If I remember correctly, they tested on mythbusters that you would get more wet running. Also, by using simple physics equations, you can figure out it would be more tireing to run. W=fd The work is expended the same, but when you take power=w/t you'd find it takes less time to run, which makes you use more power. I think I got it right :?

Not always, sometimes people can stereotype in a good way the definition of it is- connecting a person to a group while it is mostly referred to as bad, I would say it isn't always.
