  1. There's a guide for this: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... _guide.htm
  2. Nice. What's next?
  3. Be patient. There's not a magic trick to get in there or something. Just keep on refreshing the server list you get when you change worlds, and click on it when you see it's not full.
  4. Melee armour with protection from magic works fine for me.
  5. I'd call myself an addict. My obsession for RS is somewhat on the unhealthy side. BUT, I play soccer, I'm playing tennis, I run, I have great grades at school, I have a girlfriend.... so I'm able to live with my addiction. I'd say I have a life :P
  6. I'm not really into the prices where you live, but an 8800GTS 320MB should be possible. I don't agree with calling an 8600GTS futureproof just because it has DX10. When DX10 get mainstream, the 8600GTS will already be too old to take full advantage of it. With the 8800GTS you have more chance on that.

I have no idea how old you are Bubsa, but does 12 years constitute less or more than 50% of the time you have lived? If you're getting at what I think you are, that's very misleading. I can say with complete honesty that I have lived through 100 times more issues in the latter third of my life thus far than in the former two thirds (I'm 18, the math is easy). I'd say this is true of most if not all people. Exactly, that's what they call growing up :P I've experienced it myself too (19 years old here) You can't say a 12-year old is equal in experience to a 18-19 year old (or older). But that doesn't mean you can't take them seriously. Especially in RS, where it all comes down to you experience ingame. So I can't imagine why you would want to judge by age in this game, which means I agree with the topic creator.
  8. Still they knew it was a bug that was about to be fixed. Why else would everyone use the spell as quick as they could before Jagex found out? Of course its bug abuse. I mean Duriel was just using his new found ability to pk out of the wilderness, right? It was not a bug. A bug is something in the code that is not working properly. Everything worked fine. Jagex' intentions were just different than the code they made. They failed to forsee this. They made a mistake in their judgements, not in their code. Therefor you can not call it a bug.
  9. It was not a bug. Jagex just made a mistake implementing the spell the way they did. Technically you could call it a bug, but there's no bug abuse. People that did that just took advantage of the possibilities of the spell.
  10. Perfect, couldn't have said it better myself, but I'll throw in my 2 cents anyways: You can't just pay 100 mill to get a 99 stat. Jagex has made it clear in the past already that skills don't and SHOULDN'T function that way with the charge spell. And this is not "nerfed" this is "fixed". It's not supposed to be ridiculously easy like this. It's very simple. Jagex fixed the spell so that it would fullfill it's purpose. To us, the amount of xp that is possible to get with the spell is now much lower. That's a nerfe for us. It's a fix that has a nerfing effect. So it's both. And yes, I love pointless debates
  11. no sadly just nerfed It's fixed because it was "broken" according to Jagex. This was unwanted behaviour. For us players, it's just a nerfe.
  12. It's both nerfed and fixed.
  13. If this is about opinions, then every update failed. Because there are always people that are not happy with it.
  14. Awww, I should have known this. I hate magic training
  15. Some quests have a mining requirement, some quests have a farming requirement.... and some quests now have a combat requirement. I don't see the problem. Just because a bunch of people think it's cool to have a quest cape at a low combat level. Great job Jagex! Totally agree with Mod Ash here.
  16. Like if that is a good reason. RS2 was made simply because of the fact that it's better. Better graphics, more ways to improve the game due to a better engine. Simple. So the old game gets ditched. I played RSC, and have some good memories of it, but I definately wouldn't want to play that again.
  17. What a load of generalising crap here. Damn. I'm not part of any group or whatever. I hate people that think in boxes OR act like their part of one of these boxes.
  18. I've heard from a lot of people that this album is bad. I thought the same. But after some listening I must say that it isn't so bad as I initially thought. Their old style and songs are better though.

I bet there are more people just like you... but you never hear of them because you don't notice them.
  20. I've heard from someone that did the quest that d'hide is the best.
  21. Changing spellbooks will probably take a few moments. But can anyone tell me what they used for the fights and if it's possible to teleport out?
  22. What's the recommended setup and inventory for the monster fighting? And is it possible to teleport out? Or should I leave my ectophial in the bank?
  23. You can use it to change from Lunar to Normal or Ancient for 1 spell. (the in game description says it's for 1 spell, not sure though, might be for a short period of time). I've heard it's only for 2 minutes, which would be great if that was true.
  24. Oh crap... And because it's way slower to cast the spells then just using the balloons and duel rings for making planks, I think a lot of people will stay with the sawmill operator. Or am I missing something? Can someone also post all the item requirements for the quest? Edit: OMG, I say the spell also uses a nature rune... that means using the spell is far more expensive than using the sawmill since nats are worth 300-320.
  25. Macroers ruin the economy, and this game is ment for people to play, not for macroing. So that's not going to happen. It solves nothing.
