Leaf storm/Blizzard/Overheat/Air slash/Hydro Pump, respectively, which can handle a lot of counters.
  9. Yeah, but look at its transformations, not the original form. 107 def, 105 Spattack, 107 spdefense, 86 speed + extra elemental move Everything has a weakness, but I never have a Gengar on my team :x I don't really like Gengar, too frail for a sweeper imo and lacks a set-up move. I'd take an Azelf over a Gengar for that role any day, only 5 less base Special attack, huge regular attack, more defenses, faster, and can use Nasty Plot.
  10. Pretty high def/spec attack/spec def + only 2 weaknesses is not weak. Speed isn't bad either. Not amazing, but for its defense, its really good speed.
  11. Amazing, I can't wait!
  12. It's just the way I build my teams. I always end up with an extremely annoying Rotom weakness that none of my pokemon can deal with. Plus Rotom can take 5 different forms which all have a different elemental move, so not only is it Ghost/electric + immune to Ground, but it's also got ANOTHER elemental move which most likely covers a few good counters.
  13. I chose Blaziken first, but it seemed easier with Swampert. Stealth rock is good, it's really useful. Lol I guess Geodude would work, but all it can really do is take hits. What will it know? Tackle? EDIT: Most annoying Pokemon ever for me has to be Rotom :|
  14. Nope, it's not instant but 15/16 sounds right for the healing. If you click "eat" right after you do the attack animation of your weapon, you do not miss a round of combat. Also, if you have more than 1 of the same type of gnome food, and you eat one that is not first in your inventory, you will eat the one in first position, opposed to the one you clicked. This means if you want to spam click, you only need to spam click 1 food instead of every single one that you want to eat.
  15. [hide=Poll]Totodile ftw, idk why anyone would choose Chikorita considering the first gym is flying lol.[/hide] Stealth rock is pretty epic, but I don't get why some people would use suicide leads to ensure the rock is up :| Skarmory + Uxie w/ Yawn + Stealth Rock is epic. Forces a lot of switches.
  16. Yes Gnome Food allows you to eat without delay in combat, but it's not instant healing. So if you're about to die and eat Gnome Food, you will most like die. However, if you were to eat a shark instead, you'd get the 20hp instantly and have a better chance of survival.
  17. Cannoning wouldn't change drops, just the speed.
  18. I always take a Tortoise. When I cannon my tasks, I always leave with an inventory and tortoise full of ranarrs, kwuarms, high-value seeds, etc. A Macaw really isn't needed unless you bank in the middle of the task. Familiars and pets are not allowed on carpets, so you will either need to summon it after you arrive or do that drop-trick thing if you want a BoB to carry supplies.
  19. I've also heard that the Tyras Helm is great for ranging boss monsters, and I don't think the Helm of Neitiznot gives negative range bonuses. If you don't need so much defense, you could take one of those two.

  21. You don't need to pray range if you have a unicorn or titan.
  22. He said that he doesn't have those yet, although you could use a Regen Bracelet.
  23. You already keep the Legends Cape and Glory, as well as the Anti-D shield, Darklight/Silverlight, and Excalibur. I like the idea though.
