How does that work? It becomes a permanent boost? or only the next voyage? I was pretty sure those boosts only work for a single voyage.

6hours give's you a fairly good view on how much xps it'll be average, especially with this big amount of blockable tasks and the point system to skip tasks, in my opion Ofcourse you can't go say it's exact to the xp etc but I doubt it's very far off The reason you can't use 6hrs for slayer is because a lot depends on how many slayer points you have to use for skipping bad tasks.

He wears magic hat, boots, gloves, all of which do not impact your hit rate for melee (only body, legs, and shield have a negative accuracy for off-style penalty)

Your thoughts of 2 NEW RS SKILLS
I always thought they could apply the concept to main world routing using agility. Eg at level 10 you can jump over narrow (1sq) segments of the River Lum At level 20 you can jump over stone walls etc. Hard code it into automatic routing and all of a sudden agility would be much more useful as it would shorten your travel routes even in non-click through shortcuts. I really wish routing would automatically take and/or aim for shortcuts.

Right, I believe you can still "attract" the adventurers you don't hvae the level for but the no one shows up. Also, I've gotten only 1 adventurer despite having all 6 available, so it might be helpful to increase odds of multiple captains.

I think a third ship will be more difficult to focus solely on cherrywood missions because those are more difficult, and it becomes more troublesome to send out 3 high success ships. But being able to do 1 cherrywood and 2 slate, that could be very handy :)

That could be interesting, but again I'd like to see it differentiated enough from prayer (maybe have some bonus interlocking like how agility and thieving do for pickpocketing)

I think it would be good but it depends on how easy the scythe voyages are. If they are too difficult you will need more resources to buy the new crews etc. I personally like your idea of doing scythe + hook missions by alternating the area in between sending. This way you can also maximize your chances of success (I imagine 3 ships will be more difficult because it needs more high level crew which at first will be rare)

They can always add new gathering skills that 'could' be part of existing skills but aren't. Ala mining and smithing similar, but I hope they don't I do feel like they should rework skills, but that can't be a reason to delay skills at the moment if they have solid ideas. This is because a reworked skill to 99 provides either huge benefit or no benefit to the players already level 99 (depending on what kind of rework it is)

The occultist claims she is immortal, and wants to kill herself. She believes that other people will find her and abuse her for her powers to grant imortality. There is supposedly a ritual which can remove her power, and she's going to attempt it but needs the 3 parts.

Did you dismissed crew region all together or replaced them gradually? That lastest worked for me and still getting 96%-100% on most voyages, then again, I also have chimeras and sirens that are level 5+, and don't think I have any crew member that's lower than level 3. I just sent them to level up on easier missions (gunpowder and bamboo ones) first. I only just got chimera's, I never got Sirens, so that put a huge dent in some of the double missions (double seafaring + combat) and the voyages got significantly more difficult. I only just got Chimera last night, and yesterday my missions were 5500 doubles, 6500 or 10k singles, and 3500 triples, all of which are for me about 65-80% first the first two hook days I managed 100% on most of the missions. I am going back to bamboo/gunpowder once I have enough crew to bother lvling them up. (and to try to unlock sirens, that mission never showed up again after I got an unlucky failure)

Sadly voyages for a region seem to get progressively more difficult, as I was able to get 100% on most voyages in the hook, for the first few days, with out upgrades and other things. But they got more difficult, faster than I could buy the better crew and deck items.

20hrs a day only reaches you to 140hrs/week.. you'd need another 1hr per day which is only 3 hrs of not playing per day.

I believe trade good rates will go up as we get to new areas, which is why I'm not bothering doing any of those missions. Scrolls I will do if they are within reach, but I still prefer the resource voyages, because I need resources to buy crew.

No one is permanently losing the old rate unless they lapse membership. Kimberly is talking about getting 12 months for higher than the grandfather rate, but her poor choice of lose effectively made everyone confused.

Ok, I think I will attempt hook to upgrade my crew first. Does anyone have a rough estimate of how likely I would be to fail hook missions? I'm a little worried that I will be assigned too many missions I can't succeed...

I reached the Hook with my last voyage today. I am planning on sticking to the Skull for a bit to buy the two buildings I need and level up crew, that's 3500 gunpowder. Does anyone know if I still have a chance at getting Hook voyages? I would like the chance at a few but without risking completely stuck with missions I can't get yet. (I am also still trying to get the Siren mission as well..) If anyone could confirm whether or not I get some slate missions that would be nice :)
