  1. We don't have uniforms at my school (Although our principals probably really want to make us wear some) but we've had a handful of rebellions. Our award winning school newspaper was supposedly going to be canceled...A whole parade of people marched throughout town protesting. It worked. Then there was the time a popular traditional trip was canceled. A petition flew throughout the school...Every signed it, no response. -.- Then there was the time our really mean assistant principal got really mad at us, and made us have assigned seats at lunch. It was terrible...But we decided to not sit in our assigned seats, not buy lunch, and if we did, throw our lunch at him. I'm not sure if it worked. Revolts are fun...And if you have a lot of people, there's little risk of a punishment. Just say you have the freedom of speech. (In the US at least)

I have a really strong feeling I'm the lightest, skinniest and shortest person in OT. At least out of people that post often. Being Chinese, the usual dinner is rice. This was a surprise to a few of my classmates but I actually don't like Chinese food. Eating it nearly every meal of my whole life does that. If your school is lucky like mine, you'll have vending machines. Get a bag of chips now and then and eat it at home.
  3. Looks like my school has more lenient blocking than some of yours. And my Latin teacher doesn't completely understand computers. I took a screenshot of one of the sites we were supposed to be on, and inverted the colors. She thought my computer had a virus. And some kid download Simcity to all the computers at my school. I never found out who, but I thank him...All those trips to the computer lab to do pointless research would've been a lot more boring.
  4. Oh yeah...I posted this in another thread, but I'll go into more detail here. In 5th grade, all 3 classes in my grade got these accounts. With these accounts, students could send messages to each other, discuss and review books, discuss and review movies, and all that stuff. The teachers could use their accounts to send messages to their students, comment on the students' reviews, change the students' reviews, and all that stuff. Well, I managed to get to the "secret" log-in screen (Page source. URL code.) and get the password and account name for all the teachers. So I went on with a few of my friends, and we fooled around...Let's just say our teacher wasn't happy, and some people were very confused when they logged on after our "hacking". It was really fun...I can probably still do it again today... :XD:
  5. um you shouldnt have 99hp if getting hit for 10's just saying that should be fixed =p He's the rabbit...But then who's Poketama.... :-k Mine should be in today. I might not make one though...
  6. The killing of innocent people can't be prevented. Unless you take away all possible weapons. Leaving us with...Nothing. Unless you're going to have every student thoroughly searched before they enter a school, school killings are going to keep happening. But they can be reduced. If teachers and people with power in schools (Don't know what they call that where you live...Principals where I live...) reinforce the no-violence rule more, then of course, the amount of school violence will reduce. Right now, teachers don't do much to prevent bullying and such where I live. And from what I've read, same with some of your schools. They can't just wait around and wait for violence to happen, then do something. They have to do something to prevent violence from happening. Create worse consequences. Tell students that teachers will protect you if you're bullied, and that it's okay to tell teachers that you're being bullied. Whatever will work. Now, this will probably eventually run back up to the government. So the government also needs to strengthen laws against gun control as well. Like drugs, just because something is illegal doesn't mean people aren't going to acquire them. People do drugs in America, even though its illegal. But making getting guns harder, especially for teenagers, will certainly reduce the amount of school shootings. And to answer your questions... What areas did they happen most? Everywhere. But mainly in urban areas... What ages? Teenagers. What months? All of them. What years? More every year. Why? No true explanation... :(
  7. Hm, I've never been sent to the principal's office other than in 5th grade. What did I do? For one thing...Er...Uh...Nothing? My 5th grade teacher was this old lady, but that didn't stop her from hating all the boys in my class. But there are many things I've done that I haven't been caught for. (No, there was no white powder involved. I swear.)
  8. I agree with Fona, you should do more. Persians FTW! 8-) Are you kidding? If you aren't...[sharpens sword and spear] And WeeBoab, perhaps you can check back when I get around to posting links to each individual picture. I had to make it somewhat slow for the slower readers... penguin, unlike some people here it doesnt take me 15 mins to read a few sentences. could u pm me the speeded up versions pls? Great to see my thread isn't dead. And yes, I'll shorten each slide and post a new link to it. Maybe I can even fit it all in one link now. I'll keep the old links for the slower readers though. I'll do it later...Should be done by the end of tomorrow. Or not...I'm lazy...
