If you're going to put so much emphasis on a word, the least you could do is to spell it right. Doomsaying is so popular (and made of speculations and fail) that nothing you really say is going to make people flinch an eyebrow.

I'm sure they would be smarter. Another example would be people playing from universities, then go home for break and play at home. Having an account suddenly log in from an Asian country and playing for extended periods of time is much more suspicious.

Lost the joy of wilderness: super-heating ores at Hobgoblin mines, cooking anchovy pizzas at bandit's camp, enjoying wonderful exp from lava maze and ice plateau. Level 105 ghosts are deadlier than any newb pure that's tried to take me down. But to see freed up willow and yew forests (and a significant you've-got-to-be-blind-to-miss decrease in bots, I guess it's worth it. Lose a little, win a little. It's how things work in life. Enjoy what you can. RuneScape is a game, not real life, so there's nothing wrong with being optimistic.

I don't pk. But wilderness is pretty screwy now. I don't like level 105 ghosts teleblocking me and shooting 23's with ice dart at me. That's on 77 magic and 82 defense. Before, I would train at ice plateau and hobgoblins and lava... guess I'll go fight for spiders with the newbs in Stronghold 3. Boring. Though very glad that yewbies have decreased significantly. Maybe I'll start wcing again. For those who haven't seen the ghosts.

Additionally, if you're trying to convert people out of playing games, your first place to start is World of Warcraft.

On the freeworlds, the most you'd probably see at Giant Spiders at peak is 7; on average 1-2 excluding yourself. Also, the back room (pure giant spider) is usually empty because people don't like walking that far back. Ice Giants in level 48 wilderness are beautiful too, but since I've never been a member I don't know how dangerous it is there for you guys.
