  1. With access to Recover, Cradily would be the most stable. You could give it Earthquake and Stone Edge, but it really isn't a threat due to the low speed. Medicham would really destroy anything, but since it has low speed, it can be stopped by a fast hazer, such as Crobat. I don't see those around anymore, though, so it shouldn't be a problem. I would go with Lucario. You only give up 10 base attack for a lot more reliability. Give it Extremespeed and it won't be hazed since anything fast enough to outspeed Lucario will be OHKO'd by Extremespeed. Close Combat will take care of anything slower, like Bronzong. You could also give it Crunch and Ice Punch, but only Crunch is necessary so you can hit Ghosts like Dusknoir or Rotoms.
  2. Almost all of mine are N/A and the few that aren't are like in the 80s. :x
  3. I haven't seen too many Smeargles lately, but they are decent.
  4. Wow I got totally lost. You should make it a little more clear, for example state the tricks you will be using in the beginning and then remention them when they are relevant.
  5. Fastest method is STEAM runes, followed closely by Smoke runes (which are the less expensive/profitable version of steam runes, but at 5k xp/hour less), followed by ZMI, and only then Ghraak. viewtopic.php?f=180&t=808896 Guide to smoke runes. After you read that, it should be fairly easy to figure out the process for Steam Runes.
  6. For smithing, make adamant arrows/bolts with SC hammers. For theiving you want to do Blackjacking. It's not fun and it's click intensive, but it IS the fastest way and should be almost double the xp PP can offer you at this level. For fletching, make bolts. Making bows is bad xp for what it's worth. Bolts and arrows are much better. You usually want to stick to the adamant and mithril varieties of each (bar perhaps mith arrows since they don't really sell) or make broad bolts. You could use your smithing products for this step. I believe mith bolts were 260k per hour and adamant was 480k? A lot better than bows, you can see, although you'll want to check the cost. Arrows give even higher xp.
  7. It's still very possible, but it's a lot more dangerous and you won't be lasting nearly as long as you could have before.
  8. I like using UUs in OU though, it mixes it up. As long as they have good enough stats not to get completely destroyed (as in, they have some use), I'll use them. I was using Suicune to hopefully get coverage on the rock/ground types that counter Rampardos, but Rotom-W would've been better anyway. *Aside* How long does Trick room last?
  9. Using the smaller pouches is worth it for ZMI and abyss, but not worth it for ghraak because the runs go too fast. Lurker is also always worth it, so I don't see why you don't use them. Someone calculated before that runs have to be under 1 minute long to disqualify pouches/enhancers that give 8 ess or less.
  10. Obby sword + zerker necklace is better than the d scim and potentially better than the SS, but highly variable.
  11. Was talking about GSC with the Snorlax, Umbreon, and Suicune. But yes, Suicune does have good counters.
  12. You normally use up one talisman per craft  But with the binding necklace, you don't. No, Magic Imbue means you don't need Tallys. the Necklace just prevents you from failing (and the fail rate is 50%). Terrific guide. I've been telling people for a long time to craft Steam runes for RC as an alternative. While Smoke Runes are not as fast as Steam runes, the profit sure makes up for it! Now I can just link them to this guide, instead of explaining the process in each post! Very nice work  EDIT: You can greatly improve the xp/hour rate. If you throw in a Giant Pouch and Lurker, trips take 50 seconds on average and you craft a lot more ess per trip. So instead of crafting 41 per trip, you could be crafting 59, which will greatly increase your xp. You can therefore do 72 runs per hour, removing 2% for errors leaves 70 runs per hour, which in turn equals 39k xp/hour. Compared to Steam Runes, which run a loss at 45k xp/hour, this is much better.
