Okay, at first I was just thinking you were over hormonly driven, but that's just wrong, in both senses of the word :| . Men don't have hearts and souls now? Well, what is heavy? I could give some of my personal taste. I'm more of the melodic death/powermetal, general powermetal, gothic metal, such stuff. Some trash metal aswell. Generalizing: All metalbands coming from scandinavia rock. If you're looking for good metal, check in that region, especially Sweden has a lot of good bands. Now, some of my favorites: Cradle of Filth, Dark Tranquility, Diablo(!), Dragonforce, In Flames(!), Megadeth, Slayer(!) The !'s are what I'd recommend most.

Imo there is a difference between auto-typers and spammers. As long as the auto-typer doesn't spam his message, I'm ok with it. I don't use an auto-typer though. I only use one to log in. On my G15 keyboard I have 2 macro's... one for my log in name, and one for my password. Saves me 5 seconds when logging in :lol:

Random Access Memory. Anyways, BEFORE deciding what to buy, you need to come up with what you want to do with your computer. Play high end games at 1680x1050 16xAA/AF? Just play Runescape? Photoshop? Modelling? After that, decide what you want to spend on it. Based on that we can give advice, now it's just guessing.

I've planted loads of trees, and they always take a lot more time than what's described in the farming guide. Average you say? I'd say the average time is a lot higher.

I don't care if people get 99 fletching and 99 cooking as first 99's. What does annoy me is that some of those people think they're suddenly cool and part of the veteran players when they got their 99 cooking and skill cape. 99 Cooking with buying the fish is nothing compared to getting 85 slayer, or 91 runecrafting to name a few. My only 99 for now is fletching... I have 14,3m fletching xp only because I fletch for my friends. All xp from lvl 80 or so has been made through just an occassional fletching job. I'm definately not wearing the cape. The only use for 99 fletching for me was that the next cape (which will be fishing) is trimmed :lol:

If you search this forum on topics regarding the cooking gauntlets and monkfish it's easy to observe that the cooking gauntlets don't affect monkfish burning rate. But is this true? In my opinion, it isn't... I'm lvl 91 cooking. Didn't use gaunts at first and burned an occasional monkfish, sometimes two per invent. Which was quite in contrast with my friend who didn't burn a single monkfish on lvl 91 cooking. So I thought wth and decided to try the gauntlets and I haven't burned a single monkfish since. I cooked such amounts that in my opinion it's safe to rule out the factor "luck". So now my question is... how are your experiences with this?

I keep track of my daily progress with this site. Pretty neat... Shows me the amount of xp in all skills, and overall as well as levels gained. Also I can compare what I've gained in a week, a month, or just x days. Very convenient :)

Some randoms just appear in, well.. random situations. Nothing in particular. A genie, for exampling, can appear everywhere, regardless of what you are doing. Also check out the random events guide

The problem with most studies is they don't see the individual, but only take an amount of people, and conclude things out of the numbers and statistics they get. Sex change doesn't neccesarily mean that problems are solved. There was a great example of effective sex changing in the seventies, or something. I believe it was about a person that was born with both female and male characteristics. Back in the time, the nature vs. nurture debate wasn't so strong, and the general concensus was that nurture was the key factor. Thus, it wouldn't matter what the doctors "choose" to be the gender of the person that had just been born. They decided to "make" a male of that person surgically and raise the kid as a male. (it could be female, I'm not sure, not important though) All went well, till that person hit puberty. It became unhappy, depressed, etc. Medical analysis revealed that the person had developped the physiology of a female. Thus, physiological gender and "mental gender" had a mismatch. They changed the person to a female, and she lost her depressions. I believe that case brought up a lot of discussion and fired up the nature vs. nurture debate. After that a lot of research regarding sexual development and mismatch were conducted. Oh, and that person described above killed her/himself a few years later. It was a very famous case... perhaps someone knows more about this.

Because that's a fact? I told you, go watch a few documentaries about this topic, read books about sexual physiology, etc. It's correct that I haven't given you any names, but this information can be found in every book about this topic. I'll tell you a few good ones from my medical study then: Human Physiology - Dee Unglaub Silverthorn - 4th edition Biology - Campbell and Reece - 7th edition Established scientific books. Read them for proof. I'm not denying that there are people with mental problems. I'm simply stating (again) that there are people that do not have a mental problem, but a medical one. You COMPLETELY ignored my questions about sexual dimorphic people in my previous post. Correct. But it's easy to check whether those people have a physiological or a mental condition. Based on that, it's easy to observe what to do with these patients. If you have a "male" patient with elevated levels of female hormones, an uturus, and XX chromosomes, it's quite clear that you have a patient with a serious medical condition. Simply an error in the regression of the mullarian duct can cause the female genitals not to be developped, and instead the person will develop male genitals. Once again... it's simply a fact that there are people with a medical condition. If you don't believe that, read the books I gave above, watch documentaries about people undergoing a sex change, etc. At least stop saying I have nothing to back it up. A simple example is a hermaphrodite. But you failed to take notice of that in my previous post.

That's because you haven't changed a single thing either. Because there's a difference between suicide and sex change? And we probably have different legislation here. Suicide is not against the law here. And I personally think there is something wrong with the law if you are not allowed to commit suicide. But I'm -once again- not commenting on this further, as it is offtopic. Then such people did have a mental condition, instead of a medical one. Extensive medical research should ofcourse be done before allowing the surgery. Because logically there's also the possibility of disturbed people that have a mental illness. That however has nothing to do with the medical condition of being in the wrong body. Read please. That's not quite what I was saying. Wrong again. It's a fact that there is something medical wrong with these people. There's evidence in the brain, in hormone-systems, chromosomes, errors in sexual differentiation during development, etc. All these factors can add to not developing fully into a male/female. But since you're not willing to believe anything I say (I'd advise you to read a good scientific book about sexual development during the prenatal stages of life) I'm asking you this... What do you do with people that are born with a an uturus and a penis? Or hermaphrodites in general? Or people that are born as a male, have the physical properties of a male, but develop breasts during puberty? ================================================= Bottomline is: There is a medical condition for "being in the wrong body". There is no denying in that. To make a different example... even being homosexual is something that can be observed in brain activity. Almost everything can be related to physiology. Allthough in the case of homosexuality there is no possible way to "cure" it (yet) nor is there a need for it. Homosexuality is not something that has a negative influence on someone's life, unless those people get discriminated (which sadly, still happens)

Well that's not really important) ================================================ In general... Male/female differences arent always as straightforward. There can be errors in chromosomes, in sexual development (example: No degration of the wolffian duct in teh early stages of the gonadal development). That way, what someone that looks like a male, doesn't neccesarily have to feel him/herself like a male. That's why a sex change, like modifying the gonads and hormone therapy can give such a person the body which fits best for his/her phsyiology and psychology.

Idk if these numbers are correct. You know the P-value, which is 1/2000... But what about the standard deviation? How is the spreading over the data? Normal? Poisson? Binomial? I think the data you produces is wrong. This is by far no correct statistical analysis.
