  1. I don't bury bones. I've been playing this game long enough to be completely sick of burying bones. lol After hitting a a certain prayer level, most high level players are sick of it. Not to mention the fear of it triggering a Leo event which is quite a pain once you get the emotes. Its just me, though. Some high level players still bury everything out of habit, and they're prayer level blows mine away. The only thing I bury is dragon bones. I'm just lazy, I guess. The levels are so hard to come by at this point, and my goal was 70, so....
  2. My worst day was being stupid enough to download a pic from a player, which turned out to be a keylogger, which turned out to get my account hacked and losing my blue party hat, which I never replaced. Lost - Blue P-Hat (only worth 10 mil at the time) All cash in bank (P-Hat never replaced) Second worst day was going afk to take burning fishsticks out of the oven and dying at Gargoyles with full dragon and full Guthans. Lost - Dragon chain Guthan Helm Guthan Spear Whip Rune boots Glory Ammy ROW (Everything replaced)
  3. Never get sick of reading this kind of thing. :) Thanks for the post.
  4. How much are snapdragon seeds on the market? How much are snapdragon herbs on the market?
  5. Woot! Now, to figure out how to get that nitroglyeceryn in mass quantity from Digsite. Hmm... *runs off to Help And Advice forum*
  6. Durothean, you officially have "no-drop" luck. 288 trips to KQ with nothing red and shiny. I go KQ'ing with this guy, and I don't get ANY of the drops. He's got this down. Uber prays, takes a dragon mace with specials, and just out-owns me. I'm not used to not getting the drops. If we go again, my friend, you're gonna have to keep the prayers off so you can take advantage of the Leesters' Karma, cuz yours obviously sucks. :P Hehe. Needless to say, we came out empty handed, and I'm out of sharks.. again. lol.
  7. For a short time, there was zammy wizards in the sara wizard spots. The "bug" was fixed, and now its back to normal. If you did clues during both time periods, you might think its random. Its just when you did the clue. Now, its reverted back to what it used to be, and all "old" sara spots are back to normal.
  8. Does this work with the scarfs too? Just hoping. And how do you get mulitple Easter rings?
  9. Lucky you! I'm ready when you are! Hehe. *runs off to Lost City to try to get a Dag assignment*
  10. Hmm. Maybe a new section in the Archive of Wisdom, eh? Glorious idea. Even if its just temporary. My favorite quote from our adventure. N64: I tried to use rope on slave Leesters: Lol. How'd that go? N64: It said "Tieing up your slave would restrict his usefulness" Leesters: Lmao! Yes, he got the Torags. Along with rune boots, 2 sara pages, lava staffs, it was a good package, but it was a good bid. 7 million for a 2 hour slave is more than I'd pay, thats for sure. lol.
  11. One of these days, I might even get a dragon chain drop that I don't give away. lol Thats 2 dragon chains that I've just handed over now. Thats just sick. Yeah, thats GOTTA be a record. Anyway, it was a very fun time, and I'm glad that the gamble paid off. He could have paid 7 million for nothing but an addy spear. Instead he made instant wealth. We had a blast, and I didn't have to slave over a rune rock for 3 hours. Very nice! And I'm just KICKIN' on drops lately. Karma rules! I think I got a Karma Point just reading that post. And I thought I made long ones! lol. Gratz, master!
  12. I don't PK. I am the anti PKer. I think its mean, and should be taken out of the game. But thats just me, and DEFINATELY another thread. :P
  13. Actually, I didn't get "mad", I just felt bad that so many ppl were following me and waiting for me to drop stuff and they were missing the REAL drops. They thought I was TET. There were drops going on, and I had like 100 ppl on me. lol. I left so they could get some drops instead of watching me. For some reason ppl thought I was there to drop, but I was just there to get mobbed. And man, did I get mobbed! It was fun, though, I had a Leesters choo choo train going around Fally of maybe 80 ppl. Wish I took pics. It was truly crazy. And I'm really sorry I couldn't respond to everyone. I turned on my private chat, and I can't tell you how fast the messages were rolling past my screen. It was so overwhelming. Again, apologies to everyone trying to get my response. There was just no way, I'm sorry. :(
  14. Now that one had me laughing my wagon off, literally. lol. Great recap, Odd! That was a great read, even more so since I lived it with you. It really was a disaster trip, but great drops for the trouble, eh? When the mudstaff dropped for me, Odd was standing on it. I go over to pick it up, and he says, "Don't stand on me, goob" "Well, I had to pick up the Mudstaff, unless you'd like me to just leave it" "Omfg!" ;) And doing push ups and sit-ups when you know you're going to be teleported back to almost certain death puts a whole new perspective on that piece of camo (which I left on the floor as I hit the tele button AGAIN as fast as I could) And watching Odd do a happy dance when he got a nearly free mudstaff was worth the trip. Not to mention that I have three pretty little rings in my bank that are all mine. Just need a bezerker ring to finish up the collection. As disasterous as this trip was, it was probably the funnest I've been on yet. Leesters standing at the ladder... "I've got a bad feeling about this trip" I'm offically hooked.
