1. The Boss for the quest is much harder than his combat level. Don't underestimate him. It took me 3 attempts at level 90-something. He can use cranes and carts to injure you if I remember correctly, and he teleports around. It really helped me to bring energy potions to help you run around and hit him (I did the quest before summoning, if you have a terrorbird, Level 52 Summoning, that would greatly help!). Good luck, you can do it!
2. Thanks! =D> I thought it was the Fishing Guild too, but the Fishing Guild Shop does NOT carry harpoons, just feathers/bait in the main stock and fish in the player stock. tyvm though
3. I'm wondering where the closest fishing shop to a bank is? I need to buy harpoons (for a tertiary summoning ingredient), is the Catherby fishing shop the closest shop to a bank? Thanks!
4. Wow, nice blog. Thanks for your support and good luck on getting 99 magic. Hope you get plenty of dragon drops from those metal dragons!
5. Set up a cannon in the red zone that I highlighted.
6. I heard Daggnoths are excellent ranged xp (multicombat zone in the Lighthouse basement). Cannoning Kalphites is pretty popular too, and you'll rack up a decent number of blue charms.
7. You can do it with Slayer though...Slayer is like training 3 skills at once: (1) Slayer (obviously), (2) Attack/Defense/Strength/Magic/Ranged/etc and (3) Summoning (you'll have a ton of charms after tasks) Why fight Greater Demons for charms when you could be assigned Greater Demons, get the charms, and the Slayer XP too? :P
8. W00t. Managed to removed the dreaded Warped Terrorbirds from my Slayer tasks. Also, I finally got something decent from a Treasure Trail (something besides raw fish and runes): A Guthix Kiteshield! Yay! The treasure trail was about 8 clues long and the clue was from Iron Dragons (slayer task).
9. Hey there, I see you have 44 runecrafting. Why not make natures?
10. I thought my familiar would disappear when it reaches zero, but it doesn't...and I can still use its special move. Is it that you can't summon a new familiar at zero summoning points? I don't really understand the point of having summoning points drain like prayer when there are mini obelisks practically everywhere. I can't seem to find the answer in the RS Knowledge base.
11. I'd stick with an obby shield, that works just fine. The defender or a prayer book works fine too. The only reason I use a dragon square is because I got a shield half drop. Even then, purchasing the other half of the shield costs something like 700k from the Legend's Guild. I don't think it's worth it if you haven't done the quests.
12. You can safely hally them in Taverly dungeon. It's slow, but pretty good xp. I hated Black Demon tasks...until I got a Dragon left half drop from them. =P
13. Maybe you have a very very very strange virus. A virus that redirects you to a bakery website. Pretty clever advertising.
14. Thanks for your support! Update: I just died at Iron Dragon. Luckily someone was kind enough to bless my gravestone and I managed to save my stuff. Here's a screenshot of my deathpile: Whew a close one! I always try to bless other people's graves, and I'm glad people are doing the same!
15. They're still untradable. Just have to be lucky enough and find them through woodcutting or Manage Thy Kingdom minigame.
16. Yes, summoning affects your combat level. The new highest combat level on members is 138, on free worlds it's still 126 (cause f2p doesn't have summoning)
17. I'd go with Runecrafting if you care about money. If you don't really care about money, go for Agility. Agility emote is the coolest emote in my opinion. Why not both? =P Get 99 agility, then get 99 runecrafting. The agility will help with your altar/abyss runs.
18. Ah ha, that makes sense since they use a "sonic"-styled range attack. Good advice. I'll try this out if I don't end up putting them on my slayer "block list".
19. Nicely organized. I would combine all the 1-2-3 dose potions into 4 dose potions. That should save you a bit of space.
20. Check out my blog Looks like: Check out my blog (You forgot a close bracket ]]]]])
21. Yeah, I forgot about obby capes. They have great stats, and are probably in your price range.
22. Just to clarify... God capes are rewards from the Mage Arena Minigame in Level 50-ish Wilderness. (untradable, you can only own one at a time) God cloaks are rewards from Level 2 Treasure Trails. (tradable, very expensive)
