  1. But those don't track actual xp rates, because it lacks information like how many can you do per hour.
  2. I really hope they let us though, because I'm tired of not being able to do that. I also want to be able to see all the curent "timers" on our character, like juju mining, dragonfire etc, in a little window showing how long they have left. Sort of like abilities have a little clock rotating around as it drains, so that it is obvious how long we have left.
  3. Sadly the interface beta still doesn't show things like jujus in the buffs/debuffs window. Nor do those things have a timer related to them, I really want that as I hate trying to find ingame chat message.
  4. I love how smoothly it rotates, but it seriously shouldn't "zoom in" when I rotate up! I want that zoom distance top down view!! I also dislike how if you have multiple chats open you can't really easily select which to type in when you press enter to type... As for effects, chenw you can move that by going into edit mode and selecting edit game hud. That will allow you to move things. Oh! Big minus. WE CANNOT RESIZE BANK YET. Definitely good, and I like being able to zoom in a lot. We can't put the dungoneering minimap up always, but at least we can resize the regular minimap to see a lot more.
  5. Which is why the rocks should only appear if it wouldn't destroy an item :)
  6. That's a lot more difficult because you can't as easily just assume rates are the same as you level up. Rates at lv99 aren't the same as rates at lv1, and it varies inbetween. Granted over half the xp is spent at 92+ but that doesn't mean half the time is spent at 92+. The time till 5b xp rates stay constant bar jagex updates.
  7. The reason is because the HTML5 featureset is unlikely to change. The interface alpha may be more open to changing and adding functionality.
  8. And.. please say that other buffs display like juju timers? (with their timeout???) that would be amazing.
  9. 100x yes Best part of the entire update. Not for me--I've completed them both. :boohoo: But the quests can be added/updated, unlikely the combat tutorial will be.
  10. That would be nice, but I imagine since the rate you can make them is pretty low (except rocktail soup?) that they may not have considered it. They definitely should add it though, as long as the rock never shows up if you inventory is full (no chance to destroy items!)
  11. Use the scroll wheel and zoom out! Can't wait till I get home!!!
  12. TBH what the guy says is pretty obvious: we can move stuff out, around, tweak things a lot. What I really want to know is can we customize the action bar keys so that we can change which action an item does..
  13. No, but they probably don't want to remind people of old content that is outdated compared to recent updates. So they may be less inclined to do series parts of really outdated content (elves) without also giving a fresh coat graphically at least, to the old content. I don't know for sure, but I bet that's part of the pressure causing old series to not be done.
  14. No. Alpha one was always its own server.. that one is more likely to provide crashes and stupid xp glitches than the HTML5 one ever could.
  15. Definitely they have had people who worked on quest lines leave... Also, I think they loath continuing old quest lines because of how old the content is they feel like they'd have to redo it since the current quest would outclass it too much otherwise.
  16. That makes sense considering that they said java client will still be supported, as the new interface has too much advantage to be optional.
  17. But hopefully they can fix issues quickly :)
  18. To be fair, jagex does have pressures different from a novelist. The longer the quest line goes the higher it is for new players to do (barrier to entry) and many players don't even know about a lot of things simply due to lack of awareness of aspects of the game. They should be better than they are, but they do have pressures of newer players who weren't there during the release of old quests. But yea I get that they really should finish old quest lines.
  19. TBH, I would've been happier with something that destroyed charms (and couldn't collect) but clearly most people want the latter. I would personally rather make monsters more interesting in a different way though. Some how capturing the essence of charm pickup but making it more part of the fighting itself. I don't really know how that could be done though.
  20. We'll see how they improve it as the weeks go by :) I tried again today, and I didn't reallk notice a huge tone down in brightness on my outfit. I think that's more to do with solomon recolors not working though, as all the recolor spots on my outfit were bright lime green.
  21. I really hope they do something like TzHaar but also add more NPCs doing stuff, like how they go through doors and haul ore, and have more dwarves doing general mining/work in the area. Make it feel more alive. Definitely could also add an extra teleport to important area would be very useful. I voted Gnome because it's one of the oldest quest lines. Pirates would be interesting, and dwaves I only didn't vote for because they had the King quest, which was pretty decent "not quite ending", and fairly recent compared to last gnome quest.
  22. Keldagrim could do with a huge layout rework.. it's annoying to navigate.
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEiT7esACRo Thoughts on which quest is most interesting? I clicked to vote for Gnome, because I prefer that they finish the older series...
  24. Can't wait to try again tonight :)
  25. This is true. But I think the fact that people are posting it, it may help jagex overall. I don't expect most people to do those things as it does require pretty high technical skill.
