Runescape 3 is coming this summer...(BTS Bonus edition)
That assumption was based on what we got told when they released the new bestiary, which would only run on Chrome. I don't know about any others, but Firefox 19 currently has HTML5 support. I'm sure that by the time RS3 goes live we should be able to use any browser we want. This is likely due to a quality assurance thing where they disable support in non-chrome browsers. That or each browser implements some things differently (Firefox can be notorious for doing this sometimes). Probably Jagex only tested bestiary in Chrome. That or they simply haven't coded in work-arounds for the other browsers that don't support features in exactly the same way and the bestiary breaks due to this.

High Tier Item Access
Basically, in general this would be better, and I like how it enables some of what they did before (monsters weak to stab would be weak to both arrows and rapiers)

18-March-2013: Dealing with games of chance
(I know the quote'd above isn't really disagreeing but this comment was the one that sparked my post) The physics of property makes sense, someone can own it, sell it, buy it, transfer it, steal it (not legal ofcourse), and so forth. These things all reflect properly on the way we treat it in law. Information has varying laws and we lump it into "intellectual" property though this is sort of a misnomer because the various concepts are completely separate things (copyright, trademarks, patent) A person can create, and share information. I don't believe you can steal information, though you can certainly "learn without permission". But that's not the same thing as stealing physically. Interestingly, there is something called Landauer's_principle which discusses thermal entropy regarding computing. It is theoretically possible to compute without wasting energy. If designed properly and the computation is reversible, then no energy is theoretically necessary to perform the calculation. This doesn't necessarily work in practice due to other concerns, but where I'm coming from is simple. To duplicate physical property requires energy in forming the product. Generally speaking the effort involved in creating a new copy of an original physical item is lower, due to not having to design/etc. However, you might consider this design process as information. Copying information is, on the other hand, practically trivial by comparison to generating it. Information functions as a "hard to create the first time, easy to copy, easy to share". This makes the idea of scarcity of goods a complete farce which is what drives prices in an economy. (Supply vs Demand) Humans as a culture has decided that this scarcity is important and we legislate around information to make it artificially scarce (not legal to copy, etc). But what I'm trying to say is that these ideas don't rest in the physics of information (how it works) but simply because someone who created the law, and this person/group probably did it to retain some form of power.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
Some people just get unlucky crew rerolls.. and a few of my friends complained about "pincers crew" when they really meant ox-heads.

200M in all Skills
Ideas this could be: 1) Adding F2p? (unlikely) 2) Adding every player's stats without the minimum requirements 3) Adding other aspects of the game to the highscores (track other minigames etc) 4) Adding tracking stuff???? (please? I would love an official always updated stat tracking provided by jagex themselves) I can't really think of anything else it could be.

Runescape 3 is coming this summer...(BTS Bonus edition)
Because the same 1-2 people keep moving it there. The things I am most excited about is the tear-and-share docking, being able to move windows and bars around could be very interesting. Also the draw distance. I wonder if that means they will add moving graphics for the models on lower floors (so you can see more than just the static scenery below you.

Ofcourse this happens just as I'm about to get 99 slayer...

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
They also should look at the balance of their abilities vs the levels, because it seems random at the moment (higher lvl abilities don't seem to be more effective...)

High Tier Item Access
That would be a much nicer system, and enable better results for various types of setups.

That auto-allow changes thing is only true because the original terms and conditions allow Jagex to make changes. And ofcourse that can be ruled in court as not an enforcable part of the terms and conditions if the company doesn't put enough effort to let users know the conditions have changed.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
I would like to see more differentiation between gear, but the new combat definitely has improvements over the old.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
Just because I complain about it, and like multi-way toggle the way it is does not mean I don't understand the wilderness. I don't have to like it, and I can certainly enjoy updates which help me.

Except JoD are better (well, the first one per ship at least)

Best Basic Rotations
Actually it says it does no damage, but i've noticed that it does damage as well as stun.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
Because many of us like that we can toggle to multiway? I love that on multiway-pvp I can hunt penguins and have practically no PKers, cause they know that they could just be piled by people there.

200M in all Skills
He didn't vid the actual obtaining 5b. That's just vid of something later.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
They should automatically target when we click and setup auto attack, but allow us to use ability inbetween if we want. At the very least, we should have the option to automatically have left click target instead of attack. Also, should automatically path to the enemy if we aren't in range. Spell/weapon effects should count for abilities (ancient magic effects, etc) these currently only work on auto attack.

I failed a lot too :(

High Tier Item Access
Every MMO with constant releases continues to suffer from the problem of dead content due to new content outclassing it. There is not a lot they can do without simply never outdating content, (which is boring because people want new shiny)

Where are all the good guides?
Actually Jagex would suggest using Pernix for melee'ing. :P
-
What updates would you like to see in EoC?
I don't mind sacrificing realism for obtaining good gameplay. That means converting strength to a general skill applying to all range/mage/melee would be good. It fixes a lot of the disparity between the styles and doesn't feel too out of place.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
Letting us drag the individual icons from the summoning tab onto the action bar. (Ability, Call, Attack, etc)

What's wrong with playing RuneScape, honestly?
We think that communication over text, or video is the same as being physically in the same room with your full attention and focus on someone but it is not. When I'm chatting with a clanmate neither of us can be sure that our full focus is there. I can't tell if the other person is having more conversations, or whether they are fully focused on me. Also, without body language a lot of levels of communication are lost. Even in person it has become difficult because it is becoming (or has already become) socially acceptable to pull out your phone and get on that even in the middle of conversations with people. That continuously decreases the level of intimacy of communication. Personal face to face communication is important, but we are getting less and less of it.
