  1. For something you can 1-click and sit back (while iron requires 28 clicks), 25 exp per essence is too high. That's faster exp than iron in terms of exp per hour. 10 or 7.5 might be a bit more reasonable.
  2. If you did, you would've caught that the bottom line was for people to have an autoer-free yew. If you didn't catch that, I said it now.
  3. No. Googol is a number. Google is a misspelling.
  4. Don't forget to note that it's regular essence that is dropped on free worlds. *mutters something about section placement of thread*
  5. Meh, I don't ever go into the General P2P section. They could at least bring it into general since this is "the" update that made freeworlders happy too. Well I guess this thread's dead.
  6. Bleh, I'd expect people to actually post in it to keep it up. Didn't see any floating around the top. Thanks for the heads-up anyhow.
  7. I don't think there is one yet, so I'll start it off. When you mass-hunt monsters in the Stronghold of Security, note its drops and approximate its hitpoints (using your gained exp as a guide, because it's basically exp/4). Do note that monsters heal if you kill them too slowly. Use [n] to denote noted items. Don't bother with spiders because they don't drop anything, we know that already. Ankou (level-75) drops: - Coins - Mithril Ore [n] (14) - Rune Essence [n] (15) - Adamant Arrows (13~25) - Black Wizard Robe
  8. You obviously didn't read my subsequent posts.
  9. Use a bit of logic here. Why the hell would I suggest entering it whilst in-game? If you play for 14 hours straight, you don't take the test 7 times, you take it once as long as you keep yourself logged in. If you log out within two hours, you don't need to enter it, but if you log out after the 2 hour grace period, you will need to take the test again.
  10. wc pures can stay at willows or fight with the yewbs. This game isn't supposed to revolve around skill pures. Again, the wilderness yew trees are for real human players who are brave enough to chop yews in the wilderness. I am not expecting macroers to go and chop these, why the hell do you think I suggested the location to be the wilderness?
  11. I clicked on raw lobster to use on the range. It disappeared. After a few more lobsters I realized that these aren't raw.
  12. Or you can just enter it once every two hours or something.
  13. Mailing isn't always safe.
  14. Some of you are missing my point. The early levels of the wilderness still contain traces of vegetation. Go to the Edgeville/Wilderness border. From what I remember, there's even a few oaks in the wild. I don't expect macroers to head over to this yew tree in the wilderness, but even if they do, it would be possible to create low-level pkers to hunt them for their inventory yews. Who would use the wilderness yews? Woodcutters who would rather do things in the wilderness than compete with people who don't even play the game correctly. I would fall under that category. I, for one, don't mind if the bank is far away if it means less people. It's like using crafting guild to farm cows instead of the one directly south of Falador.
  15. Macroers would also get to 60 wc faster.
  16. Please read everything before posting, thanks. Just a thought: if there were yews in the wilderness, people could make level 4 pure's just to kill autoers for yews--that's assuming that autoers would want to venture into the wildy to cut. This wouldn't be a permanent solution to the yewbs (love that term), but it would help reduce the frustration over them for the time being. I mean, there are fishing spots and mining spots in the wilderness (and runite is only available in the wilderness anyways), so why not real trees? I remember the early shallow levels of wilderness still have patches of grass anyways. Obviously these yews would have to be placed away from the abyss entrance route so that members don't get any more headaches. The area above the Mind Altar does seem nice however. Two trees would be enough to serve the real wcers. A whole new brand of pkers ("yew pkers") would arise, obviously, but that can't be helped. Regarding skill pures: this game wasn't designed for skill pures to begin with, was it? Edit 1 The early levels of the wilderness still contain traces of vegetation. Edit 3 Do realize that I am speaking from an freeworld perspective (which is why I say that runite ore is only available in the wilderness). Members get more locations for yews. The vast majority of the macroers are on the freeworlders, and this is a temporary solution to the problem for freeworld yew cutters while Jagex work on a better way to stop the macroers.
  17. Lobster/swordfish prices will fall. I don't like the sound of that. I can barely get 250 apiece for cooked already (used to be so easy before construction, too). I got to 80 fishing on freeworld running back and forth, the new update that enabled right-click board ship only helped me on 30 runs or so (had to do 400+). I don't want any banks/deposit boxes on that island for freeworld.
  18. Ride that moped enough and you're bound to get a random event ;)
  19. How about keeping an window open to browse the highscores? If people are too lazy to do that, to hell with them.
  20. Full camo gives faster mining? Where did you get that bit of info?
  21. My opinions: it's about as productive as celebrity worship/gossip, and I have an apathetic attitude towards them :)
  22. Sounds good. Personally I'd like to see more skeletons and other undead (crumble undead ftw!) types along with the outlaws (bandits, especially) roaming the wilderness so it's truly wild.
  23. I kinda get it ... it would make lives easier but with easier lives comes lower prices.
  24. *stares ate yew trees* right.