  9. I live in Eastern Mass too. Just tons of rain, and heavy winds. A bunch of people in my town lost power, but not me. :D So do I. Weird. I probably know you IRL and don't know it. Anyways... It was raining. I don't live close to the coast, so it wasn't a huge flood, but there was some minor flooding...And my house's ceiling leaked for the first time ever. Other than that, I stayed home to whole day due to vacation (Yay!) and watched TV and played computer games. Both were rather laggy... And the Boston Marathon was a mess. I don't know how they didn't slip.
  10. My logic isn't ridiculous. Less guns, less casualties. That's my logic, and I honestly don't see how you can deny that. And of course there's more to it than just say 'guns aren't alowed anymore', there's still some work in trying to prevent people from getting them. I honestly can't understand how you could say "Let's not ban guns, because criminals will get them anyway". *Gets ready to make really bad analogy* It's like the autoer problem in RuneScape. If you go look a the suggestion board, you'll see a lot of possible solutions to autoers. Some people don't support those suggestions because they won't work. Yes, they won't work. But they'll slow down autoers for a while. Same with this. Shadow says that banning guns won't work because criminals will still get them. But it'll reduce the number of shootings and killings. Obviously, you can't take computer games as reality. But I'd say it's close enough.
  11. I don't completely blame it on the government, but partially on them. Like most of you have said, the fact that carrying guns is a right of American citizens makes acquiring a gun and killing people easier. Guns should be banned. And if someone wants one, they have to go through some long process to make sure they won't kill anyone with it. In fact, it shouldn't be sold in public stores. The Constitution and most of the rights were written a few hundred years ago. They didn't have nuclear weapons or machine guns back then. The worst weapon was probably a rifle. (Am I wrong? Probably.) You can't expect the laws of the United States today to be based around laws written by people worried about being shot by a rifle. Weapons have changed. Killing techniques have changed. You just can't. This goes to show how ignorant governments can be. Not to put the entire thing on Bush and Cheney, but they should've learned about the gun problem way before today. The amount of shootings are rising every year in the USA. The government is to protect their citizens. They're not. And didn't Cheney shoot a guy...? I'm pretty much just repeating what Bubsa and all the other people that have agreed with him. And I did it kind of randomly. So don't blame me if you're confused. I hope no more people die from those shooters. The government, who brought this upon themselves, better stop them. And capture them. And torture them. Then think about how it was their fault this happened.
  12. Did you know any of them? I hope their families will be fine, and hopefully the injured people will recover. School shootings suck. :(
  13. Used to play baseball. Now I only play football/soccer. I suck at all other sports.
  14. My class often goes to the computer lab during Latin to play Latin games . But most people don't. My friends and I, we've sneaked on to a lot of games before...AddictingGames, RuneScape, Tribal Wars, Travian, etc. Hint: Use tabs or extra windows. Unless your teacher is one who understands that kind of stuff, it usually works. Oh, and I hacked my 5th grade teachers account once. It was fun. (Now, don't tell my teachers. They'll get mad. And that won't be good.)
  15. this are suggestions, their not helping anyone either until their in the game. when u suggest your asking for peoples oppinions on your idea. sorry my opinion is that these are totally pointless? you seem to be forgetting that autoers run...?? hence why jagex's latest randoms have needed the use of YOUR EYES, somthing an auto'er doesnt have??? You didn't read the first post, did you?
  16. When would it end? If you run away? If that's the case, or if you come up with some other good solution, I like it! Better than some of the other autoer solutions suggested. But it wouldn't stop autoers permanently. They'd eventually find a way around it...But good enough to stop them for a while...And what about the other skills?
  17. I've met a few RuneHQers. They go to my school. (I'm trying to convert them but they won't budge. Nubs.) Knowing me, I've probably seen Google90 somewhere. Or Fadfdffdfdfdfdfd (Even though he's gone) near Fenway. But hey...I once went to Bordeaux. Not that popular of a tourist spot. I was going to the hotel pool. In the pool, I saw one of my classmates from school. Coincidences FTW/FTL.
