  1. Sorry, but low level quests with no difficulty, challenge and horrible rewards don't cater to me or any serious gamer. Nice job lumping all 90% of non pker into one group.
  2. Like I said, Bunyips work almost as good as Unicorns since you won't be taking much damage if you are good. And it's not strange to prefer longer trips to faster kills. A lot can happen when you bank, including getting side tracked, people stealing your spot. I just got another 2 D Claws in 3 days, and both drops came after at least 20 kills. The 2nd claw came after someone else came and asked if I was close to done before hopping -- 2 kills after that. If I was continually banking, I would not have got that claw. In most cases, staying longer and more kills is better than faster kills. And I don't hit constant 0s.
  3. You don't need a unicorn to do Artemis Method or his spot. Bunyips work as well. I can stay down there indefinitely with 4 pineapple pizzas and bunyips, as long as my prayer lasts. If you use a whip, you will be in more situations where you cannot avoid the damage. When you are just D Hallying, you will only be in that situation if you are praying range when a trapped demon uses its charge attack. But if you are in melee range using whip, and are praying melee, you will also be in that situation. So it's just a little extra damage that you will be taking, but enough damage to make the bunyip method not as viable. When I get enhanced Excalibur, I might try the whip method again. I still use the whip method sometimes if I don't have al ot of time and just want a quick 10 kills. That said, I have 99 str and 99 att and D Hally is just not accurate. It's rare that I can kill a demon before a second shield, but I only use Combat Pots so I can fit more prayer pots. Even though it's slower in the long run, staying down there for 30+ kills without a unicorn still seems better.
  4. Whip isn't better than GS here because you can't take advantage of its higher dps and speed when the demon starts switching prayers. Burst is superior to sustained damage on these guys.
  5. Who else thinks (or hopes) that the release of Dungeon Maps will coincide with the release of a new dungeon (another GWD?).
  6. That's the feeling of tremendous shame. Weird how easily 99 Cookers can get the two feelings confused. Too bad you're horrible at RS and can't get any non combats. Balance your skills out then come and talk. You're what? 135 combat with 3 skills in the 50s... Oh please, you're the one who should feel tremendous shame. Wow, you're the RS god for sure. I mean, your only non combat 99 is one you bought instead of actually training it the way it was intended. Unless I'm mistaken and leveling all your skills to some arbitrary number ilke 70 means that you reached the true pinnacle of Runescape. My bad...
  7. Just don't pick a stupid password like I did -- I was hacked for over 200 million by someone who knew me in real life back in September. I quit RS because of that and just came back a few days ago. They took everything, even the glories. Of course, they still play Runescape and apparently have been walking around with a Red Phat on and AGS.
  8. You have to figure in that this is merely a damage REDUCTION. You wouldn't have 200 hp in one inventory spot, you will simply have saved some damage. The prayer deduction also means that you wont be able to use it at area's where prayer is neccesairy, since you will more easily be outa prayer. The shield is good yes, but not as good as the 70% chance of a 25 damage reduction one. ----------- You're right -- it's better than the Elysian Shield. With a unicorn, you could theoretically stay at KRee as long as your pray last because a unicorn would be able to heal you enough now that you are recieving 30% less damage. So just bring all pray and only a few emergency brew and get a lot more kills at Kree. And at the Beast itself, the Divine Shield would be best.
  9. Muggi, thanks to your guide I completed the Fight Caves on Sunday. It was my fourth try -- I had used another guide and guthans for the previous three, and then saw your guide and did it without Guthan. I wish I saw it earlier. Your trick for standing in the way northeast corner while killing the last 360 before Jad was very helpful as well. I had Rune Xbow with 500 rune bolts, Avas accumulator, fury, ranger boots, verac helm and skirt, black dhide, barrow gloves and archer ring. Inventory was 6 sara brews, 2 tuna potato, 16 super restores, 3 range pots and whip. Again, thanks.
  10. Most obvious is that he has two zeros on him which means he was attacked by two creatures.
  11. In three days of powermining iron at the AL Kharid scorpion pit, I got 3 mime events, 1 freaky forester and 1 drill sergeant. I always have a full inventory of iron, and drop 3 at a time. I usually only get a mime type event during peak hours when it's very crowded. So far I got the mask, glass box emote and climb rope emote.
  12. My question is similar: why even make mith bars to sell? Selling the coal and mith seperate will get you more than 1k and save you time from smelting, which is different from Steel bars, whcih actually give you more money than the ingredients are worth.
