Not quite correct. Theory says that the first organism was a prokariotic unicellular organism. Plant-like features were added much more later on in evolution when the first eukaryotes came up. Supossingly cyanobacteria that had been "devoured" due to endocytosis created the first chloroplasts. But really, the first plant-like cells came up much, much later.

Depends on what you define as the first chicken, or the first chicken egg. Did the first chicken in evolution come out of a chicken egg, or did an "animal" lay a chicken egg? Ofcourse evolution doesn't work that way, so it's a question that can't really be answered. Thus it's an irrelevant question. And yeah, I love being serious about silly questions, why? And @ above: evolution is a fact. It has been proven that evolution exists. Also, you wouldn't be able to catch a cold every year if evolution didn't exist. What you're referring at is the evolution theory, which describes how evolution played a role in creating all species that now exist on earth. But let's not turn a dead serious topic in a discussion about evolution.

Yes, grammar is important. At this point, a lot of people's grammar is so bad it's getting hard to just understand them. I don't expect everyone to write English fluently, especially not considering this game has a lot of non-native English speakers (myself included). But the fact is, a lot of people are too damn lazy to just spell correctly. And that I find a lack of respect. If you don't have the decency to talk to me in a normal way (not neccesarily perfect!), I'm not talking to you. Mostly, grammar signifies eductation. A lot of people that "can't" spell usually don't have very bright things to say. Also, usually it are 10-12 year olds. Not trying to stereotype or saying that ALL 10-12 year olds are like this, but it definately correlates with age.

Darn it, it really needed a real graphical update. I mean come on... it looks pathetic.

I heard the graphics of the whip were improved. Though, it seems it stayed just the same. It still looks like a sausage with parts of it missing. Am I the only one still seeing old graphics or didn't the whip get updated?

That does not answer the "why" question. You just explained basic economic rules which is not really helpful. Personally I always wondered why super attack potions were practically worth nothing. I find them quite useful in every day monster fighting.

They would be foolish to stop developing an immensely popular game, like Runescape. Also, there are plenty of options for adding new content, to make sure Runescape stays popular and thus profitable. Mechscape will probably just have a different developing team. And why not? Jagex is getting pretty big.

Probably just a trick, or a typo. Jagex could be counting other stuff like diaries or FoG/BH as skills. I wouldn't be surprised. Obviously 25 sounds nice as a rounded up number. We'll see. I don't expect anything, so I can't be let down. If it'd be sailing it'd be awkward, though. Sailing just doesn't seem to fit in. Nevertheless Jagex wouldn't want to release a skill that doesn't fit in the game. Again, we'll see.

Yes, old times (I started in april 2001) were certainly more fun. But that's normal if you start something now. Things get old over time. I'm amazed I still like this game after a massive seven years. That's a huge accomplishment for a browser game.

This topic made me vote against. Poll manipulation sucks.

Plenty of skills have been raped already, stay off mining. Cooking, fletching and thieving aren't even skills anymore, after Jagex introduced their updates. They're gimmicks now. Mining should stay the way it is, for the sake of actually achieving something.

It's really just south of the black demons, quite close. Can't imagine it's a whole different dungeon...

I thought the member dungeon didn't have any greater demons (as Tip.it states) but to my surprise I saw them walking south[/s] of the black demons. Now my question is... how do I get there? There seems to be no way to reach them, and the dungeon map doesn't show that this area south of the black demons exists.. Anyone?

The question is, why would you want to take a screenshot at 1680x1050? Screenshots are best viewed in a smaller resolution, imo. I just take mine at the "original" windows size.

Most likely it's because of the epic lag that people would encounter if all players started downloading the new graphics. Look what happened when "only" the members downloaded the graphics yesterday. Servers went down, and lag was incredible for most people. Now that they've spread it bandwith is at least a bit conserved. I still hold my breath for when F2P will be able to access the new graphics.

A reinstall won't hurt. My graphics were totally effed at first, but reinstalling the latest drivers did the trick.

Well, dollars are worth practically nothing, so I don't care really. 7.75 more in a year, I can cope with that.

I simply take a saradomin and a zamorak item and fight them. All the mages I fight are attacking other monsters while I hit them. When you're in the general GWD area it's almost impossible to get them to *not* hit an other monster anyways, so, it's not neccesary to bring prayer potions or a bunyip. A little bit of backup food or a spare prayer potion won't hurt though. Little mistakes might get a 20 hit on you. All I take with me (next to sara/zammy) item is 2 super attack/strength pots and my slayer gem.
