Make yourself useful during that 2-4 hour initial downloading and patching and read a bit of the game manual. I browsed through it a bit while i was downloading and it really did help me understand some more of the game mechanics (though the WoW website does a great enough job in itself). If you're having trouble picking a class, race, profession, whatever, I highly suggest browsing WoWWiki. It's got a lot of great info on the classes and how to choose what class you want. Welcome to WoW :D

I really liked the look of Zangarmarsh, wait till you start questing there :wink:. A lot of people seem to hate it but it is by far my favorite outland zone (Nagrand in a close second, because Halaa is so bichin).

^^^ Guns don't belong at school, period. Kapeesh. Nada. Letting students have guns to defend themselves from other students with guns is an absolute farce.

That's a crazy complicated UI :shock:. I try to keep mine close to the default, with Titanpanel, atlas, damagemeter, threatmeter, and a dottime added on (raid stuff too). Anyway I dinged 69 today but who knows how long until I get 70. My connection has been so crappy, the longest i've stayed on is like 10 minutes in the past day and a half. Course, I disconnected trying to post this :|

Just got my shadowcloth tailoring specialization today and started farming mats for the Frozen Shadoweave set. Should only be about 2 weeks (friend has a spare cooldown :D)

That's good that you'll be lveling in Outland with a friend. If there's anything Outland is lacking, it's not group quests :P

If you wanna see all the love Locks get, check out the warlock wow forums. Half the threads are made by shamans and mages [bleep]ing about fear/death coil/felguard etc. Rogues give some rap too about paranoia and them changing the trinket in the next patch to break stun lock. Nad, what's the name of your new rogue on BB?

Yeah they are a pretty easy class to play (espceially with the felguard ). Maybe that's why they're the most hated class in the game :oops:

Have you tried to come to the dark side yet? Warlocks can Lifetap-Drain Life. Mana, Schmana 8-) EDIT: As for ST groups, worst 5 man instance ever for pugs. I ran that thing 8 times, and each one gave me a headache. You always get idiots who think they know their way around (whoever designed that place is going to hell btw) or train all the whelplings at the worst possible moment. I'm so glad I never have to run that thing again.

You make it sound like they didn't do that because they're american :|. The cirumstances of the shootings may have been different. Apparantly in this case the students got to the ground, and the murderer just picked them off one by one while they were laying there.

I didn't even know they were releasing new maps. They looks really cool, but I doubt buy them. I haven't really played halo 2 in like 6 months. EDIT: A remake of Hang Em High :shock:. Well well, maybe it is worth it

Gim, I know you're all for telling a teacher, but are you against a student dealing with the problem themselves if thats how they want to go with it? I mean kids in high school are nearly adults, what's wrong with dealing with your own beef. Unless you're going to be telling the boss/parents/police all your life..