  13. Actually, it's about the same as a Mithril Dragon and Skeletal wyvern. Do it would be, in truth, better to kill Mithril Dragons. Much easier to get to, closer to bank, a lot easier and a lot safer, plus you get far better drops. On average the drops are better and you can take more home, and the Visage isn't the only good drop. You remember what the KBD was originally made for? Dmeds, lol. You know what Mithril dragons are made for? Dfulls. Much better, am I right? So sure it's not a boss monster, but it's just as well. 3 things: -You need 3 people to enter Waterbirth now, not 2 -You cannot safespot Rex, like any other monster, since it will back away -Prime can now hit you in the safespot
  14. The way it works is that you get your wand "upgraded". So if you have an Teacher Wand you pay to get it UPGRADED, so you lose your Teacher Wand and it is replaced with a Master Wand. This means you need to buy the lowest wand and work yourself up. But of course, you could simply buy a Teacher Wand and save a lot of time. Master Wands are unbuyable atm.
  15. Probably about 80 hours, but this is a total guess with no math behind it. There is a method in which you can tan and craft dhides simultaneously. The best way to maximize xp AND save money is to tan your hides in Canafis (33% faster than the next best tanner, so it's worth the extra cost) then craft the d hides as you walk back to the bank. Then you bank your dhide bodies and withdraw more dhides, run back to the tanner, and start the process over. It's very cost effective and doesn't sacrifice much time (~10 seconds per invent). You save a lot of money doing so in the long run.
  16. Smoke barrage gets me ~220 xp/barrage, ice is about 240, ice BURST is 180. Here's my data for Smoke barrage @ 102 magic attack w/o SGS. For ice barrage, everything should be the same except for slightly increased magic xp mentioned above (for 2 reason: higher base xp and ice barrage doesn't poison, and poison takes away potential xp). 114k magic xp/hr 59.5k hp xp/hr 513 casts/hr 6 blue/hr 40 green/hr 163 crim/hr 96 gold/hr 1.45 ppots/hr = ~6 doses/hr 1 cast = 222 magic xp 1 cast = 115 hp xp 1 blue = 85.5 casts 1 green = 12.825 casts 1 crim = 3.15 casts 1 gold = 5.34 casts Should give you an idea of how many charms/hp xp you can expect as well. You shouldn't be concerned about the ppot price, as the regular loot will cover those costs.
  17. You can run and craft? Yes, but since you can walk and craft and still get to the bank in time, it's better that you walk back so you save energy. Doing so means you never need to drink super energies. I heard stuff about not being able to run + pot up after Runetek5, this might apply to crafting as well. I know with Runetek4 you were able to, but check this before you go off and do this method. It's a very cost effective one.
  18. Iron defense? Umbreon > Espeon imo, especially in Crystal. Snorlax with curse and amnesia is pretty much unstoppable since the best thing you can do against it is a super effective brick break, which does only slightly better than a hyper beam. Give it Body Slam for a STAB-boosted attack and say, Earthquake, and you got yourself an awesome tank. You could alternatively forgo the Amnesia and give it Rest + Sleep Talk (along with Curse/Earthquake + body slam) if you need healing. I'd also say to get an Alakazam, although since I'm guessing you got no one to trade with so... And if you're not going to really battle with other people, abuse the legendaries, lol, especially Suicune.
  19. You do have a point, I suppose I'll come up with something else then. Totally forgot about priority as well :wall:
  20. I think Hazeel cult is the only quest in which you can get a different reward than other players (excluding quests giving choice xp). If you did not side with Hazeel, I don't think you get the Hazeel mark. Knowing that, we can assume that Jagex is against the idea of different rewards.
  21. Even if you melee, you shouldn't use more than 4 monks or so.
  22. Pressing F5 forces a full reload of the webpage and will most likely solve your problem.
  23. What do you mean by the extra time isn't worth the hassle? How much longer does it take?
  24. Doesn't Fortunato sell them as well?
  25. Actually, that's not necessarily the case. While Chinning is less efficient at 80 than 90, that doesn't make Avians the better option. Chins most likely are still more efficient. For your new question, I would say yes and no for two different reasons. 70 is extremely useful. It allows you to find boss monster teams a lot more easily and allows you to use piety. Since you will most likely want these two benefits sometime in the future, the best time to get it is now so you can benefit from 70 pray asap. However, those 10 prayer points don't make a huge difference for chinning. If I were you, I would get it. However, if I couldn't, I wouldn't worry since it's not such a big deal.