  15. The bid was 4.1 mil, and I split the cost with Cdub. He ended up paying me 750k, cuz I bought his half of the axe. I'll make 1.5 million of a third of the 4.5 million mud staff, so I only paid a total of 1.85 million for the best slave on the board. :)
  16. Well, I might have bought Oddfaery as a slave, but I'll tell you this... He is most assuredly the Dag King Master! My silent partner in this purchase was Cdub, and we were very excited about sharing a trip to Dag Kings and being showed the ropes by one very experienced King killler. Odd, in his wisdom, advised us on all of the tricks and tips of his trade, and of course, I didn't listen very well. He advised that the person who does melee against the ranger is the first one to go. Its a hard job. You have to stay in the middle of the room and go toe to toe with a level 303 claw weilding ugly who hits you for 27 with his ranging [bleep]es. This wouldn't be all that bad if you didn't have to protect from mage from the other 303 maging ugly thats right next to him. So, being the brave 120 that I am, I decided that it was best that I take that role, and let Odd do his "magic" agaisnt Rex the get-stuck-in-a-safe-spot ugly. I wish I would have listened to Odd when he told me that his team usually ignores Supreme (the ranger), and if you either mage Rex or shoot Prime on the edges, Supreme wanders around aimlessly. But if I did, I wouldn't have had the adventure I did. I've only been there once, and if you've never been there.... its not an easy thing. Heck just getting there is an adventure of prayer switching, teamwork, and strategy. And we're in! Chaos begins! All 3 are all over all of us. I find the one called Supreme, and start to attack him, but I notice Rex has taken a liking to me. So, as any typical noob would do, I end up running around the room trying to stay away from Mr Melee. Oddfaery does his best job ever, probably, as he deals with my nooblish behavior and lures Rex despite me being there. Now, that Rex is out of the way, I can focus on my task at hand, and I got seriously owned. Cdub must have gotten bored in the corner, because all he had to do was sit back and pick off Prime who was always attacking me, along with Supreme. Guthan treated me well, or I wouldn't have lasted as long as I did. After about 20 minutes of pure stress, I ran to the corner with Cdub and licked my wounds. I used 10 4-dose sara brews (640 hitpoints in that) and all of the corresponding super restores needed with sara brews, and Cdub and I tele'd out of there together, empty handed. Oddfaery tele too? Please. This guy can stay and live there with a little luck. He kept slaying and slaying and slaying. The time ticked on. Cdub and I waiting for him for close to half an hour as he racked up kills. After 90 minutes of mastery, he finally runs out of runes, and tele's home. No cool items, except for a neat looking Shell Rock Plate, and a half key. We gather our wits, and reload, and I decide that getting owned by Supreme in the middle of the room was not the way to go, so I decide to join Cdub as a ranger on the corner and we will both team up on Prime. After losing a pot to the noobs (Cdub and myself) who don't know how to click on a door to open it, we finally arrive at the room. Supreme must be killed first to get out of our way, and we do this easily when we team up on him. Oddfaery lures Rex over to his mastery spot, and we arrive in our northeast corner and begin the easy task of picking PRime off. I get the drop, and its sharks. I click the button to telegrab it. Wait, thats the blue circle with the C in it. Poof. After one kill I'm standing in front of Camelot. NOOOOOOO! Cdub says "????" I say "****!" I tell Odd, "I messed up and hit tele cammy instead of tele grab" He says, "LOL, I figured." I desperately ask Metalicca if he'd like to go to Dag Kings RIGHT NOW, because I want to go back. (You must go with someone to get through the doors) He says after his attack level in 20k xp. I burn logs. What a noob! I felt much better in about five minutes as I got this.... "I got an axe" Odd says to me in private message. WOOOOOOOOOOOT! Yes yes yes! A dragon axe to complete my dragon collection! I jigged in front of the tele trainers at Camelot, and devoted my love to the Dag King Master! (Yes, I pm'ed him and told him I loved him. lol. He didn't reply) Cdub is standing next to me in a few minutes, and we rush to get ready to rejoin Odd, as I'm really sick of burning logs as they have all the fun. Odd says, "No, wait a second, I'm almost done" Now, when odd says "wait a second" and he's at the dags, its a very very long second. Like I said, he can stay forever. But finally, he comes home, and Trojann has joined the party, along with Met. We have an army now! And we do great! Met and Odd mage the big dude, and the three amigos range Prime in a guthan healing experience of learning on how to own Prime without using food. (Just heal up on the little guys around the corner each time, and all you need is pray pots.) After a few minutes of a very fun time with the three of us, mostly teasing Trojann on his noobdum being the greenie of the bunch, it wasn't long before I was looking at a drop of Dagganoth Bones, Daggonoth Hides, and a MUD BATTLESTAFF! Yes! We got one boys! So I CAREFULLY telegrab the staff, and everyone woots and pwns around the room. Hehe. After many minutes of non-challenging activity, I decide to have some fun and run into the middle of the room and go toe-to-toe with Supreme again. Just wanted to do it once. BAD IDEA! He remembered me picking on him last time, and promptly got very lucky. 27, five times in a row. And then Rex showed up. And I had all three on me at once. My supply of food was gone, and the gobbling of sara brews have my stats down to the 40's. I'm outta here! What fun! Dragon axe and Mud Battlestaff in my bank, I'd say it was very worth it to buy the master! I almost made money on this deal. PS. (The dragon hatchet was shared by my slaving partner, so i purchased his half, and the mudstaff still needs to be sold and split up between the the three rangers, as by then, the slave time had run out) My only regret is that I didn't take any pictures.
