  1. I did most my magic superheating while mining and alcing stuff I smithed. Next to that I did a fair bit with casting Fire Waves on Black Demons for slayer. Might I suggest that if you decide to do a little combat-related magic, you raise kittens (when not summoning anyways) to sell them for 100 death runes each. That'll make some money for blood runes if you can use them. Feed the kittens cooked shrimp. That's cheap. Superheating: Mining ores to superheat would be good, but if you don't wish to mine here's some prices for you. Nature runes: 257 Gp Iron ore/bar: 145/326 Profit: 69 Gp Coal: 208 Gp Mithril ore/bar: 371/1494 With coal: 4*208+371+257= 1460. Profit: 34 Gp Adamantite ore/bar: 1280/2797 With coal: 6*208= 1248. Profit: 12 Gp Alcing: Buy things in the Grand Exchange for around 250 Gp under the Alcing Value if you can, otherwise for such a prize to minimize losses. Mind you that this is a slow way of making some extra experience. I did the last 60K or so experience for my magic 86 doing this. Items I alced with profit: Rune Longsword. Rune Full helm. Adamant plateskirt. Items I alced with little loss: Adamant pickaxe (bought them for around 1700 Gp). Of the items mentioned, the adamant pickaxe would be the one that buys fairly quickly, the other items take many days. Other than that you could also just fletch yew longbows to alc with profit, or if you do wish to level mining/smithing you could always smith bars and alc the platebodies you smith. If you choose that, you'll only get profit when mining the coal (partially) yourself.

  3. Homework I just finished. :D Which reminds me, I still have to do my math... :wall: Beer.

  5. Sore throat. Yes, I just wasn't sure so I googled images on the word. Mind you that English is my third language... Google proves quite useful compared to dictionaries for nouns. Food.
  6. Codpiece? You made me google. :wall: Google.
  7. People gather them anyway, as said there are ways to obtain them in sufficient amounts, just not the way you would prefer. That said, I do agree with you that rocks containing mithril, adamantite and runite should contain more than one ore. This not being the case with lower level ores is a good thing if you ask me; I'd absolutely hate mining to become another AFK skill. I feel I have, but I am one of those crazy people that enjoy mining. The point in training a skill isn't merely its function, but it should also be, to put it in crude simplicity, fun. :D Comparing it with woodcutting or fishing, I do enjoy training mining for a longer period of time more than either woodcutting or fishing. That may sound strange since I mastered woodcutting and not mining (yet), but it's true. Sure mining takes longer, but you can say the same about skills like farming for example, which you could count among the gathering skills. In all honesty, I trained woodcutting mostly while watching tv shows on my computer or when I had a full clanchat/friends to talk with or while busy on these forums, and I fish when I do homework (I'd need the computer anyways for math and such). Mining is a skill I can just set my mind to and go for. Nothing like a good old bit of mining to pass the time and gather some bars for smithing. This also is what makes mining an unique skill. ...But that's just me I guess.. Call me crazy because of it. I see what you mean, but that doesn't mean the skill is nerfed. It merely allows one to draw the conclusion that you don't agree with it. Though if I may give you a tip: you might want to buy the adamantite ore anyway, and obtain the coal through your chosen methods. I'm a miner and I can't find myself fitting this example. Personally I don't agree that it isn't an improvement. Sure, it's small, but at least they released it. If you ask me it should have been released along with the dragon hatchet. It's also unfair to assume Jagex released the dragon pickaxe to deceive you, or anyone else. -.- I'm sure they see it as an improvement too, and in this case I agree with that.
  8. It says 5:31 am GMT... That's like half an hour before I get up?

Thats what most people do, just idiots cant be paitent at times does waiting for 32 hours buying santa hats and posting crap load of threads at RSOF make me impatient? and does it constitute posting 2 simple solutions that doesn't do jack can help me any better then not knowing them? I bought my fourth (or so) santa in the grand exchange.. Max offer, adjusted it a couple of times, but finally did get it. It's a rare and it's rising sure, but you'll get one eventually. No need to fuss so much about that. You could also try every santa owning player you see for a "max offer", but I'm sure you can offer way more in the grand exchange at max, than in a person to person trade. -.-
  10. There is the matter of the "lending scammers".. They'd let dumb people pay for hours, do until log out, and log out lol. What I did the other day was lend my santa to a guy with a 5k trade limit. I let him pay 5k first, and then trade him the santa for the second 5k 15 minutes later. I guess that's also a way someone could scam, fortunately for that guy, I am honest.
  11. I saved them for you and harvested some more trees today. I'll be online same time (20:00-21:00 Central European Time), feel free to pm me. :D
  12. Says the idiot that wrote this.
  13. Can't ride bikes? That's.. I don't have words for that, actually. :? I'd suggest public transport, but in the whole of your continent, public transport is badly managed, crappy and worse than insufficient.. That said, there's no decent minimum wage?

    437. :D
  15. You must all have crappy jobs if 4 jobs isn't enough to support one family.. In my country people with little money don't get cars. Cars here are much more expensive than in your country. Besides.. There's bikes for a reason. What do you need cellphones for if you can hardly afford them? I don't have one... :-# Ah yes, the capitalist system sucks.. You don't have decent social resources in your country, or continent for that matter. Poor poor people. :? Still, assuming that every kid can get a job that earns more than 0,01 an hour I think it´s quite possible. -.- Don't start saying I'm rich, because I'm not. I work for my membership, so can you.

  17. Okay okay.. Just don't make me tell you to get a bucket of chill pills. It was supposed to be a compliment? :wall: Anyway, very nice pic.
  18. I don't even lag when there's a ping of 250? Redownloading Java might help, or killing some processes.

You could always do Hobgoblins near crafting guild (telegrab limps or whatever)... or lesser demons. I don't think you can do moss giants without Dragon Slayer.. Anyway, upper level ranged is a fail in F2p.
  20. Lol, I just wanted to ban you for posting on page 1337 when I saw there were new posts.. Banned anyway :-#
