  1. What's so emo about a simple phylosophical question?
  2. What if such a teenager murdered someone? Are you still that full of empathy? I know I won't be.
  3. Personally I think life is useless. There is no purpose. The world won't change after you die. You will be forgotten eventually. Existence = useless. Not a nice thought. I hate to think it, and basically I don't want to think about it, and just live my life. But this is what I believe is true.
  4. I could go into detail, but I think it's summed up nicely when I say that the system doesn't fail. No, that system has a purpose. You failed for not knowing and secondly because you're whining over free stuff.
  5. Nice pictures there. Wish I'd took some screenshots of those RSC days. I really wonder what my account looked like about 6-7 years ago. Can't really remember except for a few memory snippets.
  6. When will you stop making completely irrelevant, dumb and plaint idiotic posts? Every post you make just makes me lose more and more faith in humanity. ---- Ontopic. I don't think anyone can predict what will happen with Runescape in terms of years. If you look at a year back, Runescape was a lot different. Let alone going back 5 years, in the Classic days. Totally different. The game expanded, grew and evolved in a way that nobody could have imagined. And that last part is quite logical, since no one here actually works at Jagex, and thus nobody knows their long term visions on the game. Every company lead by a decent CEO knows that standing still leads to the eventual downfall of your product. So you have to innovate, and I think they're quite aware of that at Jagex Towers. Who knows what the game will look like in .. lets say, one or maybe two years? Nobody does. And to people who can actually provide data on lets say, the financial matters, ammount of subscribers or whatever... I'm interested.
  7. I spend all my time on games on Runescape. Occasionally I play a new game.. just to try it for a few days and afterwards I end up on Runescape again.
  8. OO is absolutely great. It does the same as MS Office, but it's totally free. Well, there might be some slight chances, but nothing that affects me in my work. I'm never paying for MS Office again.

Yeah, but when I tell them that, they suddenly know stuff about my mom I didn't even have the slightest idea of!

I don't call anyone a noob, since that word has lost is meaning after being abused by a great bunch of morons. I do get called a noob a lot. Especially when I'm just minding my own business and some guy wants me to play helpdesk for him. Or people that get angry when I won't show my emote. Etc. Pretty much standard stuff.
  11. That would make no sense. The Apple phone is called the iPhone (obviously).
  12. Ofcourse you've gotten this information by talking to the guys that have all skills at 99.
  13. That's their problem. If they can't keep up with all the appeals they should hire more people. I pay for this game, so if something happens to my account beyond my fault, then I expect Jagex to handle it and listen to me. It can't be that I (the user) have to suffer for the actions of other subscribers. And they kinda have themselves to blame as well for advertising this game in area's where a lot of younger people reside.
  14. Yes. Obviously the user made a mistake, but that's one of the reason they call it customer support. Ment to help people with certain issues. Being stupid (note: I'm mentioning this in general, and not in the direction of the topicstarter. I do not know anything about the conditions under which the account was stolen) is not against Jagex' rules, and it is the one who stole the account who commited the crime here. People pay for this game. That way you'd expect a decent support. At least the way to contact the customer support to explain what happened and why you should be unmuted. It's comparable to a real life issue. If you were stupid enough to leave your house unlocked, and someone breaks into your house.. the police will still help you and try to find the criminals. So yes, allthough the topicstarter may or may not have done something stupid.. a possibility to contact the customer support about these sort of account issues should be possible. I find it a total lack of empathy for your customers to not have such support available.
  15. Ok, so YOU find it ok that THEY are in pain before they die? That's just plain cruel.

I ran the 4 miles of Groningen today. Did it in around half an hour. Not bad, since it was extremely crowded at the start and at the finish aswell. I've heard about 20k people participated.. perhaps some (Dutch) TIF'ers aswell?

Who cares about the numbers. Fact is, a lot of people like to train slayer. There's no denying in that. It's one of my favourite skills too.
  18. Here's one: your caps lock is on far too frequent.
  19. 2/10 Well you kinda asked for it.
  20. Well back in the days tip was the only fansite that had some decent information. Did take a while before I registered on the forums though.
  21. Indeed, Ape Atoll is the best. At your level, you won't fall anymore, so those laps should go without too much frustration. You could also check out (I believe it was) w46 running. Running with a group is more fun than alone.
  22. I think it's inhumane and cruel to prevent people from having a death the way they want, in cases of a terminal disease. Ofcourse, it should be performed with care and investigation is needed whether someone isn't just depressed instead of having an honest reason for wanting to die (just to name an example). Should it be legal: Yes, definately, under certain circumstances, people should get the chance to end their lives with a little bit of dignity. If people with ALS (just to name a disease) aren't allowed to perform euthanasia and just have to wait till they suffocate and die, then that's just plain cruelty. I'm glad euthenasia is legal here.
