  1. Gained 3 Ranged levels by killing ogres (sorry Shrek). Ranged Level 68 now. :) My least favorite skill is actually kind of fun to train if you're using knives with Ava's Accumulator ("picks up" arrows/knives/darts for you, the arrows never actually leave your inventory). [Advice I got from the forums, I can't believe I was thinking about buying a Dark Bow for training, it's way too slow  ] I'm also racking up a decent amount of charms (gold especially) to help me get my summoning up.
  2. Good luck with your goals! I'm actually trying to get your range level right now.
  3. yeah, so basically re-summon and put the items on your B.O.B. [sidenote]
  4. From Wikipedia: Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish. There are many recipes, most of which have in common the following ingredients: sheep's 'pluck' (heart, liver and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for approximately three hours.     Uh, I'll go with the haggis. Cause at least it has some spices to hopefully cover up the taste. Would you rather be blind or be deaf?
  5. Congratulations. So much to do! Check out this guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=new_m ... _guide.htm
  6. Hmm, check all the crates. One of them should have a clue. Also make sure you're still holding your clue (sounds silly, but sometimes weird things happen).
  7. And check the crate in that middle building.
  8. I like to fish in Catherby because sometimes I have crops growing (north of Catherby bank), and if I'm growing an expensive herb, like ranarr or snapdragon, I like to run up there to check that it's not diseased. Also, sometimes (emphasis on sometimes), the conversation is better in Catherby than the Fishing Guild. Sometimes the Fishing Guild is dead silent and it's not fun for people that like to chat and skill. That's just my reasoning, other people might have different reasons for fishing there.
  9. I just got Level 70 Runecrafting!!!! I crafted laws until I was 61xp from level 70, then I waited in World 99 (tip.it home world and Law Running world) for someone to assist me. I waited for 10 minutes, no runners. :( A really nice player Crazybabe246 helped me level, I think she's was working for Fast Laws Inc. She switch to her skiller account and requested assistance from me. Bam! 70 Runecrafting! Now it's on to 70 Ranged. (I hate ranged. )
  10. Wow, excellent answer. Ah, and I forgot about chins, I have a few of those laying around in my bank from Hunter. Thanks! :P
  11. Thank you all for posting. Okay, I'll go with a rune crossbow and I'm assuming you guys mean enchanted mith/addy bolts, so I'll go with them. :
  12. Hey there, I'm thinking about getting 70 ranged, and I'm 65 right now. I know a dark bow fires 2 arrows at once, but I heard that it's actually one of the slowest weapons in the game. I'd be training with steel arrows. Is the Dark Bow used for training? Or mostly just duelling/Castle Wars/Bounty Hunter? Should I get one to train up to 70 then re-sell it? Or should I just stick with my magic shortbow? Thanks.
  13. Congratulations on 99 Magic!! (I'm congratulating you in advance, cause you're probably gonna level while I'm asleep). \
  14. Rate signatures. Would you rather kick a puppy or rob an old lady? (Horrible I know  )
  15. Thanks for your replies, all very helpful. I was assigned Iron Dragons for a slayer task (and I've been trying to train up my pathetic ranged stat with my slayer assignments). I guess I'll melee the Iron Dragons with Prayer Pots and Proselyte armor, like I've been doing. Taste my whip! :
  16. Hello, is it possible to range Iron Dragons at 65 Ranged or would it take ages to take one down? If so, which enchanted bolts do you recommend? Thanks!
  17. Hey there. So here's a little forum game called "Would You Rather..." Goes like this: Would you rather ___________ or _____________ Answer the last post, then post one of your own. (Could be RS related or real life related) (Try to keep it clean.) I'll start. Would you rather Runecraft or watch paint dry? (Homage to my friend that hates runecrafting :P )
  18. Yeah, it's basically used to track how fast the price is changing (by looking at the slope of the line). You can use this to better just the stability of a price over a length of time. If a new update happened, than there's a new demand for an item, the daily average will shoot up first, but the 5 day and 20 day average will remain low, until the daily average repeatedly goes up. Hope that makes sense.
  19. Hmm, some big things I can think of off the top of my head: -Trading limit, you can only make "balanced trades" -Introduction of the "Grand Exchange" near the Varrock West Bank, for trading -Oh yeah, and a new skill called Summoning. It affects combat level so the new highest combat level is 138, it's no longer 126.
  20. You can "use" the Dragon Gauntlets on Reggie (Fist of Guthix Rewards Shopkeeper) and ask him to uncharge them.
  21. Least expensive? I guess that would be gathering herbs yourself at Chaos Druids or Aberrant Specters (Need a Slayer level of 60 for them). Or maybe farm the herbs yourself if you have a decent farming level.
