Games become less fun after a while. That's common practice. You've said you've been playing for 3-4 years... I mean, how many games have you played for such a long time? If you don't like the game anymore, it ain't weird or something. Just quit. Perhaps you'll find yourself coming back after a while, for example when a new piece of content has been released. Personally, I've been playing this game for 7.5 years and found myself quitting a few times.

This really hurts my eyes and diminishes my faith in humanity even more.

Cannoning black dragons along with ranging them works quite well. Also, the hides more than make up for the costs. If you're about speed in slayer tasks, yeah, do babies.

What bothers me with those randoms is that occasionally I get abducted in the middle of a fight. Or, for example, right after a fight when I'm about to pick up the loot. That is extremely annoying and totally unnecessary. A random once in a while when you're, for example, woodcutting... fine. But the hindrance in combat and such is just unacceptable. I mean, the bots are out of the game.. cut us some slack already.

That 55k-60k an hour is only if you pay enough attention. I just got 99 and could never really get those amounts of xp continuously.

In my opinion, RSC was a lot crappier than what RS is today. People stating that RSC was better is just an opinion. I don't think more than 0,01% of the players would go back to Classic if it was reintroduced. Worse graphics, a lot less content, and a lot more hassle with training certain skills. Personally, I had a great time in RSC. But times have changed, the game has changed, and it really wouldn't be any fun anymore to be having to go back to it. Jagex introduced so much more content and ways to play that I'd never ever want to go back.

Equip a bow and arrows and shoot things.

That's approximately the best way to farm herbs.

It's part of the game. Use it to it's full potential and in the best way possible to give you the best chances on the kill. It's really that simple. When it comes to killing one another, I can't see why you'd want to hold yourself back by -for example- not praying.

Just wait until the hype is over. A lot of people will want to try their luck with one iteming. Once they've grown tired of it because of the low success rates they'll be back on the non-pvp worlds. Sure, there will always be annoying one-itemers and such, but at least their numbers should decrease over time.

Let's calculate that... lvl 80 tot 99 is about 11m xp. I used 1100 super energies for that. That would mean lvl 1 to 99 (13m xp) would be about 1300 super energies. At today's prices of super energies, it wouldn't even be over 1.5m. That won't work. You can only do one type of performance once.. the second time you won't get xp. That means you have to do all 10 possible performances in order to get the best xp.

I did 80-99 with 1100 super energies. (I'm still working on it, but I know it won't exceed 1100 pots)

Yeah, exactly. All those summonable familiars have absolutely no purpose or whatsoever. All they do is follow you and make weird sounds... You're so totally right.

Why are you even listening to these people? And worse.. why are you creating a thread about them? Come on, if you have to hold everyone's opinion in RS as it was something serious... They're morons, let them play in their own little world.

The price increases were before the financial crisis hit. And I doubt it's a good strategy to increase prices in a crisis where people are inclined to keep the money in their pockets. By the way, Jagex is not on the stock market, so the effects will probably be not as hard on Jagex compared to other companies. I think it was simple inflation. Prices never increased before. With the release of RS HD, it was a good timing.

This is my first account. Not a single black mark on it, and I'm certainly intending to keep it.

Make as much profit as possible with herbs and buy decent tree seeds with the money.
