  1. This has been added to my to-do list and you've been credited, thanks. :)
  2. These have been added to the list for the revamp. Thanks! :)
  3. Moved due to lack of replies.
  4. Well, I am very sorry to disappoint you there. I quite liked remembering my variations. :P To add what was previously said, some "scammers" or "hackers" try to get recovery information out of players by befriending them and casually asking them for their recovery answers ("What's your favourite food?" and what have you). Therefore it is also recommended that when you set recovery questions, they cannot be guessed by others - not even the ones closest to you. Using codes or "passwords" for unasked questions would be an example.
  5. Kaur's creative accusations aside.. To answer the OPs question, everyone would be wise to remember not to use the same passwords on different sites. That includes mail accounts, forum accounts, RuneScape accounts, and whatever other accounts you may have. If they had access to your hotmail account you should ensure it held no sensitive information. If it did, act accordingly.

Go back 100 years and then see. Emancipation is something relatively new, and not something that is even worldwide or complete. That said, the coin has two sides. Need I to start a list with double standards against women? Does elucidating your preferences somehow change the truth value of the claim? It does occur, and it's not uncommon. It's exploitation of a judicial system that's very biased for minorities and women. I'm sure that will occur, however I'm not convinced it is common. I assume you are aware that most rape victims do not dare come forward because of the pain, humiliation and stress that comes with accusing a man of rape, and that a poor number them are even convicted? I'm also fairly certain that if a woman were proven to abuse her husband she would be convicted for assault like a man would for abusing his wife. Point is, double standards exist to the advantage and disadvantage of both males and females. At the end of the day it would be nice to see equal treatment for all though.
  7. Not discussing an existing problem will not make it go away. They should be acknowledged and people should be educated. That said, I do not believe dedicating a month to one particular ethnic minority is the answer. I pretty much agree with the below. The idea of reverse racism was mentioned earlier by someone, which can be argued is just as bad as racism or discrimination based on ethnic group. Elevating any ethnic group over another goes against the goal of mutual respect and equality; black, white, green, yellow, or whatever colour someone may be - they're all Americans, and if anything, that could be stressed.
  8. Just started in Terry Goodkind's Soul of the Fire. So far so good.
  9. Of course not. It won't stop criminals, but it may get them to not to injure themselves as much. The point was, however, that I don't really see a reason for them to receive free healthcare, whereas it may cause certain criminals to reconsider certain dangerous acts, knowing it would come along with a nice medical bill if it goes wrong. Of course I'm not saying it will, but I do reckon it may be possible.
  10. Not providing free healthcare for lawbreakers does not equal providing no healthcare for them. In a situation where it is a known that criminals injuring themselves whilst breaking the law (excluding minor offences as discussed previously) will not receive free healthcare- it may discourage them from behaving such a way. Of course they should be given healthcare when needed, but (in my opinion) that does not mean it should be free and paid for by the society they harmed by whichever criminal activity they were doing whilst getting injured.
  11. Though that may be possible, I don't think Jagex's current financial situation is so poor that they would have to fire someone that works on new content just to hire someone else to help the coders to fix one issue. If the coders, or whatever you want to call the team that fixes things like lag and FPS, are undermanned, they may need to hire more people.. but you don't even know if they are. Perhaps the problem is just really complicated or takes a lot of time being fixed. That said, even if they are undermanned, that does not mean that new content should be stopped being produced. I believe Wisse's point is more along those lines: i.e. it makes no sense to stop team A if team B is undermanned or not performing fast enough in your opinion. Team A is irrelevant to the work that team B does, so the notion that updates should be stopped to fix your issues is illogical seeing how the teams (or departments) work on different things.
  12. Last I recall you do need to go to Oziach during the quest, after starting it at the Champions Guild. If someone having done this quest recently or who has not yet completed it could clarify if the current quest guide (quoted above) is in error, that would help.
