You heal over time. Resting in cities will speed it up, as will having a party member with points in the wound treatment skill. Good way to make money is just go kill things. Sea raiders are pretty good as they're easy to kill and drop decent equipment for selling. Having a party member with some points in the trade skill also helps here. I'm running around with 600K+ denars, though admittedly I did tweak the game so that the merchants have around 50K denars, so I can actually sell all the gear I get from battles. The size of your party is based off three things: Charisma, Leadership skill, and renown. For every point you put into Charisma, you get +1 to party size. Every leadership skill gets you +5 to your skill, and for every x amount of renown (dont remember the exact number - renown is gained from winning battles and tournaments) you get +1 to party size. Theoretically you could have 1000+ party size if you had a ridiculous amount of renown, but that would take a looooong time.
