don't tell me i look like 40 years old, i know i don't and maybe you should know that it's a bit hurtin', telling someone they look old never really makes them happy. forget the background, i don't think i'm doing that, it's a portray, it doesnt need a background. the color choices are actually mine eckered :P they were inspired as in the way batman inspired from superman, total different products (just an example, i don't know if this is a fact). Just C\C on the pixelation and not on opinions on how people think it could be improved? he has listened to my cc on various occasions on rsm, like on the last two, i was the one to recomend to make the ground more gray, and less red-brown, i was also the one to sugest flowers. same with the first one; i told him to make the ground more tirquoise, and he listened, and tried it. i dont think its fair that you should say he never listens to cc, when on other forums, he listens to cc all of the time.

i think the dragoon needs a dark shadow on the side of the neck, so you can tell its a bit seperated from the wings.

gimp has more filters, brush capibnilities, tablett compadibility, unlimited layers aa and no aa, rgb layers, grater capibility on shapening and bluring, greater color contrast abilitys, and more blending modes. gimp pwns j00 =) sry pjb, had to do it...

when you do pixel art, you must create every aa by hand, which im going to assume you didnt. if you are using a brush or a pen tool, you have to check off the "no aa" button. i sugest you use a simpler program such as microsoft paint, and after you get a bit better, graphicsgale. in dementedheros tutorial, he uses layers. they are nice, but not usually nesacary. i sugest plain old paint tbh. looks like uve used pen tool, or just the pencil tool on PS tbh.