  17. Duuuuuude! It was Tip.It karma, man! I got paid back for all the work I've done on here. ;)
  18. lol. It was after that, but you were hardly in any risk of dying. Hehe. But, you never know! I kinda like the guardian angel idea. I just wish I could have bought him a beer. :P
  19. Sweet, maybe it'll be worth training in, eh? Oh yeah, I use it to train on anything that has uber defense. Helps alot.
  20. Naw i get alot of karamja clues and they have all been zammy mage :\ Not anymore.
  21. Yeah. KQ ain't wearing any armour that I noticed. I'm pretty sure it just ignores all defenses, including player prayer.
  22. I think it negates all "defenses", whether it be armor, level, or whatever. The KQ is the perfect example. Jagex has said that the KQ doesn't really have prayers, but the icons are just indications of which stage has uber defense numbers for that attack phase. Verac hits through these "defense numbers", and I can see the difference when fighting Troll General, and he ain't wearing nothing but a shield. Hehe.
  23. Nah, the prices are too crazy. I can make money, but thats just too much. I'm on a slayer binge right now, trying to get to 85. Probably wont stop till I get it. Takes forever.
  24. Well, this IS news, because the Knowledge Base just mentions Zammy mage, and all the places that used to have Sara mages have been zammy for weeks now. Last night was the first sara mage I've seen in a weeks, and I do alot of clues trying to get 85 slayer. And it was at all the places that are in these pics. Either he's back as a standard in the spots he used to be, or you're right, its random now.
  25. "You have found another clue scroll!" Oh man, thats the fifth one! *sighs* Here I stand at the crate, looking at a clue with coordinates on it. "5' 17 North 31' 17 East" *looks at north number* Hmmm... thats not the wild, thats good. *looks at east number* Oooh, thats very east, thats gonna be in Mortanyia somewhere. So, I pop the numbers in the handy dandy Tip.It coordinate locator (Whoever made this... I love you) Oh man, this clue is killing me! Now its the Nature Spirit Altar. Thats probably the longest walk in the game. As I sit there trying to think of some genius way to get there, I decide to just get moving. So, I bank up, grab some energy potions, and get as light as possible. Without Sara wizard anymore, the treasure trail inventory is much easier now. I bank all weapons and food. I run down there, stripped of armor, wielding only my air staff. I dig, and low and behold... the wizard is white, not red. Hey! There aren't supposed to be Sara Wizards anymore! I pop on my mage pray, and promptly get owned by his dragon dagger. I have no food. I have no armor. I have no weapon. I have no chance. So, just like any other noob, I run away after I get down to about 20 hits. He's not even half dead. Pounding him with an air staff doesn't cut it. So, now I'm standing in front of the prayer altar's entrance, thinking I'm gonna have to bail, and walk all the way back. Then the karma comes..... Someone walks in. Yes, someone actually shows up in the most isolated place in the game just at the moment when I need help. He sees me and stops. "Hi", he says. I speak as I stand out of the Sara Wizards wander zone, as the wiz is wandering around the area aimlessly "Hi. I wasn't ready for him". "Yeah, hes tough". "Yeah, but hes not supposed to be here. lol" "?" I didn't feel like explaining that they took out all the sara wizards on the recent treasure trail update. "Do you need shark" Do I ever! "Oh, that would be great" He trades, and gives me two sharks, and I give him all my laws I have on me for payment. I eat and start to pound on the wizard again. I get owned, of course. "Why are you pounding him?" "I don't have a weapon." as I run away again outside of the wizards attack zone. He trades me. "Here, borrow this. Give it back, plz" A whip shows up on the trade screen. I think, wow, thats kinda silly of him to trust a stranger with a whip, high level or not. I say "I will, I promise" He accepts. Sara Wizard dies quickly, and I give the guy his whip back. "You really shouldn't trust strangers with million dollar items like that" "Ur not a stranger. Hyt." "Lol. Hyt" On world 2, even. He takes his whip, and walks away. "Good luck with ur clue" Poof, hes gone. *blinks* Thats the most nonchalant hyt I've ever gotten. lol. Looks like all these posts I've made has paid off in a special kind of karma. Clue turned out be crap, btw. lol. But it was my most memorable clue scroll ever. I wish I noted your name, Mr hyt guy. If you read this, thanks amigo!