  13. [/hide]My friend, you have spoken words truer than what my mind brings me. Except I just think MMG has destroyed this game ever since they hired the idiot. To be quite honest I don't see the logic in this. Sure, I understand that you dislike the hiscores being P2p only, and frankly I don't see why Jagex did that, but it shouldn't affect game-play as such. Having been F2p for years I don't see how it became worse than it was. F2p gets updates, graphics look a lot better and whatnot, dungeoneering (though limited), etc. The only issue I appear to read here - and please correct me if I'm wrong - is that some F2p players appear to be displeased for not being given certain things that were given to P2p. It still is a free to play game as you can still create an account and play an unlimited amount of time without paying for it. I do not see how the game that was free to play in 2004, is not still free now. If anything, there is more F2p content than compared to then, so what exactly is the logic behind that statement?
  14. Just so you know, we do. Also, higher life insurance premiums. Unfortunately not the case here. :( Anyhow, to answer bxpprod's earlier question, I would distinguish between "intentional" harmful acts that are also dangerous to others and acts that are not.
  15. I would distinguish between minor crimes and those that are more severe, hence me using the meth making as an example. To respond to your examples: drunk drivers - yes. Like creating drugs that is intentionally putting not only yourself but also others in danger; drugs are harmful and drunk drivers may hit others. In cases like these it is not hard to stop and think that maybe it is a stupid and dangerous thing to do, not only for themselves but others as well. Riding a bicycle without a helmet is common practise in my country and not considered dangerous, but we do have bikers and cars separated at all times. Either way, not wearing a helmet may be negligent, but not necessary a danger to society or a severe crime. I would not consider someone neglecting to wear a helmet a criminal, whereas I would consider people that make drugs or kill someone whilst driving under influence criminals. As for smokers. Smoking is perfectly legal, so with regard to the original statement not very relevant. That said, personally I would like to see smokers pay additional health insurance fees due to their choice to smoke and the resulting increased risk of lung cancer and related conditions. This risk is intentional because everyone who smokes knows with what risks it comes.
  16. European countries didn't sign then. Today this article was posted, saying that all EU countries signed save mine, Germany, Estonia, Cyprus, and Slovakia. That happened yesterday. Though I can understand why they would want to, I can't say I'm very happy with it. According to law in my country it is perfectly legal to download music, TV shows and movies (just not copyrighted software) from host sites - uploading is illegal. As such downloading legally has worked quite well for me, allowing me to follow TV shows that are only on paid TV here, or not at all. For both shows I actively follow I could not watch it on TV now buy any of the DVDs unless I'd like to have them shipped from the UK or US, which gets you area code crap and is rather overpriced if you just want to watch something once or twice. If this agreement and SOPA stuff were to be part of a new internet where there is a place where everyone, regardless of their location, can legally download TV shows and movies (and pay a small amount for every episode or so), I wouldn't be bothered, but with the current system of "Americans only" for "legal" streaming and no DVD releases in half the world they don't lose any profit if I download those - yet they take my entertainment away without gain for themselves.
  17. This. In the case of making meth - I do not see how anyone is forced to do so as was said earlier. If criminals do something stupid and dangerous that is their own choice and responsibility. "Innocent" law-abiding people should not be put at a disadvantage because of a law-breaker's stupidity, nor do I see why tax payers should be paying for non-essential health care if the injuries were caused by a law-breaking action such as creating drugs.
  18. Banned for not having given me a guest article.
  19. Hello qwertyx45, Welcome to Tip.It and thank you for posting. :) Jagex is known to make mistakes on their site, so we'll have to look into this before we can change it. For example, I am pretty sure you can have more than one cat or god bird. I did fix the mistake you pointed out here and credited you.
  20. Thanks for those images Ambler! <3: I've updated the entries and credited you.
  21. You can use the magic wand tool in paint.NET to do that. That's how I did mine. Ms Julie http://i.imgur.com/h04Pv.png
  22. Hi H2PM. :)
  23. As far as I recall, megaupload took down copyrighted material whenever a claim was made. Just hope other host sites don't follow.
  24. Hello again Whyte_Wych, Thanks for your submission. The drops have been added and you've been credited, thanks.
