Why Bacon?
Sounds nice. But is it real bacon or crappy American streaky bacon?

whats the UK like?
You may find there is less space, ie gardenwise and stuff since there is so much more land in the US. That's all I can think of really. :wall: Ignore that. :P Also start getting into 'soccer' (but call it football!) and other British sports such as Rugby league, Rugby Union and Cricket. Ignore the guy going on about tea, it isn't drank that much, although a cup of the is the solution to most of lives problems :P And left side of the road

Anyone here on EMA...
Find out the thing you press on the keyboard to get it (ie alt and some numbers) or copy and paste one. I don't get EMA but have some friends that do. I think that it is slightly unfair really because people's parents could earn over ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30000 but not be as generous or whatever. I tried to be fraudulent and say that I lived with my dad so i could get it but it didn't work :(.

What's Your Favorite Drink?
:D I used to be unbelievably addicted to that. It was last summer holidays and I used to just get an urge late at night (sounds dodgy :-k ) so I'd have a treck down to the 24 hour garage to go get one. Never thought to just get a bagfull #-o . But then it probably wouldnt of tasted as good :P I also love mountain dew and it does my head in that we can't get it in the UK. Does anyone know if it can be ordered on t'internet?

Seek God in need...
Not really. If one prays and asks for task X to be completed, and instead one simply "feels better" (perhaps because a feeling of responsibility has been removed), yet the task remains incomplete, then the purpose of the prayer wasn't completed -- the person praying has just been mollified. Whenever I pray, which isn't very often, mainly when I'm pretty upset, I don't pray for a task to be completed, I just pray that I, and others feel better and the certain situation is resolved. Is someone (ie God) listening? I don't know but it makes me feel better and isn't harming anybody. Prayers, as far as i know, aren't generally to get a task done but it is just people wanting to talk to someone or have someone listen and a sense of belief or semoething to happen.

At 12pm today we find out what exactly is going to happen with Leeds :) . It wont be the end of it though, because if Simon Franks' offer is accepted, Bates will sue. And if Ken Bates' offer is acceoted, he will still be in charge. :( Either way, Leeds fans wont be seeing the end of that old c u next thursday #-o (gotta be said)

Salo Or The 120 Days Of Sodom-Advise
I'm 16 (17 this sunday), possibly too young but I'd say I'm mature :-k . I know what it's about like but I just dunno whether actually watching it would scare me senseless. I'll wait and see if Daan drops by on this thread to see what he says. I'm in no hurry.

Salo Or The 120 Days Of Sodom-Advise
I made this thread just to ask people that have seen this film if it is worth watching. I really want to watch the film but im also genuinely worried that it may mentally scar me. I've not really watched that many films that are disturbing or churn the stomach, the worst one being requiem, which was a sad film but hasn't really affected me. So yah, basically would you recommend it or advise me to say away? :-k

Seek God in need...
Suppose I do. I am not christian at all but I would say that I believe in God. I find that it just helps in life having someone to talk to (not literally like) but to look up to kind of :-k

The new 7 wonders of the world
- Did I draw a short straw here?
Without sounding selfish, I'd be pretty pissed off in that situation.- Ok, im a little bit worried
Haha, I used to always 'borrow' course works but i actually would put it into my own words. I did it a couple of times to my mate and got a better mark :D . But if he has copied it word for word then you need to just tell your teacher the truth, that you thought he was borrowing it for tips but it turns out he copied it. You are not in the wrong now and won't be if you tell the truth but otherwise you will be.- Everyone has their price
I wouldn't do it. There would still be 1000 families mourning.- Are the days of real entertainment over?
PES mate, PES!. But yeh i see what your getting at, I wa playing the first command & Conquer today which is almost 12 years old but still brill. With music, i reckon all of the modern rock/ indie stuff just all sounds the same. Razorlight are the blandest band that I have ever listened to. There are obviously exeptions like the Arctic Monkeys which are quite different but the majority is poor. Telly is knacked like you say, Saturday nights in...poor. I mainly just watch sport on TV now other than the odd show. However I think there are still some pretty decent movies coming out. I don't think that we can judge how good or bad they are until we look back if ya get me.- Bad 4th of july...
Haha, amen to that! :P isnt global warming what causes the mass rain? ice caps melting slightly, more water in sea, more being evaporated into clouds, more rain? They were only joking - Bad 4th of july...
They really should have played on middle Sunday. Poor Nadal, 4 days to complete one match. And Justine went past Serena. Hurray!!! Even though Serena is of course blaming her loss on injury... when will she have the decency to acknowledge Henin's genius . Aaaanyway, back on topic. We've had nothing but rain the last few weeks here. I go to work by bike, I've been wet through at least once a day. Bleh. Our national holiday is often rained out too, but that doesn't really stop anybody from celebrating :D. And sharapova is out :(- Bill Gates looses richest status
Ya or perhars do it similar to the tax bands. Say ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5000 charity free ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5001-̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã15000 at 2% ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã15001-̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã40000 at 5% ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã40000+ at 10% I dunno really but thats an example.- UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Ya, I was thinking the same. As long as Wenger stays, I think that they can be mighty again. Da Silva looks like ha can be a class act. - Did I draw a short straw here?
