  1. You could probably do some speech writing on the side and make a decent sum of cash to help work your way through med school Trap.
  2. A lot of these wild conspiracy theories stem from at least some grain of truth. Bush's association with the Bin Laden family (which is a well documented fact) is a little bit coincidental you have to admit. I'm not sure if I believe the upper echelons of Bush's government staged (or at least did nothing to stop) the 9/11 attacks, but neither did the German's believe that it was Hitler who set fire to the Reichstag. Perhaps my brain will fall out at some point, but until then I won't close off any possibilities.

  4. A better fit would be a benevolent dictator. Someone who's fair but unflinching in punishment of law-breaking citizens. The population could also enjoy freedom of speech and freedom of press (in this imaginary country). Unfortunately, we're all human though, and that much power would eventually corrupt anyone.
  5. I love cold weather, makes you feel alive.
  6. I was in air cadets for a couple years, did guard and whatever; can't really remember since it was a while back. Was fun I suppose.
  7. Bwaha I'm guessing you didn't play Halo 2. Now that game had a lot of cheaters.
  8. What? What do you mean by that? South Park.

    Fringe

I watched the first episode and found the dialogue was pretty bland. They've got some cool episode ideas, but I just couldn't get hooked.

Well to be honest I read a lot of Fantasy/Sci Fi books, and what really annoyed me about Eragon and Eldest was that after reading them, I couldn't really remember specifics about them. Both of them started blending in with other, better books I had read, because the story is so generic and predictable. The characters are horrendously stereotypical, and the plot, though it does have a handful of odd surprises, is so linear it's just not entertaining to read. I know the series isn't done, and that I shouldn't criticize it as a whole so soon, but honestly, 3 (or is it 4) books to tell a story he's simply taken from somewhere else and added different names to the characters? If there's one good thing that came out of me reading those books, it's learning how not to write a novel.
  11. I believe there's already a thread about E3 2008, during which the NXE was announced. So this thread...useless?
  12. You're not even old enough to vote anyways Toast, lol. -- I picked NDP, considering I'm a member and all.
  13. Honestly, I smoke around a pack a day, and I can tell you it's definitely not worth it. I started at just a couple a day like you also. It costs a ton of cash, makes you pretty much inept at anything sports or hell even exercise related, and your clothes will reek. Not worth it in the least bit, quit now if you've started, even if you like it.

That was actually a pretty good email response from cs. I don't see why you've got your knickers all in a knot.

  16. There's going to be a huge surge in the number of people "pursuing" careers in gaming, so no.

Yes but now they have immunity to do whatever they want. I didn't realize that if you tack your name on something it becomes yours, and proves that you did everything in it. "I know not what weapons WW3 will be fought with, but ww4 will be fought with sticks and stones." -Dusty668 Wow, I'm a genius amirite? Yet the Naval Academy is a school. School is about education. Grades are a reflection on your commitment to educate yourself.

    Sarah Palin

If you consider that most people don't want to have business companies having that sort of unaccountability and had voiced that opinion, it is caving to pressure. They go hand-in-hand with McCain. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XNehRSWmvJM&feature=related That might be. However, you have to think about the fact that he wasn't interested in learning new things when he was younger, so why would he have changed now, when it's even harder?
