  1. I thought they'd stop burning at 96 with gloves. Not sure though, but I do know for sure that the gloves help.
  2. If you want a friendly duel without having to waste potions, then both sides have to agree with that before the fight. You can't just say that because you want a simple potion-free fight that your opponent can't use potions aswell.
  3. What everyone else said: sell it. Fast. You'll have plenty of opportunity later one to buy one, for a much smaller price. You'll regret missing all the money you can get for it right now.
  4. I'm certainly interested. I won't be visiting those worlds myself, but I'm curious on what Jagex made of it, and the effects on the economy could prove to be interesting.
  5. If an online relationship turns into an RL relationship, it isn't quite an online relationship anymore. Ofcourse it's possible to meet people you've met online and develop a relationship with them, but that's different from a relationship that exists purely online.
  6. Rare drop indeed, but aproximately worthless. So nothing worth mentioning, imo.
  7. Lol, your friend is an idiot. Those two things are completely unrelated. You can have a dual OS with just a single core, it doesn't matter at all. I don't know the exact procedure, but you can simply install 2 OS's with a bootloader, and you'll get to choose whatever OS you want to load upon booting.
  8. Dragon slayer could be considered hard. Anyways, it's designed to be a demo. If you want the full deal, you have to pay. That's probably what Jagex designed it to be. So I doubt F2P will be getting any "decent" quests.
  9. That's an amazing achievement for F2P.
  10. Nonsense, members blow just as hard. Anyways. F2P was also able to PK in the wilderness. It's just fair to give the opportunity back to them aswell.
  11. I'd just be off playing a different game, I think. Wouldn't have a lot of impact (if any at all) on my real life stuff.
  12. That's actually not that bad of an idea :o Hopefully they'll implement something that gives smithers an edge over the common armour/weapon types.
  13. It's not an unfair advantage. The potions are simply part of the duelling. If your foe doesn't pot, then that's his loss. Don't make your own fault look like someone else is being dishonorable. Personally I think it's rubbish some people actually call people noobs when they just take the opportunity to use all the aspects of the game. Jagex didn't create potions to NOT use them. They have a use in the game. Therefore, if you gain an advantage with them and you can afford them... you SHOULD use them. Def noob, potion noob, food noob, or whatever are simply phrases made up by people that clearly don't know how to play the game in a proper way. There's nothing, NOTHING, honorable about making yourself lose.
  14. Ok, so there might not be any proof... still, it sounds reasonable. I think there's a fair change Jagex will actually make BH safe. At least the possibility could be discussed instead of just shouting "zomg no proof!".
  15. Not sure, think it was adventurer or warrior. My guess would be adventurer. I picked non-PK'er because I was afraid of getting killed and losing all my stuff. Guess I haven't changed over the years, lol.
  16. Having witnessed the early days of smithing, I can say that smithing really lost its value. Back in the days, when rune was still the best armour, it was considered extremely useful to be able to make full rune. Therefore there was profit to be gained there. Nowadays rune is more of a gimmick, mostly used in F2P. Smithing isn't really of much use anymore. If you're in it for the money, you can leave it alone. In fact, it'll cost you lots and lots of money before you finally reach 99 smithing, and you won't be getting something useful in return.
  17. I think he probably wants something that makes up for the cannonballs.
  18. Well, this was to be expected, since so many internet-communities massively voted for the guy.

It's more than simple psychological facts. You get to learn a lot about pathologies, the way the brain works, and such. But then again, it's easy as pie. You don't really have to be that bright for it, lol. I've done some psychology courses in my medical biology study, and well.. it's not really that much.
  20. Haven't touched runecrafting in a while. It's ridiculously low compared to my other skills.
  21. Kinda agree on this one. Look at the stats in my sig. Never thought I'd achieve this when I first started my membership. Could only dream of achieving so many 99's. And now that I have them.. well... I just want more. The sense of achievement is totally gone. 99 mining cost me a hell lot of time. I spent months and months on mining those iron ores, and now I just take it for granted. Oh well, it keeps you eager and playing.

The biggest fail of the iPod is that it doesn't have a custom equalizer. The original settings make the sound quite flat. I like more dynamic high sounds, and a full bass, and the iPod lacks them. And no, better headphones will not cover everything. It's true that headphones are usually the bottleneck.. but if you have some decent headphones, and you compare an iPod with a Cowon-player customized to your preferences, then the iPod is nowhere. @assassin: talking about marketing.. those Bose-earbuds are also way overpriced. You pay for the brand, just like with Apple. Edit: Oh, I would just like to point out that the sounds quality of the iPod isn't bad. Not at all. It just ain't top notch, and you can get better products for the same price.
  23. The key to beating the fight caves is still being able to switch prayer correctly and keep an eye on those healers. Even with being able to oversee a large part of the caves, you still have to perform that correctly. The fights stay the same. So I'd say.. an advantage? yes.. an unfair advantage? no.
  24. Well, maybe quests keep you playing, but that certainly doesn't go for everyone of us here. Variation is the key to keep everyone happy.
  25. I'm still trying to figure out how to maximalize the xp you get out of the circus. I've tried to not repeat moves I already did, and do all the difficult, high leveled moves. Seemed to work out.. got over 10k xp on each performance. But I wonder if anyone has some advice on this subject?
