Honestly speaking I think some people here are just asking for too much. Treasure Trails? Who are you kidding? 1) Bank space is a must. 2) Arrow Fletching & Arrowhead Smithing: Bronze to Steel, and maybe Mithril or Adamant. Just arrows and arrowheads. None of the dart crap or whatever. 3) Ability to drink low-level pots. This way low-level herblorists in member will be able to make a bit of profit. 4) Wandering monsters in the wilderness, preferrably Chaos Dwarves and/or black knights (all f2p+p2p). 5) A bank deposit box at every guild (all f2p+p2p).

Who needs white p-hats when you have Air Tiaras? :P Water Tiaras aren't too shabby either; goes great with rune(t) skirt.

What's the true purpose in life? If you can't answer that, then everything you do is, in a sense, a waste of time, and RuneScape is just one of them, so what makes it worse than others?

1) RuneScape is a java applet. It has its limitations. 2) Don't bump your damn topic two times in a row when it's still on the same page.

More than that. I don't think RS will ever reset; they will only keep on adding more skills grow bigger. They have the money.

Crumble Undead isn't great anymore after the xp cut. A Fire Bolt that does 3 or more damage gives more exp than it (not to mention the small defense xp). Cursing cows is fun, gets you the cow hide + exp, if you don't mind the monotony...

You can already see your combat level when you go to your stats panel though.

I'm pretty sure most people around my level have a two-digit million, if not more. I spend a lot of buying silver and gems from... the general store ;)

Crumble Undead was the best magic leveling spell (aside from high alch) but seems like Jagex halved its exp :(

Or you can see it as a place where skills take more effort to level up, and the willingness to go through the tedious efforts is commendable.

The thing that a lot of you don't get is that SOME OF THESE "MACROERS" ARE REAL PEOPLE IN GAMING SWEATSHOPS. THEY CAN RESPOND TO RANDOM EVENTS AND SUCH. LEVELING UP THEIR MINING TO 30 OR WHATEVER ISN'T GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING.

It'd probably be easier to make your point if you typed normally. Higher essence prices aren't going to be significant. But even if it is, it is a good thing for people who obtain their essence without breaking rules. This is like comparing cheap corporate inorganic food grown by large companies who hire illegal immigrants to do the harvesting and can give less of a sh`t about the consumers to the local organic farmer's market.

We can equip pickaxes and hatchets but we can't equip fishing rods. Back in RS1 we had 30 item slots. For riverfishing, we would use 1 slot for feathers and 1 slot for the fly-fishing rod (or swap with bait/regular fish rod). 30-2=28, we can hold up to 28 fish before we go back to bank. For lobbying or harpooning, we spend 1 slot on the coins (Karamja passage, this is from the POV of a freeworlder) and 1 slot on the harpoon or cage. It's changed quite a bit now. We only have 28 max item slots and after the 2 taken up with equipment, we only have 26 slots available for the fish. Meanwhile, mining and woodcutting had 29 before and 28 now. Seems a bit unfair, hm? The proposed solution would be to be able to equip fishing rods and all the other equipment. They would have no attack bonuses at all (maybe +10 stab and +0 str for the harpoon, but that's probably as far as it'll go) and take up 1 hand. Lobster cages and small fishing nets will take up 2 hand. This way the people who fish can get 1 more fish in per run and over time, that is a lot of fish. That is all.
