About the whole safety issue with competitions, it's generally narrowed down to the question of who should be the one taking the risk? If competition holders give money to the mods, they're the ones risking it. If not, than the pixelers are the one risking it. --- Btw thanks for CC everyone. Hi all, haven't posted a pixel for a loong time. Anyways just got back from a church retreat, which was one of the best experiences in my life. I love the people there, ah, I miss it! Anyways I did this for a no longer existing competition, I guess I can find forgiveness for him even though he sorta ripped us all outa our time...but you know some people weren't raised up as good as others. Poor Benzisto. However I had FUN doing this pixel, lol new perspective (although I messed up on perspective). Please ignore the animation for the water and the castle, it does not look realistic and I was about to change it. Haha now without looking at other people's posts, I SPY GERBILS! Can ya find 'em all? PS: football is annoying, dad's screaming downstairs. Must study for finals.

Cupcake, competitions are meant to give beginners practice =) The ground needs more detail, it's too, green and smooth? Shade the potions There shouldn't be shading on the far left of the shelf because thats where the light source is coming from. He looks sort of chubby Make some ears? Don't outline the fire His hand lacks fingers =) Is it just my computer or is his skin sorta yellow? Change it to a more peachy brown color. Seems like the table is a "board" Good luck in the competition =D Just spend a lot of time and yup. Oh and you need to save pixels as a .gif or .png

Wait are you even done or is this work in progress? His right shoulder is bigger than his left. There is um no perspective on the treasure chest Maybe add a shadow that the treasure chest casts? Forget to shade his face? The shield and sword is too "straight", no one holds a shield like that. His hip or waist area is too low, anatomy wise Erm arms are too short. You could go online and find tutorials on how to shade, texturize, and draw the human anatomy =) Good start for a first, keep practicing

Not necessarily better. It's just that I've gotten used to it I guess, like with the controls and everything. CS is ok, the smart transform thing and text on pathways sound cool but not much of an addition O.o If you've never used 7, don't switch, it's cool since you're already used to CS.

Um. Um. >.> um first off..that aint no pixel cuz you saved it as .jpg. You're supposta save it as .gif. ANd EVERYONE can pixel a p hat in ms paint in less than two minutes. Not to be discouraging LOL but hm try expanding, such as doing MORE than a 20x20 pixel =)
