Yeah me too. Runemonkey has a neat feature that lets you track alltime highscores. That's why I asked the guy if he could implement that aswell. As far as I know he's working on it. Another downside is that Runemonkey is epically slow. Still a bummer the personal highscores stopped working.

I can personally guarantee you that. I know the guy who makes the site, and I've been using it for a while aswell. Feel free to scan it aswell. All you have to do is register with you runescape name and provide a valid email address to validate that you're a "real" person. Nothing else, so no harm done.

Well the site in my sig will get aproximately the same features in a short while. The guy who made the site is working on it. It already has a lot of features though. So it might be worthwile to look at. There must me more sites, but I only use rsstats.nl. Well, and Runemonkey, but it's kinda broke at the moment.

Good, the rants forum never gave us any decent topics anyways. It's almost like the rants forum on TIF, only the RSOF is a tad bit worse. Ranting is a useless form of communication. Forums are for discussion, and not for spraying crap on them. And that's mostly what a rant forum facilitates.

I fought all the monsters described above, and for range I'd say skeletal wyverns are the fastest by far. Greater demons, black demons and such are incredibly slow.

If Jagex brings back RSC nobody will play it. It's very limited, ugly and simply boring if you play it a little while. Most people will stay with RS2 anyway, so it's not worth it for Jagex to bring RSC back. Not to mention the RWT problems that would arise again (allthough it would barely played, so RWT'ers might show not any interest). The only reason mentioning RSC is populair for some people is the nostalgic feelings they get. Nobody in their right mind would be fulltime playing it again. Been playing since april 2001, so don't accuse me of not having enough experience with RSC.

It's only a bit more, and it's only fair since they haven't increased their prices over the last few years, while there was a certain inflation going on. Nothing to really rant about imo.

RSC was a great experience. It was just totally different to what RS is nowadays. Not only in gameplay and graphics, but also in community. I think it's great to have had the experience of playing in the early days. I can remember the lands of Asgarnia being added to the game... ahh, those were the days. Well, it's all just nostalgic really. I wouldn't play it again if I could. Nevertheless, cocky people that thing they're better just because they played RSC don't really deserve any respect. I still like to judge people based on the way they act, not by parameters like RSC experience, age, or whatever reason you can find for prejudice.

"destoryed" should be "destroyed". I also found that you have quite a few random words that start with a capital where it's not quite neccesary. "talk" and "speak" in the middle of a sentence don't really need a capital. That's all I can moan about, nice guide.

Bugs always have to be reported through the bugtracker. You don't have to be logged in for that, so you can simply report the bug. In other words, Killerred005 is right.

I doubt the US will be that stupid to interfere with the conflict at hand between Russia and Georgia. Humanitary aid, ok.. but a war? No. Even those war hungry morons that call themself the US government can't be that stupid.

I'd love an adult-only world, but it ain't gonna happen. There's no way for Jagex to verify that someone is truly over the specified age. Besides, I doubt that discrimination based on age really is the key to solve the harassment from immature players. And Jagex... well they obviously are obsessed with parenting all of us. Runescape is truly the most sad game on this planet (at least, that I know about) when it comes to "controlled" gameplay. My God, they're really obsessed with it. And it doesn't help anything at all. You won't mature kids by putting up a lot of rules and having a censor. People will still be rude, offensive and immature. Perhaps they don't have easy ways to show their offensive language, but there will always be plenty of opportunities to offend someone. But yeah, Jagex doesn't see it this way. They're just being the saintly hypocrites they always are. No way we'll be getting adult-only worlds.

A long game is really scarce nowadays. I'd say that it's great, to be able to play for such a long time. Really gives you some bang for the buck. Can't wait till it's released on PC.

Lets say if I wanted to get 99 runecrafting. Would it be worth it to get all the tokens neccesary for the teleports? I reckon it's a LOT of tokens to be got... In other words; is this method more effective than simply going through the abyss?

The point is that a lot of people here use the rants forum to spray their complete utter nonsense about stuff they don't like on the forum. If you make a bad topic, you're bound to get bad replies. A lot of people need to start using their brains first, before they post. If you really want the rants forum to be a place where people can vent their crap, then I'd suggest locking topics upon posting. In that case there is no need to reply on a rant anyway. If you do want replies AND you want them to be decent, I suggest thinking things out before you start a topic. Seriously, a lot of people in the rants forum are just so freaking stupid it makes me want to cry. Ofcourse I could name 100 or so examples, but I doubt re-flaming those individuals will do any good.

Popularity expresses itself in demand, so this part is a bit incorrect. Next to that, I can't really say that this article has any interesting information. It's all pretty much what everyone thinks. Ofcourse you have the whining merchants, but Jagex doesn't quite see merchanting as something they should take into consideration when they release an update. Overall the GE just helps the average Runescaper so it's simply a good update, except for a few people that have made a profession of something which isn't Runescape's core activity.

Since you know the deal about natures, what kind of advice do you expect here? If you have the patience for rc, then it's a great moneymaker. Same deal for farming. Toadflax seeds cost pretty much nothing, and the herbs are like.. 2k? All up to you. You're the one that has to play the account. But if you like the skills, yeah, do it.
