  1. I wouldn't do it, as then anyone who has access to that fb account now has access to the rs account. Not a good idea, although it is convenient.
  2. Ok, I'll try C2 ticking floors :) (Better than rushing..) I might bind cosmics anyways :) Thanks a bunch for the help!
  3. The issue with copyright is that it tries to apply a physical idea (property) onto a virtual idea. Sharing an idea means benefit for everything, detriment only in a sense of loss of control. Sharing physical property actually means depriving yourself of the benefit of using that property. The idea can be copied for free (the only hard physical limit on information is deleting it. Yes, it does cost some energy to realistically copy information, but its not a minimum physical limit.) A physical item can't be copied for free (have to at minimum have the physical elements of the item) Property has physical laws, (I own it because it is in my possession.) Ideas don't follow the same physical laws. We create laws as society, but they don't have the same physical analogs, because these break down when applied to information. It is illegal in most places to break copyright, because the society has agreed. Whether it is *moral* or not is a much different story, and you will get different answers depending on how you choose to evaluate morality of a course of action.
  4. Correct, I agree the anti-bot system deserves millions of times more credit than Jacmob's work originally. But that doesn't mean he has no skill. Whether his actions are moral or not is a different question.
  5. I have a couple questions regarding fishing methods and obtaining experience. 1. What is the average XP/hr doing low-alch barbarian fishing with urns and the granite lobster? 2. What is the best method currently for doing C2 fishing in dungeoneering, and what is the xp/hr rate for this. 3. What about the normal afk style fishing methods, shilo and monk fish rates? I am trying to get to 91 fishing for the fremenick elite tasks, and trying to determine what the best method for me is. Thanks
  6. Gradeskip, it might no longer be possible to get them again now.
  7. It's also been a nice place to discuss efficiency regarding methods for obtaining 200m, and discussions that are semi-related to the main topic of 200m All skills. I've found the thread quite entertaining and enlightening.
  8. While I agree that sharing or using a bot client is wrong, the creation of automation scripts is a unique and interesting challenge. Just because the use of something is wrong, doesn't mean it takes no skill to automate. I agree that it goes against the spirit (and rules) of the game, because it means any and all achievements are without value. Saying Jacmob has no skill is wrong. It takes impressive skill to automate a ton of the complex actions in the game, especially to continuously avoid detection from the anti-automation systems.
  9. Bare in mind it's sort of luck based. I have >500 kills before that stupid decaying avatar showed up. (Not sure which gloves that is for though) I would suggest only quitting if it will really slow you down, as some of the bosses don't show up until floor 6 (or was it 9) endurance, so if you quit on things that show up sooner, you lessen the chances of getting the one you need.
  10. That is an interesting question about whether SUOMI's lead is too much. one way to look at it, is to check hrs needed for 200m all based on the theoretical players. Then assume SUOMI is roughly 15hrs a day most, compared to 20hrs a day.. I don't have the data on hrs left to 5b xp though.
  11. Yes. This is because F2P and P2P cannot interact with each other easily (for good reason!). But it does segment the community quite a bit.
  12. Cmaul would be his best bet. Goliaths would require a large number of quests wiki says at least 20 quests, and you need specific ones for the goliath gloves themselves. Plus it would take a while. He could do it, but cmaul isn't much slower than goliaths when maxed turmoil + ovls.
  13. If he saves enough time on attack doing whatever he's doing now, then it would be best to do the best charms (lobs) instead of . However, I don't have the spreadsheet chops to tell you which would be better..
  14. I'd like to know how I can learn to be a master of time and play 30 hrs a day <3
  15. It wasn't long after the initial release where you could select your character type, and that gave you some starting items.
  16. Partly it is customer demand. Many of my friends who don't play runescape really dislike it because the early game was so slow and didn't give access to fun enjoyable content. They got mad when they saw me teleporting everywhere, and running around doing stuff that was more interesting. I don't want to see free handouts, (otherwise you devalue the sense of achievement) but its definitely important to keep the beginning game engaging for new players.
  17. Well, I would rather use a teleport spell if I'm already going to have jewelry (castlewars tele to bank, elder kiln ring teleport etc) but you're right these are a lot more convenient overall.
  18. They're more than sufficient for general getting around, but not competitive against teleports for being quick. I would still rather use jewelry for doing serious training, rather than wait the 5-10 secs it takes to teleport via the home teleport. Overall, I think its a great update. It simply increases the destinations that home teleport can take you :)
  19. The lodestones are nice when you aren't in a hurry. Also nice for not having to carry around jewelry/runes. But by no means overpowered. Teleports are cheap enough already that I'll probably use them a fair amount still.
  20. I'm mainly complaining about the fact that the items cost so much relative to how much we can obtain. (Especially considering you have to upgrade, can't just buy the best version). I also made some sub-par decisions regarding what to obtain, and that bothers me, but I can get past it. What I can't get past is how we are stuck at max 15k a month. That bothers me a lot because stuff costs several times 15k. (It will take forever just to get one, let alone multiple different t4s)
  21. I really wish i could get some of the crap auras I bought refunded: Equilibrium and knock-out, as I would much rather get increased versions of the ones I actually use. I would also enjoy refunding emotes I don't like.... Everything is just too expensive.
  22. You just need a smart phone with java enabled. Not sure it would work great. but fairly sure it could be done...
  23. No, but we have easier ways to do it now :)
  24. Correct. They simply never log into a members world.