  18. I took a look at your post in the mage robe thread....And the reply...No offense to Komodo, but some people just can't see the other side. And good, we actually have supporters that understand the arguments and calmly reply to them, and non-supporters that don't flame.
  19. Exactly. Thanks. Bye. Lock? I think we're all spamming now.
  20. Daggers and Maces - No use in F2P, and other than Dragon Daggers and Void Knight Maces, there's not much use for them in p2P either. Bars and Ores - When you smith, you start with ores. While you're smithing, you have bars and ores in your bank. Otherwise, I'd sell one. But some people like to keep them for that small bit of XP. And yes, random event items area huge problem. I agree, something like the costume room of P2P is needed for F2P.
  21. Stop proving our point. Mining for a month and half to only make 10K? If I mined for a month and a half, I'd make um...Probably nearly 2mil. Well that's me, with 70 mining. You have no skills ranked. That explains it. I'm doing my best from calling you a noob, but any more stupid comments...I'll consider it.
  22. @Supremis - I think you said you supported. Good enough to me. But apparently not for other people, people I''ll both back up and argue against. Jagex can do whatever they want. They can get rid of F2P, they can give weekly updates to F2P, they can give more bank space to F2P. But they won't do stupid things. They'll only do reasonable things. It's been pointed out too many times before how this is reasonable. And F2P CAN protest and demand updates. It's just a matter if Jagex will listen to them. This brings me back up to my other point. They'll only consider listening if it's reasonable. Is this reasonable to Jagex? I don't know. Ask Andrew. F2P gives quite a lot to RuneScape and Jagex. What would happen if F2P was removed...? There would obviously be good sides (No more F2P macroes...) but the most important thing would be a lot less players, meaning a lot less money for Jagex through ads, and possibly even less members. Not to mention the effects on the economy in game. So F2P IS important. They CAN demand updates. They WILL demand updates. Will they get the updates they demand? It's all Jagex's decision. Not yours, not mine. So let's just sit here and wait for their decision. Meanwhile, we'll be gathering more supporters. @Hardy2003 Take a look at a members bank when his membership runs out. Or take a look at the list compiled in the first post. Either way, there's not enough space. @Baron8000 Once again, take a look at the list. To me, there's no useless items other than stuff with no use at all. Random event items have a use - To make you look weird, and to show you've gotten the event. Yes, items like hammers and chisels can be bought each time you need them, but what if the general's store out of stock? What if there's no nearby general store? I suppose taking the extra time to find one is better than running out of bank space, but there are la lot of people that'll disagree. And the people that take a "foot and want a mile" are the people that give F2P a bad name. And like I've repeated many times in this post. It's Jagex decision to give them that mile or not. If they decide it won't have any bad consequences, other than more "foot for mile" complains, they may do it. And like you said, F2P can demand it. The true F2Pers, the ones that don't come in here saying "OMG yes yes yes yes yes im lvl 5 nub i need more space nubs p2p sucks lol nub" would take this update, thank Jagex, and continue playing. And if they feel they owe Jagex something, they'll eventually pay the $5 and Jagex will make more money. My main point: It's Jagex;s decision to go through with this or not. Supporters - Keep on supporting. Come to the next rally. Send messages to Jagex. Get their attention! Non-Supporters - Every suggestion has some. But you don't have to flame. You aren't Jagex. You don't know this will never happen. And using the argument of "They haven't gotten any before, they won't ever" s just proving our case. It shows that F2P haven't gotten ANY new bank space in ever, although have gotten more and more items. Meh, that was long...
  23. Have you ever heard of training SKILLS to get MONEY? If not, I recommend doing that. Jagex isn't going to change the game just to help a few lazy low-levels. I worked hard to make 750K for my cannon (Took about a week of smithing...Very boring...) and you should to. Or, you can buy it off a player for maybe even 500K or less.
  24. I think you need to go see the price of an abyssal whip. Really...7K is less than a rune scimitar. And members can make 750K very easily.
  25. I believe the font is wrong. Use the link in Bloodveld's guide... And .PNGs are better quality are very much preferred by members of this board.
