  1. http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNew ... 3420080808 Things seem to be getting serious out there.

It's your status or titel. Different post counts have different titels. Personally, I don't pay much attention to it. Basically it says pretty much nothing.
  3. I curse a lot. Personally I don't think it's neccesarily bad, as it's good for venting some frustration. Naturally it'd be a bit weird and indecent to just swear anywhere, but I have no problem with swearing in front of my friends.
  4. Close? Not really. I'd suggest training slayer if you don't want to fight either of those. If you really want to dedicate yourself to charm getting, I suggest greater demons, nechryaels or dust devils. But they give a lot less charms compared to waterfiends and rock lobsters.
  5. It's quite clear that Jagex doesn't like pures, so it ain't gonna happen. And quite frankly, I agree.
  6. I ranged with both dragonhide and full void range, and found that the void armour is much better for training. So, useless? Absolutely not.
  7. I've never seen a pop-up, can anyone take a screenshot? I'm curious.

If Jagex hates morons, then, yes, they hate you.
  9. It reeks of typical American prudism here.
  10. They can detect scripts by your clicking patern. If you click with exactly the same intervals each time, it's obvious you're using a macro. I know someone that got banned for that when he was clicking very repetitively. Luckily he could appeal, but it shows what kind of tools they have. Also, I reckon they're able to detect auto-typers the same way.

Ofcourse they're saying something like this. They want to sell their gold, so obviously they want you to believe that it's more fun to buy and that it is good to do so. Naturally, it's just a bunch of crap made up by a bunch of lowlife douchebags.
  12. Runescape taught me that there are a lot of freaking morons in this world. Sadly.
  13. The point is, it isn't advertising if you look at the context (which Jagex should've done) and YouTube is allowed to be mentioned according to Jagex. Allthough this whole case just makes me cry about Jagex' hypocrisy. How extremely sad to mute people for this.
  14. A lot of the filtered profanity isn't profanity at all. I can't even say damn ingame. Also, I'm from Holland, so I talk a lot of Dutch in the game. It so happens to be that a LOT of normal Dutch words are filtered about because Jagex feels the need to block all possible combinations of letters that only even slightly resemble swear words. Ok sure, swearing isn't needed, but why aren't we allowed to see the words? I can still curse and swear at people if I want, just by being a little creative. No filter is ever going to get rid of swearing and not so nice behaviour in the game. It serves no purpose at all. We still have the report button, right? Seriously, [bleep] off with the filter. And naturally, everyone knows which word above here is censored out. Hypocrites.

[bleep] YOU Thanks, you just totally proved my point.

Calling someone that doesn't agree with your pointless rant without arguments a Jagex fanboy is a good way to hide the fact that you've got nothing useful to say. I mean, complaining about a certain item's price as an argument against the trade limit? It's there for a reason, to stop RWT'ing. And the rule of supply and demand still exists in Runescape. Don't want to pay the price? Your loss, get your own items. Next time, use your brains before indulging in senseless blattering.
  17. Go out. Show him the city where you live in. Talk about what he likes and does in ordinary live. I've had an exchange student in the past. Great fun.
  18. Oh my god, this is terrible! ...wait, a 22 year old woman you say? Where can I sign up?
  19. Did anyone already mention only your fishing level depends on it?
  20. About the "key interception" which is mentioned in the start post... it's all about the focus. If your focus is on the java application that runs runescape, f11 will not work. If the focus is on the browser window in which you run the java application, then f11 works. To get the focus "out" of rs and on to your browser window, simply click on the black space outside the runescape area. Then press f11, and you're set. For me, in Firefox 3.0, it's quite close to fullscreen. The only thing that's left is the "home" and "search runescape.com" button at the top. When hovering the mouse on top of the screen, the taskbars pop on. Very, very convenient since you can still browse and msn while having near fullscreen modus.
  21. Quest? Mmm, whatever, I guess I'll just do it for the heck of it. But I'm absolutely loving the expandable window. I think this means the end of the old small RS window. Only the people with slow pc's will probably still use it. But for everyone else, there's basically no reason to keep using it anymore. Except maybe if you use tools like SK. But wow, nice, really.
  22. No way I'm going to play that game. First of all, I don't like the whole "mech" team, and I'm not planning to throw away over 7 years of Runescape.
  23. Pantera - Cemetary Gates.
  24. Deal with it, and get over it. If you don't like it, don't play. Oh by the way, I'm only counting 4 universal arguments.
  25. Well... all cells look a like in some way. So you could also call it an animal-like cell. The first organism had: -no cell wall -no mitochondria -no chloroplasts -no nucleus ..so it doesn't look like a plant cell at all. More like a bacteria, or an archaea (sort of bacteria, branched of early in evolution). Naturally it's all theory, but basically this is how the proposed tree of life started. I study biology btw, so I oughta now this stuff :P
