  1. Thanks for all the advice, I'm currently trying to get my Agility up to 70.
  2. Well, if you really want privacy, I'd say go to Nardah (Nard-who? Nardah! A city in the desert that no one ever goes to!)... Or if you've done Contact!, how about the bank in Sophenem (also in the desert). That should give you some privacy.
  3. By "mastered" I think they mean whether you know how to do the minor things for that skill. For example, you could just spend a lot of money and buy raw lobsters/sharks and get 99 cooking. But are you a "true" master? Do you know how to make Gnome food? What about a Ugthanki Kebab? I think I'm a master of Woodcutting, I went out of my way to get the Lumberjack outfit, and I've played Jungle Cleanup and have used a waka canoe.
  4. There's more rockcrabs at Waterbirth Island. But I'm not sure if you have to do a quest for access to that island.
  5. First off, congrats on getting level 98 magic  Whatever you did to get to 98, I'd say keep going. :P
  6. Most people would say yes. Some people would say no (same people that say the ring of wealth is a piece of junk). I'm one of those that say yes. =P
  7. I'm a bit confused, cause you can do "Marriage Rites" and other prayers as much as you want. It's just the last option "Preach" that drains the special bar by 25%. Also, I'm confused by what you said about a "second special bar". Don't you just have 1 special bar no matter what weapon you use? (Cause your bar doesn't refill when you switch a weapon, otherwise you could just carry around 10 weapons and do special after special).
  8. Thanks guys, so I guess there's a benefit of preaching that I'm not aware of?
  9. I went to the lighthouse today and picked up my prayer books, and just preached with them for fun. Then I get the message: "You do not have enough Special Energy to preach." Was it always like that? I thought there was a time where you could preach as much as you wanted?
  10. People typically don't swap magic longs for supplies as much as yew longs, just because mage logs are rather annoying to get. As you probably know, they're about 1k each and high alch for 1.5k. It's pretty hard to profit from them if you're buying nature runes (which cost about 300gp each) and bowstring (about 150each). So unless you're making the nature runes or bowstring yourself, it's going to be fairly hard to make good profit. Even with 99 woodcutting and a dragon wc axe, a full inventory of magic logs still takes about 10 minutes or so. If you're going for 99 fletching, I'd say keep making yew longs and swapping those for supplies (you can easily swap back and forth if you have 1k or more). If you're going for profit, then I'd say get all the supplies yourself, and if you have a woodcutting level of 85 or more, gather the magic logs yourself...if you have 44 runecrafting, make your own natures...then make your own bowstring. Pure profit. Good luck!
  11. For gloves, definitely Barrows Gloves, if you have access to them from Recipe For Disaster. If not, Klank's Gauntlets from Underground Pass are pretty good. If not, the gauntlets from Family Crest quest are pretty good. Basically, you'll have to do quests or parts of a quest of you want decent gloves. As for the ring, what about a ring of wealth for a higher rate of good drops? Or maybe a Warrior ring?
  12. Have you heard of Experiment Cave? If you've done the Creature of Frankenstrain quest, you have access to monsters called Experiments. They have low defense and high hitpoints for their level, great for training.
  13. Hey there, I wouldn't even waste bowstring on anything lower than a yew longbow. Congrats on the level 43 fletching, I would just make unstrung bows to get your fletching up. Even yew shortbows aren't very good to string, it's just not worth it time/money-wise. Hope that helps.
  14. Great interview. I didn't know he had such a detailed and well updated YouTube account. =D>
  15. I think you're thinking of the Hide code. [hide] Like this.[/hide] You can highlight what you want to hide, then click on the "hide" button on the right.[/hide] [hide=And you can do this too] Like this.[/hide] (hide=And you can do this too) Like this.(/hide) Replace parenthesis ( ) with brackets [ ]

    POE

After a match you will always get 2 Pieces of Eight per bottle of rum your team makes. You can personally get an extra reward of up to 100 Pieces of Eight per game based on your efforts. Every every thing you do (giving one ingredient, sabotaging one enemy item, etc.) you'll earn 1 of the possible 100 extra PoE. That said, if you get 100 buckets of water and your team makes 15 bottles of rum, you'll earn 130 pieces of eight (100 for water + 30 (15 bottles x 2) = 130). So....after you get 100 buckets of water, STOP!...get other ingredients. I play the game a lot, and it's rather annoying to see everyone get a ridiculous amount of water, then don't do anything the rest of the game. Get your 100 buckets, then gather other ingredients as well. Help the team out!
  17. Lubufu is the fisherman on the southern coast of Brimhaven, marked with a fishing spot icon. Do you remember him from Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest? He teaches you how to fish Karambwan.
  18. Yeah, here's the breakdown for reference... o 1-25 Chicken Feather o 26-50 Rat Meat o 51-75 Spider Egg o 76-150 Goblin Armour o 151-250 Unicorn Horn o 251-500 Bear Fur o 501-750 Scorpion Pit o 751-1000 Dark Wizard Robe o 1001-1250 Skeleton Shield o 1251-1500 Varrock Guard o 1501-1750 Hobgoblin Killer o 1751-2000 Ghost Cloak o 2001-2500 Demon Vanquisher o 2501-3000 Moss Giant Whipper o 3001-3500 Black Knight Trainer o 3501-5000 Ice Giant Melter o 5001-10000 Dragon Slayer o 10001+ Troll General
  19. It's kind of neat cause it adds a quarter (25%) of what you hit to your attack, strength, and defense...boosting those stats temporarily. But currently there are only 2 area in the game where you could use it, the Mogre Camp from Recipe for Disaster, and a small part of Harmony Island from The Great Brain Robbery quest. It's just a fairly rare drop from Brine Rats. (Killing 800 brine rats got me 2 brine sabres)
  20. Yeah, I'd go for 70 attack personally. That whip is still one of the best things I've ever bought.
  21. Yeah, either sell them individually (takes forever!) or sell them for really cheap (but higher than the high alch value) to a merchanter.
  22. 1. You've got the trusty Lumbridge range by the cook (useful if you have the chest in the cellar unlocked from Recipe For Disaster). 2. Catherby is quite popular, right next to the bank 3. For a quiet place, try Nardah, in the desert. Close to a bank as well. 4. Finally, try Lumbridge top floor bank. No range, however there are regular log respawns, just use a tinderbox and you're ready to go! (This is what I plan to do with my raw lobsters when I go back to f2p)
  23. This new dungeon hasn't been released yet, but should be released within a few days. It was hinted at in the August Behind The Scenes from the front page of Runescape.com:
  24. Hey there, There's actually a high alching calculator that might be handy for you. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=high_alch_calc.htm It shows you the alchemy price values. Just make sure it's higher than what you're paying for your nats (I think nature runes cost about 300gp each). Good luck.
