Okay, lets say I'm at work... Now lets say I can't get into RS until later tonight... Now lets say that I want to start this new skill when I get home... Now lets say some nice Tipiter tells me the best way to get started on this thing. :) What do I need to do first? What equipment do I need to get right away? What tips can you give me to start? Free saw plz? lol

You can't use a cannon in the slayer tower or slayer dungeon, but other than that, its all good.

I just got 85 fishing, and using the Lumby stove, I still burn every once in a while. Would like to know the exact level, also. Maybe my next cooking level will be it. :)

Oh no no no, Kimosabe! Unless you enjoy gobbling up those little green potions that don't last long, you just must take the supers and learn to manage your colors. :P I suggest putting the restore pots way down at the bottom of your inventory, and putting the anti-poisons waaaay up at the top, using your sara brew to seperate them. And don't make the same mistake I made by taking Super Energy pots instead. :P Your next training mission, if you agree to accept... will be to watch how we heal ourselves with our guthan on the little side dudes. (We've yet to name them other than calling them the "side guys") These are the ugly dudes on the outside "moat" that pop up and pester you with range and mage attacks. This isn't necessary when switching on the two big boys, because fighting the ranger (Supreme) heals you all up real nice. But we'll worry about that one later. :P

Nice story bro! When I first heard it, I was impressed with your concern to returning the items. I believe in that silly "Golden Rule", and I know I'd appreciate getting my spear and helm back. Karma points to you. This was definately a surreal trip. It just had an odd feeling about it. This was a very enjoyable trip. And the Kings gave us zero drops. Valerie got to go on a new adventure, got some cool new clothes, and had the pleasure of being stripped and dressed by yours truly. Cdub's moping for no drops turns into a story of 10 mil profit. I raked in 20 Daggy bones which is 10k xp at the ecto grinder, and had a blast doing my favorite thing in RS... Prime/Supreme switching. Trojann displayed great maturity when we all declined to go on another trip and didn't pout. And I even evolved the process. Next time, the "entrance" routine is gonna change a bit. SOMEone is going in and standing next to Prime so the Supreme slayer can use range pray without having to worry about Prime's attacks. Don't know why we didn't do this before. Who's volunteering? *grabs Valerie's hand and forces it into the air* Muhahhaha!

Not exactly. Why do you think Verac Helm's are rare? They ain't worth that much for nothing. I'm glad they're rare though seeing as how I got two of them in my first 15 trips 8-) . Verac's helm is more expensive because so many are lost in death. Same thing for spear and helm. Its not because they are "rare". Its because the demand is higher because those items are lost more. I wouldn't want to guess on how many Verac helms the KQ has eaten. She should include them in her drop lists! Hehe. All barrows items, from the coif to the spear has an equal chance of coming from the chest. The supply is the same, its just the demand from deaths that crank up the price.

I would love to see a "threshold" symbol of some sort. 85 mining allows you to buy a tinted rune pickaxe. 99 in any skill allows you to get the "99 cape" in that skill. 85 slayer lets you wear the Abby Necklace. 90 crafting gives you access to the store that you can buy an Onyx hat. Silly ideas off the top of my head, but so many things they could add. Would be a majorly cool update. Most importantly, the 99 sparkle should be bloody dam FIREWORKS! :D

Oh no no, you dont' HAVE to kill all six to get an item, it just increases your chances. You can go kill Torag, get 1 kill count, and still have an outside chance of getting a spear. Its happened. I've seen it firsthand. Took a friend down there for the first time, a very scardy cat, had her kill 1 Torag, and open the chest just as a training run. Dang lucky cat got a great axe.

Hey give the guy a break. Hes a merchanter. He makes a living on making predictions. :P But, lets be realistic. Obviously, they are now going to be working on the carpentry/construction skill as one of their top priorities, but who knows how far along it already is. Maybe its close to done, and the next couple months. Maybe they are starting from scratch and will be out before Xmas. One thing is for sure from the hints, posts, and graphics..... Carpentry/Construction is getting worked on by Jagex.

Took me a couple hours to get 8 hides. The rockshell takes a couple hours to get 3-6 drops of stuffies. Can't guarantee what items they'll drop though. Might take awhile to get all the pieces you need. Don't Dagganoth Kings drop hides 100%? Yeah, the Kings do drop 100%, but I was talking about the level 90 dudes at the entrance. You don't have to do the kings to get the hides. The level 90 dudes at the entrance before the team-doors hit melee, and they are a wee bit tamer than the kings. lol. But they still whack you around the room. If you go here expecting the dagganoths like the ones in the tower, you're gonna have a short trip.

Almost ready... ;) I've spent the last few hours of my RS time being a bank geek, getting duplicates of stuff I didn't have markers for, and selling stuff I didn't want to keep anymore. 33k choas sold to the Tzaar store to get an onyx stone. My clicking muscles are actually sore. Bahaha! Hours spent at the wassalisk walruses getting bone pieces and dag hides for a second skelly set. Trading this for that, and that for this. Almost ready. All I need is another warrior ring that I lost at green dragons, (Rune plate, rune legs, whip and barrow gloves keep over warrior ring, btw) I'll post a pic very soon.

Yes, never ever. He can hit in the 70's when he's near dead, and this is just about when pray pots run out. I always safespot Dharok in the tunnels using the northeast rock room.

Just curious, where was Lanterna?

By the way, the chain that I gave Trojann, he did sell, but he split the money with me. So he is still kosher. :P
