  1. Yep, I got this twice: once on my old computer and once on my new. I contacted Jagex about it and I have yet to get a reply. Firefox solves the problem, but Jagex frequently promotes its Windows Client which is based off IE6. Ironically, their only official client download creates trouble.
  2. I like both the sushi idea & the smoking salmon idea. I'm for keeping the fish raw though.
  3. I suppose I agree with most of them, but there's one thing that I'd add: keyboard shortcuts for walk/run as well as switching between tab panels. When my right hand is using the mouse to move around, the only thing my left hand can do is to play with the camera, which gets boring quickly. Using keyboard shortcuts for tab panels gives my left hand something to do.
  4. My rsn is "Treeofmight" but obviously people these days don't know the three simple words "tree of might" so I end up getting called "Treeo" (which I do not respond to).
  5. Try the General P2P section?
  6. Don't bother. Just melee him, because he's going to shoot you either way and you're going to need the food.
  7. Jagex puts priority on skill total over total exp because they want people to subscribe to members for an easier, higher skill total. Enlighten me how it's possible to achieve over 1000 skill total on f2p with only 3 mil total exp, let alone 1500. Either way, the maximum skill total on f2p is 1492, so the example player 1 is definitely a member. I don't mean to be condescending or anything, but with the given examples, "not necessarily" is simply outruled.
  8. Can you rephrase your original statement with better grammar/structure? I honestly can't tell what you're trying to say with that.
  9. The problem is, I've seen macroers hit on seagulls to gain combat level. The earlier combat levels take barely any effort to acheive. As a side note, level 10 ants require level 21 combat for immunity, not level 11.
  10. Player 2, because player 1 is obviously a member. Member skill totals 1200~1500 are a dime a dozen unless they have tens of millions of total exp.
  11. While I believe that the argument that chaos runes should be craftable on freeworlds to some degree is valid to a point, the method you brought up would make things too easy. (postscript: whichever mod banned Aftermath96, you are my hero.)
  12. Good for you. You know, all the things you've said did little, if any, to contribute to the topic at hand. I've already responded to your two points: Adding onto that point, "abandoned mines" aren't lame rocks on the surface, they are obsolete caves/tunnels inside mountains. If nobody mined in the Dwarven Caves, then that would be an abandoned mine. If you have any more well-thought-out reasons why there shouldn't be Yews in the shallow levels of the wilderness, please do state them now, because all your previous posts are nothing more than comments that have little to do with the topic on hand. This is a discussion related to the yew macroing that has been going on in the freeworlds, not whatever they're doing in the members worlds. Obviously you don't seem to be very fond of this idea, and I welcome all constructive criticism regarding it, something which you're obviously not providing. If you don't have anything meaningful to add, please stay out and stop grating my nerves. Thank you.
  13. So tell me, where does this reliable information you have come from then? (By the way, the discussion starting to slide off.)
  14. For someone who's turning 12, he sure has good grammar (in general, at least, I didn't look that closely).
  15. I don't see why they'd do that. In the end, the money is sold for real life money. Jagex already stated that they have no intention of ever playing the game seriously. Why would they have a member's account?
  16. What is your definition of a "true player," and how are they "punished" "ONCE AGAIN"? Freeworlders are limited to the wilderness for runite ore. This is all from a f2p perspective because as far as I know, members get much more yew locations and do not worry about autoers as much.
  17. Step one is to present your idea clearly. If it's pointless in levels 1~3, why do you bother? All you see there are pures fighting other pures. I don't mind it because the more dumb pures that fight there, the more lobsters I can sell (250 each isn't too shabby) in Varrock East.
  18. If you're suggesting this only because you think it's too boring, why do you play RuneScape? (ps: you have a very original name & sig)
  19. The bf/gf crap isn't dealt with in the Stronghold.
  20. Request for a mod to move this to General. That point fails because the monsters are located in the free-world as well. How about marking the members items with an asterisk?
  21. I just noticed that necro said "can" and not "can't" but in the structure of his sentence I think he was trying to say "can't."
  22. What's stopping the kids from logging in? Personally I'd probably just log on to escape the "age 8-13" group, though I hope you guys realize that you have to be at least 13 to sign up for a Runescape account (go try making one account with age "12 and under").
  23. Mhm. They have 8 login servers. 1 was down for maintenance. Therefore, on average, one-eighth of the population couldn't log in. Now it's sorted out, so they took it off so people wouldn't be confused. That's all there is to it.
  24. Hello? AFK = Away From Keyboard, not away from game window or something.
  25. I know a few high levels as well as myself who visit hobgoblin mines and skeleton mines because we despise the guild.
