  1. It is a life. It isn't potential life. If left alone (and not cut out of the mother and flushed down the sink), that child will be born. And the heart starts beating around the third week, not the sixth. Please, get your facts straight. The baby only resembles a "ball of cells" until the first week. You'll find it has a distinctive human shape after that. "The fifth week is the time of the first missed period when most women are only just beginning to think they may be pregnant. Yet already the baby's nervous system is starting to develop. A groove forms in the top layer of cells. The cells fold up and round to make a hollow tube called the neural tube. This will become the baby's brain and spinal cord, so the tube has a 'head end' and a 'tail end' 'head end' and a 'tail end'. Defects in this tube are the cause of spina bifida. At the same time the heart is forming and the baby already has some of its own blood vessels. A string of these blood vessels connects baby and mother and will become the umbilical cord. There is now a large bulge where the heart is and a bump for the head because the brain is developing." That's between 5-7 weeks. http://www.askbaby.com/foetal-development.htm If you want more, just ask. We learn in school that the heart begins to beat at 6 weeks, and there are many other places which can verify this. http://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-first-trimester/162599-does-babys-heart-start-beating.html This is a mother's forum who  have all had children. Again, if you want more, just ask.
  2. So those unborn babies will never be productive members of your society, is that what you're saying? At that precise moment, they are nothing more than a parasite feeding off their mother. They may well grow to be productive members of society, but the planet is crowded enough in areas without (using your numbers that have no source still) 90,000 more babies per year in 1 country. How do you know if they'll be productive members of society anyway? Again, give me a source or I'll just assume the numbers come out your [wagon]. How do you know that all these women having abortions are productive members of society? http://www.webhart.net/vandee/abortstat.shtml Firstly, thank you for finally providing a source. Secondly, I'll bold the relevant part that may help your understanding. I didn't state that they all were productive members of society, if you'll read again. EDIT: Got a number for years beyond 2004?

  4. How can they be dead if they never knew what life was? Anyway, want to give some sources for your statistic and your number? Or is it your [wagon]? Frankly, I'd choose to lose the 100,000 potential lives, rather than lose 10,000 mothers who may well be productive members of society.
  5. So, lets then call abortion for what it is: murder. You'll agree with me that stopping a beating heart is murder? So you agree with abortion for the first 6 weeks? It doesn't gain a heartbeat until then, so by your definition, it is not murder. EDIT: Something for all you pro-lifers. Say we ban abortion, now, assuming the mother can't get it in a country where it is legal, what happens? Backstreet abortions. Which is better? Legal abortion in a safe environment done with sterile tools, or a questionable abortion which poses a lot of risk for the mother too?
  6. Look at the post time and that makes you a [puncture] anyway. Besides, you know it can't be true, but we won't get into that here.
  7. Go back to your tea and crumpets, you damn Judas Englishman.
  8. Dammit George..Not you too! Regret: Knowing these Judases.
  9. I think Ryan might actually be more interested in you now. I say you go for him. [hide= For Ryan]This is for saying I should listen to Kaye more, you Judas.[/hide]
  10. Eaxctly. There are so many children in orphanages waiting to go to a good home, rather than brining a new one into this world. Thew only excuse I can think of is wanting to give birth to your own child...or having some sort of genetic influence... That's really why I'm a bit *eh* about all sorts of medical things such as IVF and whatnot. If you can't have a kid, but want one, it's much better to adopt one imo. There are thousands of children out there that really need a home. Women *are* biologically driven to have children, but I don't see why they can't adopt instead. That's why I plan to adopt if I ever want a kid in the future  You pretty much explained why they can't adopt in your post.
  11. Why not use Papayas for farming? If you can afford to do this, use Payapas then use the fruit gained from that do to a a lot Palms then use the coconuts from that to protect some Magic Trees. A rather expensive boost, but will save some time.
  12. The description says at lvl 97 or 98 w/ holy wrench. Ever noticed the size of the description text? Really easy to miss.
  13. You can't assist prayer anyway. And yes, for things like that, you need your own levels.
  14. you mean teleing to slayer tower and walk south to the ring? That's hardly faster (if at all) than glory tele to edge and use the ring east. And neither are direct teles (which he asked for) at any rate... No, he means teleing to the Slayer Cave and clicking the Fairy Ring there.
  15. Well there's the whole graphical update to Zanaris, including the Fairies and the Orks. Adding in some new areas too. Not to mention it probably won't be a huge team working on it. So yeah, it's possible it took a year, including revisions to some parts, some original concepts can get changed at a later date for example. God..Why do you people think this is so easy?

    Today...

Gtfo nub, lead-filled bats are so last month. It's all about sharpened tooth brushes these days. Sharpened one end, razor blade melted in the other end. It's what all the cool kids have. Plastic Spoons. About the most dangerous weapon you can have.

    Favorite sayings.

    Fixed. http://xkcd.com/291/
  18. Heh..So someone points out a flaw in what you said, and you immediately say that they knew what you meant? Obviously had I known what you meant, I'd have replied differently. Don't assume everyone has the same train of thought as you, as in cases like this, it is easier to take the literal meaning than some obscure hidden meaning only known to the poster. As for something that annoys me.. Relying on others to pass a class at college when they show both incompetence and arrogance.
  19. Who said anything about Japan? Asia is a pretty big continent..
  20. I have no problem with it, I just get angry when I can't understand them Um, what? --- Asian couples. I swear to god, I walk by these two asian couples between my classes and they swing around across the hallway hugging each other or whatever. You expect them to stay on the right side of the way, so you walk towards the left, and BAM. You almost got knocked over. :wall: What does that have to do with them beign Asian? They go all Japanese anime style and bounce around all over the hallway. Both couples are just asian...and do the exact same thing. :-P Again.. What does that have to do with them being Asian?
  21. Damn Abc..If your sense of humour only stretches that far..Is it surprising people don't like you?
  22. Get your parents to go and get it from the school? Although, I think they can only keep stuff until the end of the year.
  23. The BNP got in power? How?
  24. Red needed a Pikachu.. Hell, whenever you say Pokemon, people should immediately think of Pikachu. Everyone loves Pikachu.
